They went above and beyond to help us with navigation to our next destination and assisted us with many other details throughout our stay. I had booked a three night stay here but didn’t actually stay at this hotel. When I arrived to check in for my Wed, Thu, Fri night stays I was told that the hotel would be closed on Friday. They said that they had tried to call me, but I never got any calls. My options were to stay at Nordlys for two nights and then move to the Thon Partner Hotel Skagen for the Friday night. Or I could just move to that hotel for all three nights. I didn’t really want to pack up and move just for one night so I opted to got there for all three. I think this was a mistake as the partner hotel is obviously not as nice as the one I had booked.
So my review can only be of Thon Partner Hotel Skagen. The staff were lovely, breakfast was excellent, and my room was very nice. There is not gym or restaurant at this hotel. In the evening from 4 to 7 there are free waffles and from 7 to 9 free bread and soup. I tried the soup the first night and it was excellent.

I have stayed at this amazing hotel many , many times in the last 3 and a half years!! Everything about the Thon Hotel Nordlys from the staff, the very comfortable rooms, the breakfast, the location is absolutely perfect!!!

When we first walked in, we did not like the look of the hotel, at all. It gave us the creeps.
But the desk clerk was very, very nice and our room was nice and mostly comfortable. There was heat wave and the hotel had no air conditioning or even a fan.

Great hotel across from the peir with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great, as usual, but parking is still a bit of a pain. Fortunately with two motorcycles we are able to park hoth in one space, which at this hotel is in the next block and free from 4 pm to 8 am, which worked well for us.

I had great experience at the hotel. I left my jewelry at the hotel after I left. U contacted the staff through and online inquiry form. I thought they wouldn’t reply in time BUT they reply within 24 hrs. The staff was so helpful and flexible by holding onto my item until I return to get it. I retrieved item a week later with no issues. I am definitely will stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Very clean room with a wonderful view. The breakfast is very good too. On a warm day, however, the room can be very hot with a large window facing the sun. If they could offer a small fan like other hotels I stayed, it would be greatly appreciated.

The breakfast is amazing. The best we’ve had in Norway. Our room was a little less impressive as the window opened directly onto the street so I had a feeling someone someone would come in any minute. The room was also a bit too hot and we couldn’t regulate that. But the bathroom was nice and the hotel staff was helpful. There was free street parking, but just because we were lucky and were there on a Sunday.

Thon was beautiful! Short walking distance from both the train station and airport. The checkin process took less than 5 minutes. Our room had a great view of the harbor. And the complementary breakfast buffet was to die for!!!! I’d come back to Bodø just for that breakfast! Did I mention it’s included?! 10/10 would recommend.

Lovely hotel with an amazing breakfast!

We needed to stay in Bodø for an evening prior to travelling across to the Lofoten Islands. The hotel location was great, being just a short 10 minute walk from the train station & ferry terminal. We had a front facing room overlooking the harbour which was lovely. Staff were excellent and provided a fabulous buffet breakfast! Thank you for a must enjoyable stay. We would certainly stay again.

Amazing experience!!! The hotel is close to the port. 5 mins with a taxi or 15mins on the bus from the airport.
The room is very practical. Comfortable bed. Big bathroom with a shower.

Beautiful hotel in a great location.

We stayed two nights in this Thon hotel. It was one of four Thon hotels we stayed at during two weeks of traveling in Norway.

The hotel is right on the water and beautiful. The room was good, but the extra bed for our third guest was not very comfortable.

The breakfast was very good and there was a large area with comfortable tables to enjoy it.

We had a car and there is a parking garage behind the hotel that is very secure where we had an assigned space (the parking did cost extra).

Overall, it was a great stay and perfect for our needs. Was also pretty close to the ferry to Lofoten. We would definitely stay there again.

far from relaxing. breakfast is fair, no variance, missing some basics, waffles? hello?? this is norway! powdered eggs and more powdered eggs, ugh. staff is grossly undertrained in hospitality, more likely babysitters working in a hotel. my room was missing some of the linens, also falling apart. VERY poorly maintained. missing toilet paper holders, holes in walls, rooms that would lock sporatically. understaffed, no manager on site, ever. if the room was not prepaid I would have switched hotels, I almost did anyway. steer clear.

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön, aber wir waren mit dem Zimmer nicht so glücklich. Unser Fenster war Richtung Foyer und ließ sich dadurch nicht öffnen. Dadurch wirkte das Zimmer auch ziemlich dunkel.
Das Frühstück war großartig, es war wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Großes Lob.
