The view is the only good thing about this place—absolutely stunning.

Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The room was nothing like the photos—very misleading. The bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, had mold, and smelled off. To top it off, we found a bag of trash under the sink that clearly wasn’t ours.

The internet was unreliable, and when we checked the router, we discovered the cables had been chewed—possibly by a mouse. The Wi-Fi password on the info sheet was also incorrect, so we had to check the back of the router just to connect.

Service was poor overall, and the condition of the room was unacceptable. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Everything was excellent especially the receptionists and the staff who are very helpful, accomodating and warm.

Please fix the internet issues as we didnt have a stable connection throughout our stay. Even our tv cant be used because of poor connection.

The rooms are great, I booked 2 rooms with me and fiancée then with my family for the other room. 1 queen bed room and 2 double bed room. A really cozy room with good running AC in both room.
My main issue was the internet sometimes failing from time to time. The area is beautiful to view.
Besides the beautiful view, the area made it hard to get service sometimes which is another issue.

The area is accessible to local restaurants. There was no Internet connection and no hot water for shower; the bathroom door was broken which could pose a safety hazard, and the AC was blowing only fan air. These matters were brought to the front desk but only the AC issue was addressed. At checkout, they charged us for a small face towel that was allegedly lost. We had it deducted from the deposit but they gave us less than what should be refunded to us. We complained because the math was incorrect and they gave us back the entire deposit. I told the front desk that there was no Internet at all and no hot water for the shower and they still want to charge us for a lost small towel. I do not recommend staying at Crosswinds because guests will be out of touch from the outside world without the Internet. There was also no telephone or Internet at our room. The hallways and the furniture were dark.

The place is isolated and there is absolutely nothing near walking distance. They tried to charge us 5000 pesos ($100 USD) just to get to the airport. Transportation is definitely a limitation. If you don't mind spending $100 USD for transportation one way anywhere, then go ahead and book your stay. We got lucky and ended up hitchhiking to the airport in a really nice bus (btw the bus driver offered us a ride for FREE, but we ended up giving him about $50 for gas). Other than that, the place is nice, clean, and calm.

There' nothing not to like,except for the pool. It would have been nicer if there's an indoor pool. So that rain or shine your guests would have enjoyed the pool. Property is awesome if u r going for retreat or soul searching or something that is with the nature . But if u r here for the taal its quite far from the place .. but the staff are very accommodating.. helpful and courteous.. they have a shuttle that can take to your hotel.. i would recommend this place and will be back for sure

My wife and I are frequent travellers, staying in several hotels here and abroad. We stayed at Crosswinds 5 years ago and found it satisfactory, the reason why we booked a 2-night stay last August 24 - 26, 2019. We stayed in Room K, 3rd Floor of Crosswinds. The first night was uneventful. The following day, August 25, 2019, at around 8 o'clock in the morning, I took a shower and noticed that the shower curtain is short and does not reach the \"zocalo\", such that water from the shower dripped and flowed to the bathroom center. Once done, I wore the hotel slippers and steppin out of the bathroom, I slipped and flipped over the floor with a loud thud. My body (my left arm, left shoulder and left hip) hit the floor. Because of shock, surprise and pain, I couldn't stand and called out to my wife. She rushed to me and slowly brought me up to the bed. After resting a few minutes, we went to the dining area to have breakfast, deciding right there and then to cut short our vacation. We checked out immediately thereafter, and told the front office staff that we'd be forfeiting the rest of our reservation. My wife informed the staff the reason for our early check-out - my slipping and falling on the floor because of the wet slippers and flooring. She advised the staff to inform the housekeeping about the short shower curtain.

i have stayed here countless times bec of the great service & room conditions...sadly this time i the facility was lacking:
1) room intercom didnt work
2) door knob for d bedroom pulled out when i opened the door from the inside
3) since there were 3 of us in the 1br unit, there were only 2 bath towels
no one came to fix d intercom, nor fix the door knob, nor housekeeping come to bring an extra bath towel
4) the bfast buffet has terrible choices....they dont even offer the usual filipino bfast meats like longganiza, tapa, tocino, corned beef - not even 1 of the meats...
frustrating stay this time to say the least

The Swiss Experience

I am fully satisfied with the cleanliness of the suite. It was cold and raining when we stayed at the resort so we were literally enveloped by clouds as we walk the rolling hills of this beautiful resort. I love the overall ambiance of the resort because of the magnificent rows of pine trees which dominated the place. I love pine trees as they remind me of Christmas. Speaking of which, they have what they call their Christmas Village and Santa Home which we also visited. I enjoyed the swiss inspired houses as we toured the resort. Overall, it is actually one of my memorable get aways in Tagaytay with my family. I highly recommend this resort if you love nature and if you like to have an experience of swiss like living. We will definitely revisit Crosswinds Resort Suites.

