I was treated like a king by the entire staff team. Breakfast was of exceptional quality with a wide variety of options. Enjoy my time having 蘿蔔糕 overseeing the hotel garden and swimming pool. Kudos to front desk and transportation team who always help me with questions and bookings. Appreciate John from the front desk fix my suitcase defective parts and Simione handle bookings for me , and so many more people I did not get chance to know their names. Hope to see you again !

Such a unique and exclusive experience. You get the best of both worlds: luxury up in the national park, and a short drive away the hustle and bustle of the night market. Great beaches nearby, but the hotel pool is hard to beat to end the day with the view of the sunset.

Staff were fantastic and made the trip. Unfortunately the typhoon hit as we got in, they did offer to cancel the stay on the day but we were nearly there, and they made every effort to make the trip enjoyable despite limitations from the weather. Only qualms are that the food in the restaurant could be better for vegetarians but the kitchen staff accomodated changes as requested.

We had a wonderful stay at Gloria Manor. It is a 5 star view and service. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and responsive. They clearly prioritize customer service. We loved being the little bit away from the busy beach area perched up in the mountains with glorious views. It is worth ensuring you book an ocean view room! Beverages, tea, and snacks were stocked daily, and the little touches like a reusable glass water bottle with filling stations as higher quality slippers were a convenient touch. We were without a vehicle and felt no inconvenience at all. The hotel shuttle runs as often as you need it and will get you to the most frequented spots any time (park entrance, beach, night market). Breakfast was exceptional and the pool area was lovely - huge, super clean, well-maintained, quiet, and has all the little extras you need. Our only wish was that the restaurant had more light snacks or meals at a more reasonable cost. We ended up feeling a bit forced to go down to the main street for lunch and dinner, a street with limited hours and options, even though we would have preferred to have remained at the hotel at times. Overall, we loved our stay, were sorry to have to leave, and will certainly plan to return one day. Ignore any negative reviews. I have a fairly high bar when it comes to hotels, particularly around cleanliness and decor, and it was easily met.

I enjoyed my stay all the way until the end of my trip, when the staff rushed me at my checkout and caused me to drop my phone and break it. It was an unfortunate end of the entire trip. I would suggest their staff members to relax a bit when dealing with hotel guests and not get too eager or rushed, as it kills the relaxing mood.

Nice design hotel with beautiful view, great spot for breakfast. The hotel staffs seem not trained well to match the hotel (not very organized and professional). It takes sometime to reach hotel staffs by phone, cleaning staffs are pushing giant orange trolley and using guest elevator during the day time. Still a lovely hotel to be recommended!

The BEST place to stay in Kenting (and possibly within southern Taiwan). The resort is a little sanctuary, a peaceful oasis away from the busy Kenting night market. The hotel has beautiful and equipped rooms, a nice 25m swimming pool, and surrounded by nature. The spa and therapy rooms in the resort are also really beautiful with professional aroma therapists in house.
If you like a peaceful and quiet stay away from the busy main street, this is your best choice. You will need a car to be able to get around easily.
If you want to be close to the busy main street and beach, then it's more suitable to stay in a hotel that is near the main street.

Truly Relaxing Vacation Destination in Kenting

This is my 2nd stay at this property and there will be a 3rd coming up soon. The hardware is showing some signs of wear comparing to my first stay in 2017. However that does not diminish from the unbeatable location, warm & genuine service and just a overall laid back charm that this place oozes. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay another night.

Great place in an amazing, very natural setting. Bed & pillows (we tried all 3 pillow types they had) could have been a bit more comfortable, but our backs are quite sensitive. Only thing we really didn’t like was the fact that they changed extra for a Cappuccino for breakfast.

Happy to see that they have a children’s breakfast on offer this year. That’s something new and very welcomed! Our little boy loves the swimming pool and the big grass foreground to run and play in. It’s a wonderful place for a family trip. The staff and service remain impeccable, as every year that we have visited.

Wonderful hideaway on the hillside

We had a lovely stay at Gloria Manor! The location was perfect for a relaxing few days in the park... the staff were very friendly and professional, and looked after us very well! Beds were fantastic, and the breakfast delicious- especially the house made breads :) We’re both swimmers, so having the 25m pool at our disposal was a real plus! The service at Gloria Manor is top notch- we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful ocean/mountain retreat

This hotel is tranquility defined with a wonderful welcoming staff (especially Claire!), nestled in green mountains with a gorgeous ocean view and easy access to Kenting National Park. The food is beautifully served on handmade pottery dishes in a comfortably elegant dining room. Opt for the outside tables at sunset to watch the sun fade into the ocean horizon. As an example of their outstanding customer service, we walked to the National Park and the hotel's shuttle driver, who was just driving by, spotted us paying for our tickets. He ran up to us to intercept and provide discount tickets, saving us some NT. They go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and at home. The outdoor yoga was also quite memorable.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Kenting. They offer multiple kinds of shuttle services, and it is very easy to get where you want to go, such as the night market (drop off and pick up). The only downside is that the rooms are a bit small for two unrelated people in twin beds.

Fantastic Hotel

Wow, what a find. Needed to find a quiet hotel after attending my sons wedding and holidaying with my two toddling grandsons. What a find! Previously one of Chang Ki Chek's country lodges beautifully restored and brought up to date. No expense has been spared and the staff and management of the hotel are very proud of their hotel. Very well appointed rooms with all the luxury you could ask for. They even have a fleet of busses that bring you into Kenting for the markets as well as taking you to various points in the national forest. One of the buses also connects with the High Speed Train so you can be in Taipei within about 4hrs, 2 hrs bus & 2hrs train.hotel thoroughly recommended if you visit Taiwan.

