Nice place to stay

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed at the Vienna House Easy. Rooms and public areas are spotless. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting the picturesque old town.

Overrated and overpriced

Here's my detailed review of this hotel:

1- the front desk receptionist is very friendly and spoke fluent English.

2- the carpet in the hallway leading up to the rooms is of the lowest quality possible and it was super dirty (on 4th floor).

3- the carpet in the room is also of the cheap kind but was a bit cleaner than the hallways carpet.

4- the bed was comfortable but the pillows were not... they were of the kind that goes flat and you'd have to constantly fold it in order to have your head elevated enough for a good head rest.

5- the shower arrangement is one of the worst... did the person who designed it tried to take a shower in it? I bet not.

6- the hotel could invest in individual bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel instead of the bulk bottles mounted to the wall.

7- the room lacked air-conditioning and therefore; on a hot summer day or night, you'd have to open the window to get some cool breeze into the room. This will in turn make the room extremely noisy as the noise from the road below fills the room.

8- the breakfast is about average and nothing to brag about.

9- the location is ok but it is right off the main road into Limburg and therefore lots of traffic noise.

10- the room rate for this 2-star hotel is high... for the quality that it is, it should be half.

Convenient for visiting Limburg

This is the second time staying here using as an overnight stay whilst en-route to a holiday. We timed this visit so we arrived early so we got a proper look around the delightful old town of Limburg. Lovely hotel with friendly staff.Excellent breakfast as well.

Excellent hotel

We found the hotel to be excellent, clean & modern, the staff were very helpful & friendly. The breakfast was amazing & available from 6.30 to 10.30 which is very generous. The check out time was 12 noon which is later than many places & gave us time to have another morning in Limburg. The location was very good with easy walking to the old part of Limburg & the newer part & to the railway station Limburg Lahn - all within a few minutes of the hotel.

Second stay within a month or so and again problem with the heating in my room. This clearly shows that hotel's heating system is not working properly which is a problem for cold winter months. I had to ask for a portable heater at the reception again. Their first response was \"we have given them all away to other rooms\" (this indicates others have issue with the heating) but in the end they managed to find one more unit.

Nice and clean hotel, very convenient for parking. Great staff.

However, there was not enough heating in my room I was freezing while the heater was turned on to max. Very kind gentleman from the reception came to check the issue, agreed that the heating is low. In 5 minutes he was back with a portable heater. I am not sure if heating is issue in the whole hotel or just this one room. I am hesitant to book this hotel again considering that winter has just started.

Refreshing space, light and air

When we saw pictures of the Hotel on the webpage we thought it looked a bit twee, and when we arrived its loction on a major road did not look encouraging, but once inside all our misgivings were set aside. Vienna House Easy Lilburn has a refreshing light and airy.atmosphere and this includes both in the bed room and in the general areas.

Everything was great except the windows.

Everything was great except the fact that the windows cannot be opened. Talked to the staff but they told us the windows are locked for safety purpose. As the temperature was 28 degree and the room has no air-conditioning, it makes it very hot.

Lovely hotel with excellent friendly staff and the scenery was first class .. Hotel spotless and location could not have been better We travelled around the area and visited some of the small mountain villages which was perfect for us Also we caught the train to Freiburg which was free after filling in a form from the hotel ... I would definitely use this hotel again and give it 100%

Convenient overnight stop

When staying here five weeks ago I mentioned in my review the noise from the rooms on the street. Clearly nobody reads or takes notice of these reviews because this week I was given another room on the street and they could not offer an alternative.
I think the breakfasts have deteriorated. The staff are not so good. They cleared away my drink before I had the opportunity to start it! I think the curse of the coach party may be doing them no favours - other than financially, of course.

Die Fenster in den Zimmern müssen besser abgedichtet werden. Das Frühstück und insbesondere die Auswahl an Rührei und Bacon sollte dringend geändert und verbessert werden. Super Hotel. Wir waren zu einem Kurzurlaub in Limburg und waren mit dem Gesamtpaket vollauf zufrieden. Das Personal ist höflich und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet reichlich. Auch dass in einer Nacht zwei Busse (voll Passagieren) zu Gast waren fiel nicht auf.
Sollte es uns wieder nach Limburg verschlagen, wissen wir, wo wir übernachten.

Nah gelegen zur Altstadt

Zentral gelegenes Hotel, mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten.
Nur wenige Gehminuten zur wunderschönen Altstadt.
Die Zimmer sindr ansprechend ausgestattet. Die sanitären Anlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise nicht mehr so ansehnlich. Was mich aber richtig stört, sind die extremen Schwankungen in den Zimmerpreisen.Mal um die 90 €, die nächste Woche um die 150€, für das gleiche Zimmer.Dann gehen wir eben woanders hin.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Das Frühstück und der Service waren sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt ganz nah zur Innenstadt, was sehr angenehm ist, allerdings ist die direkte Umgebung sehr laut und nicht schön. Das Haus selber ist sehr zweckmäßig und super hellhörig! Man hört die Straße und andere Gäste, die sich auf dem Flur unterhalten, als stünden sie direkt an der Tür!

Doorrijden naar een andere plek is beter

Entree was door rokers heen te lopen. Echt afschuwelijk vies om zo een hotel in en uit te gaan.
We hebben gevraagd om een speciaal allergeen kussen, dat zou gebracht worden maar is nooit gedaan.
Kamer was sfeerloos en lag aan een heel drukke weg. Daardoor was het niet wenselijk ‘s nachts een raam open te zetten.
Onverwacht moesten we ook nog €8 betalen voor parkeren. Maatregel was nét ingevoerd maar stond niet op de site toen wij boekten.
Ontbijt was wel prima vers en lekker.

Good managed and well equipped hotel. Large rooms and bathrooms. During breakfast which was very good and tasty, a little bit noisy due to missing sound breaking plants or furniture.
Rather desolate environment with abandoned gas station and a fallow unkempt property behind. Both opposite hotel entry. Maybe a fence with privacy protection could improve this negative point.
Way to historical city just 5 min footwalk.

Eigentlich nettes Hotel mit Verbesserungspotential

Im Großen und Ganzen ist das Hotel zu empfehlen!
Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und lässt einen prima in den Tag starten. Bett ist bequem und nicht durchgelegen! Zimmer war ausreichend groß. Hotel ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen.
Hier meine Kritikpunkte:
Ich hatte ein Zimmer in welchem es im Bad sehr nach Zigarettenrauch roch. Als ich dies an der Rezeption anmerkte und den Verdacht äußerte, der Zigarettenrauch käme eventuell durch die Lüftung, sagte der Mitarbeiter nur, dass dieses Zimmer wohl gern zum rauchen genutzt werde…
Der zweite Punkt war das mangelhafte Housekeeping:
In der Dusche war eine Wandhalterung mit Duschgel angebracht. Als ich dann (komplett nass) unter der Dusche stand, stellte ich fest dass dieses leer war…nicht sehr schön…auch das wurde beim auschecken nur mit einem Kopfschütteln kommentiert…
Die Parkplätze in der hoteleigenen Tiefgarage sind SEHR eng…und dies wird durch „rücksichtsvolle“ Mitparker noch verschlimmert.

Nie wieder !

Kissen schmutzig wurden ausgetauscht. Haare im Bett. Handtücher waren gebraucht. Hotel ist voll in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück ist keine 5 EUR wert. Verstehe überhaupt nicht das andere Gäste hier gute Bewertungen schreiben. Absolut kein Vergleich mit Vienna House in Berlin.
