The room itself was very nice, the hotel seems upscale. The staff were very considerate and accommodating. The rooms though were not well lit. The bathroom mirror was especially dark. I let the water run in the shower for 10 minutes and it barely got warm and then returned to cold. Turning it in the other direction made the water frigid. The breakfast was good, the coffee was excellent. The bed was comfortable. There was no remote control in the room I had to call down to the front desk to get it. But there wasn't a lot of options on the tv. Also, Wi-Fi in the room was so slow it was basically useless. I got the room on a deal so couldn't really complain. I didn't feel like switching rooms, so I didn't complain about the lack of hot water in the shower.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.The only downsides were that guests aren’t able to control the A/C temperature, which made the room a bit less comfortable than expected and the room was clean but smelled heavily of cigarette smoke than that, it was a good short stay.

This hotel is in a very central location, making it easy to access many of Izmir's main attractions and historical sites. It's also very affordable, which I appreciated. The hotel staff were sp helpful and efficient, especially with the valet parking (for which I was extra grateful). I especially loved the breakfast buffet--there were so many great options and everything was always so delicious. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here, and I would highly recommend Emen's Hotel to anyone wanting to visit Izmir.

The hotel is in a convenient location in the city center. It's modern, clean, and well maintained. The room temperature was an issue as I was told it's centrally controlled for only heating or cooling, so it was too warm. Breakfast was a buffet with many choices, but as often happens with buffets the food gets cold and stale when it's sitting out. The staff were nice but sometimes didn't seem to know the area well and didn't have much advice.

The valet parking service personnel and the front desk staff was very helpful. On our first night the front desk person upgraded us to a suite, however there is no ventilation in that bathroom on the 4th floor and their policy of locking the thermostat at 27 degrees celcius is very strange, essentially there is no AC for cooling, it is just for heating. We ended up changing the room for our second night to a regular room as we could not tolerate the constant sewage smell in the upper 4007 suite. Omer at the front desk was very understanding and nice about changing the room.

After having a horrible experience, staying at a hotel near this one with roaches crawling on the floor, this place felt like a heaven in hell. It was super clean, I finally got to rest and take a nice shower.Staff was helpful and the breakfast was great. I highly recommend this hotel if you have to stay in that area.

I loved this hotel. A super comfortable room, superb breakfast buffet and friendly staff. The location is perfect being close to the Smyrna ruins and the climb up to the castle. It's also by the bazaar and then on to Konak. Highly recommended. I'll definitely stay there again if I come back to Izmir

Amazing place in Izmir !!! This IS THE PLACE to stay if you are in Izmir. Right across the big mosque and Rumi's grave. Walkable to everything around. Great food choices. Owner was out of this world. Rooms were Great. Breakfast was decent. Altogether, it was an amazing experience. Wish we had stayed longer.

The hotel is in the heart of downtown, and we were told by our airport transfer driver that the area was dangerous to walk at night.
There aren’t good restaurants in the immediate surroundings, but if you’re willing to walk 1-2 kms you can find better options.

No sleep or good rest here !!

If you want a good night’s rest , this is NOT the hotel for you . It’s located next to a slum where there are numerous dogs that bark ALL NlGHT , every night !! Truly awful !!

Scratched in bed all night too , bed may have had bed bugs . They only change the sheets every 3 days .
Room is fairly good size with kitchenette Bathroom shower is so small , you can’t turn around in it.

Not worth the price as there are numerous other close by hotels which would make more şense to spend little more .

Very disappointed .

I recently was staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and every team member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help.

The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were of high quality. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water, a coffee/tea station, and a well-stocked minibar.

One of the highlights of my stay was the complementary breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options.

The hotel was conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from the Basmane Gar train station. The staff were extremely helpful; they let us drop our luggage early (8:00 am) and invited us to have breakfast. The breakfast buffet was very good. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Laundry service was provided at a reasonable price. When we checked out, they let us leave our luggage before our departure.

The uniqueness is the Staff. When we requested something, no matter what it was, they responded straight away, I mean within seconds. We were amazed that they wanted to do their very best by being super efficient and super friendly. Very nice and helpful, lovely Staff. Tolgahan, Cansu Hanim, Gozde Hanim, Alper, Cenap Bey, Erdal, Serdar Bey, Doruk Bey , we thank you alll. And of course, all the other Staff we could not get their names of, they were amazing as well. Cleaning ladies were very good too, they were considerate. Very intelligent , nice people work at this hotel. We have stayed at so many different hotels, we rate this one above 100 percent because of the top Staff. We will book again😊

Super quiet, instant room temperature adjustment, wonderful beds, remarkable service, great breakfast, lots of room amenities. We did not want to leave. This is what we really look in a hotel for. We do not care about the view.
The question, do you want a view above everything else you would have to stay somewhere else. The hotel is also great for meditation.

A lot of luxury places could learn a trick or two from this outstanding budget hotel.
Rooms are well planned and comfortable and feature one of the best showers I've encountered. Breakfast is good for the price point and service there is first class under Gözde's watchful eye
Well situated for the main sights and easy to get to from the aırport - train to Hilal then 1 stop on metro to Basmane.

Great place, I found very easy to get from Deizili and then to the airport. The Izmir train station is a 5 minute walk. The only inconvenience i found was that tou cannot set the temperature in your room, ut is centrally controlled and the room was way too hot for my liking. I had to open the window and put up with the noice from the street

Location was not exactly mainstreet but the taxi got us there . The bellboy was very helpful. He even prepared our takeout breakfast the next day since we had a 7:30 pick-up for our tour.
He was also the one who fixed the safe which was left locked by the previous occupant.

Stayed on 2 separate nights a few days apart in different rooms. Rooms were very well soundproofed and beds extremely comfortable giving an exceptionally good night’s sleep. All areas of the hotel were very clean and maintained. We found the staff to be very friendly and enjoyed breakfast which had a really good selection.

The hotel is in a great location, just on from Basmane Square with good transport links and a short walk to Konami Square and the Pier.

Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying when we are in Izmir again.

I had a wonderful stay at Emmen's hotel, checking was swift and efficient, you were accompanied to your room and were showed where everything was. The room was clean with a wonderful bathroom with shower pressure. They also have a nice spread for breakfast that you can enjoy before exploring the city. The location is walkable but there is also the tram and buses if you choose to use them. The staff were amazing, always willing to help.
The location of the hotel is on an industrial area, very safe and quiet at night.
I will definitely stay at Emmen's Hotel again

The large bed I booked was actually two twin beds pushed together with nothing to bridge the gap so I basically slept on a twin bed since I wasn't going to be able to sleep on top of the gap between the mattresses.

The hotel was clean, the free breakfast is fine, and the staff is friendly. However, this is not a hotel to rely on the staff for suggestions. They might be more helpful to Turkish speakers but the one time I was given restaurant advice, he sent me to a place for lunch that is not open at lunchtime.

The location was walkable to many sites. Just a little off the main street in a techie area. We were comfortable but that is the only reason for rating it good instead of excellent.