Worst luxury hotel experience

This hotel is very expensive and customer service is horrible. We purchased hotel with 2 meals and we were sent to hospital due to all symptoms of puking, fever and diarrhea after the breakfast. They even sent us to a small and not advanced hospital when we ask to go to a big hospital. One of our family member has to be hospitalized one day and they don't apologize anything but keep saying it's not their problem and sound really rude to us. It's terrified experience after we paid so much and spent extra night in hospital. They only care to make money but not take care of customers! Very terrible experience !

Wonderfully accommodating staff, fantastic hotel!

This was an spur of the moment trip for us as a family to get away from the hustle of Taipei where we were visiting relatives. The trip to get to the hotel takes a bit, as the only reasonable method to get there is to rent a car or take a bus from Kaohsiung. The effort is definitely worth it. We were a bit early for check in, but the hotel staff were very accommodating and picked us up at the bus stop and delivered us to the luxurious, but understated lobby where we were able to relax with an herbal tea while we checked in, not at a counter, but a comfortable couch.

The overall design of the hotel is marvelous and well executed. The rooms are well appointed, the staff is very helpful in suggesting ideas for tourism, but one could easily spend the entire time at the hotel if your goal is pure relaxation. The hotel is very environmentally minded, but not in an overbearing way. It felt right.

One caution when planning for the hotel, Gloria Manor is doing their best to avoid waste and needs to know if you plan to dine off their set menu so they can procure appropriately. We weren't able to do so because of time constrains, but it would definitely be worthwhile as the service at other tables looked fantastic. Afternoon tea, and the regular menu were excellent, but we missed out.

Modern Hotel in Great Location

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Located inside the National Park the hotel is quiet with great views but a short drive (or free shuttle service) to the bottom of the hill brings you to the heart of Kenting - the famous food market street! The hotel interior has been newly furnished and is luxurious and modern with an Eco friendly touch. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. One thing we were surprised at was the room rate included both breakfast and dinner. Whilst the food was pretty good we didn't like the fact that every thing was a set menu - no choice of what we would be served or even told what we would be served. Overall a very good hotel and would stay again.

Tranquil paradise in Kenting

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and were amazed at the level of personal and genuine service. The hotel is a former Chiang Kai Shek lodge that was completely renovated in 2011-12 into a high-end boutique hotel (60 rooms) with the service and amenities of a large luxury resort (no spa). It sits on a hill overlooking the bay in Kenting and has gorgeous views all around. The hotel has a free shuttle that will transport you anywhere within a certain radius, including Kenting and the national park. If you are taking the Kenting Express bus, print the directions from the website in Chinese and show your driver so he knows which stop to let you off at. The breakfast and dinners are 5-star quality, with a set menu from the chef each day. We loved being surprised and were never disappointed. Breakfast had multiple courses of super fresh fruit, cheese, eggs, rice porridge, tea, etc. We paid for the dinner one night and it was included with our package another night. It was a 7-course meal including the freshest seafood I have ever had. We took pictures of every course and saved the menus (new each day); it was that good. This hotel is in the category of a Ritz Carlton, with the quality of service exceeding that of any resort I have ever stayed in because of its smaller size and amazing staff. My only complaint is that the pool was not heated and there wasn't a hot tub. Most of the year this would not be a concern, but we were there in the winter (70s and sunny still).

Top notch service, a bit secluded since it's up in the actual park but they offer a complimentary shuttle service to the main strip as well as a couple other places within the park. Food at the resort was also great. Definitely will book again if I'm ever in Kenting again.

訂3天2夜的海悅套房，在隔天清晨5點多6點一直有怪聲來自天花板，吵得我們2無法睡。有跟櫃台反應，後來講人入房檢修說是頂樓有猴子在跑，但男友稱那應該不是野生動物的腳步聲，而是可能管路的問題。櫃檯當下有反應可換房，但不會是在3樓是2樓同房型，或是沒浴缸在室內，換言之就是view 沒那麼好或非同等房，另一半於是說: 先別換。於是，當晚我們試過各種方式，結果當我們把浴室的冷熱水開關關掉，而非只非只是關中間總控後，聲音...就沒了!! 所以.. 大致上什麼都是好的體驗，但就是第一晚到凌晨有讓我崩潰....

房間有蟑螂

入住的是花園景觀房，房間內有一股濃烈的蟑螂味，我本身非常怕蟑螂對於那種味道非常敏感，後來到了將近11點多，我正看著電視餘光撇到床頭桌有一張蟑螂，嚇死人！這才無法接受的像飯店反應，飯店人員馬上來房間看，並說要幫我們換到乾淨的房間。
住過這麼多飯店，還真的是第一次住到有蟑螂味跟出現蟑螂的，對於華泰這個價位真的是滿掉下巴的。

這次跟家人一起入住華泰瑞苑,飯店每個人都很友善,也給我們很大的幫忙,餐飲方面都很好吃,入住期間遇到的泳池救生員非常的開朗,感覺跟以前有些不同,很棒~~~

尚有改善空間

1.停車場無規劃親子車位！停車後前往大廳也無方便的無障礙通道；另外前往草皮與游泳池的通道，僅前段有斜坡，後續只有階梯可走！
對於帶嬰兒的家長不夠方便。
（或許是飯店經營的客群不是家庭客！對這方面的設施不夠完善。）
2.退房時無明確的指引，房客你看我、我看你；誰先誰後自己喬。
3.飯店地理位置很好，喜歡隱密與寧靜的人，這裡值得來住。
