​Great stay during a chaotic travel day!
After a wave of flight cancellations, the Comfort Inn JFK was exactly what we needed. Its close proximity to the airport and the convenient shuttle made the transition seamless.
​The standout, however, was the staff. They were incredibly accommodating and managed to get us a very early check-in, which was a huge relief. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and genuinely helpful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a stress-free stay near JFK!

Booked last minute as we had an unexpected layover in Jfk. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Couldn't have breakfast as we had an early morning start but hotel offered little take away bags with snacks instead which was nice. Will stay again.

Property is convenient to JFK, but that’s about it. Very limited food options, with delivery or uber being the only ones. They advertised a bar for drinks with snacks, there is a bar but it’s empty, no staff, no drinks, just an empty wall. Snacks available are mostly chips and sodas. Room was comfy and clean but the A/C was useless.

For a cheaper night stay in New York, this hotel was perfect. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was extremely convenient and saved us the high cost of other services. Also there is a bus station right outside the hotel, which for a longer ride, allowed my group to easily get to the subway station and travel from there. Only thing to consider is that there isn’t great food options close by, so plan on eating out before coming back!

After a horrible experience at LaGuardia airport with our flight to Disney cancelled and 2 very upset children we booked another flight for the next day out of JFK. Our flight didn’t get cancelled until midnight so we quickly booked a hotel room to sleep for a few hours. The receptionist at this property was AMAZING! She was so kind and had a bagged breakfast for us in the very early morning - I wish I got her name! She is the best!

Upon checkin a woman named cassandra was extremely mean and rude. I told her I am very sad because my mom died and she said “so my mom died too” i said yesterday? She said we do not have any rooms until 3:00. It was 6:30 am. I sat in the lobby. Luckily for me a new lady came in around 8 and she gave me my room early. But this was an exasperating experience. Cassandra also said to me that there are other hotels nearby and she had the option whether she wanted to check me in or not. This was very bad.

The man who checked us in late on March 20th was fantastic and the room was clean.
The shuttle driver had no idea where he was going and took literally 40 minutes and the guests on the shuttle finally speaking up to get him to terminal 8 where most of us were flying out of.

The elevators tank, the rug were so dirty and old. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting. That's why it's included because nobody would pay for that.The shower was gross it was just in the side of the room with no actual doors or barrier and the water when all over the whole bathroom. The front desk person didn't give me a wake-up call that I requested and told me that I was on a list for a shuttle at nine o'clock in the morning and then when I came down in the morning I was told that it was full and I wasn't on there. The only reason I stayed here was because it was close to the airport and I did have an international flight to get to, but I needed to take an uber anyway. Why would you have room thermostats set to 67° with no way of adjusting it. Bad food, dirty, and freezing with staff who don't care.

​While the immediate area around the hotel looks a bit rough, the hotel itself was very comfortable and a solid choice for a JFK stay. The room was great, featuring a comfy bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and quality amenities like the TV. I also really appreciated the breakfast offerings and the helpful shuttle service to and from the airport.

The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help me navigate the transit system for my trip into Midtown Manhattan. If you can look past the neighborhood’s first impression, the service and interior comfort make this a 4-star experience.

Shuttle from federal station was fantastic. We arrived and the shuttle had already left. I contacted the hotel and they sent the shuttle in less than 10 minutes. Absolutely fantastic! The breakfast was perfect and certainly exceeded expectations for a comfort inn. Can’t say enough about the place.

Although it was rather small, this hotel provided comfort for the short time we stayed there. The staff is friendly and the complimentary breakfast is great! One thing is that the bathroom in our room would flood the floors whenever we used the shower even if the doors were closed.

My trip was canceled by the airline because of a war in Iran. I tried contacting the hotel manager four times to cancel the stay and possibly moving it to a date in November. The manager never returned my calls or emails. I would not recommend doing business with this property.

They have no parking even thow the reviews said they do . I would have never book with a hotel that has no parking. Shower was leaking water on the floor. Room key didn’t work some times . Internet was very slow. The biggest issue in my stay was the parking. This hotel does not have its own parking. You need to park on the street which has lot of restrictions and no clear signs for no parking. So it is almost certain that you will get a parking ticket one or the other way. Even hotel staff did not guide well when it comes to parking. So be careful when you book this hotel and be aware this hotel does not have it’s own parking.

We didn't use the internet, we didn't use the work out room but, everything was CLEAN!! The hotel is only six years old and the manager, Samil was delightful. I had phoned beforehand to make sure no cleaning sprays were used because of my asthma. He told me as we were waiting to leave that he checked the room himself when he saw that notation. He and Meagan were there to help us with directions, parking..anything we needed. I'd stay here again for sure!