Nice view. Spacious and clean rooms complete with dining and cooking facilities. Comfortable bed and pillows. Accomodating staff. Our family enjoyed our overnight stay in 2 studio type and 1 BR rooms except for the outdoor pool which is far from the bldg and because it was raining the changing room was soiled. But over all, the place is nice, very tranquil and highly recommended if you want to rest and relax away from the city.

Crosswind Resorts typifies the word staycation. Once you're inside the suite, you just want to stay there to relax and just occasionally go out to savor the smell of the pine trees that abounds the village. Truly worth considering reason why we keep on coming back.

One of the worse breakfast buffet's I have ever experienced. It was all Filipino food and no western items except the scrambled eggs and toast. OJ was powdered (Tang). I'm American and even my Filipina wife thought it was bad. However, the staff was attentive, friendly and very accommodating. Stayed two nights, but after eating at the breakfast buffet the first day, we went to Antinio's for a excellent breakfast the second morning.

The people here are very accommodating, they would even greet us whenever we bumped into them. The place is really pleasant; full of pine trees that makes the ambiance so relaxing which really defines the word \"getaway\" if you got sick of the pollution and crowd in the city. The suite we stayed at is really spacious, even had its own kitchen that has a microwave, refrigerator and stove where you can cook your own food. The scenery from the balcony may not be the typical Taal Lake, but the view of the property with the greeneries makes it as good as the former. Overall, our stay in this place did not disappoint and is really great.

I loved the view of mountains and trees from our room. We were booked on a high floor. A little downside though was the noise of passing motorists from the road. The studio room was spacious enough for us couple and our 18 year old son. The bed configuration would have been more comfortable if there was at least 1 double bed for us couple. There were 2 extrawide twin beds (48inx75in) in the room. I love that the room has a small kitchen and gives an option for simple cooking. The room package came with breakfast for two. I was delighted that the 3rd person's (me) breakfast fee was waived given that I have a vegan diet and could not eat much from the breakfast menu. Overall Crosswinds was a wonderful place for a quick R&R and value for money.

Made me feel like I was in Europe - especially with the beautiful , cool and quiet ambiance of the place. I loved the pine trees and the lush greenery that enveloped the surroundings. The mist and foggy background in the mornings added to the splendour of the rising sun.
I wish we could have extended our stay.

Amazing studio units but 1BR too small

our stay was very amazing & we enjoyed the biew. we have been to tagaytay many times but this is the only time we discovered your place. But the 1 BR we booked was not the one we expected different from the picture, it was very small. Actually i booked for 3 rooms all studio type and was great & exceeded our expectation. But the 1BR was dissapointing to my guests.

Super expensive with no real justification for the price. I rented a 3-bedroom suite that sleeps six, but it only two coffee cups and not much more instant coffee. And of the six people, we only were given breakfast for four! The toilet leaked, soaking the bathroom floor and the one bath mat. The bedroom door handle came off in my hand and I could see where it had been repaired before, which means that they knew there was a previous problem but didn’t fix it correctly. The staff was friendly but ineffective - when I asked for more coffee cups and coffee at 6am, it wasn’t delivered until after 9!

In the online site, they said it’s Mountain View, that’s why we booked for the superior suite. But when we got inside the room, no Mountain View. Also the breakfast was buffet but we were told we cannot eat yet because it’s full although we are just 2 persons but we decided to check anyway, there were still available tables. The ambiance of the place is really superb though.

Crosswinds always brings lovely memories

We have stayed in Crosswinds more than three times and each stay is filled with lovely memories and that's why when my family thinks of happiness and comfort, we picture Crosswinds.
We love the serene area with thousands of pine trees, the rooms especially the suite room, the buffet breakfast and the marmalade and the facilities.
I personally leave the place always inspired and energized to do more in life.

Been here 4 years ago. Our first visit here captivates me. The green pine trees, the cool weather, the serenity and tranquility of the place made me come back just this weekend. Though there is a very bad weather, it didn't stop us from this trip. Thank God we proceeded amidst the rain.

The place is still amazing. The units are spacious and the smell of the pillows and sheets are good. We reserved a 2 one BR unit. Just have this some letdowns, door locks can't be open on our arrival, bidet on one CR was leaking and shower on one of the CRs on the unit (there are 2 CRs anyway in one unit) has not hot water.

Food is good. Didn't expect that it was a buffet and it is included in the room price.

Hope that they will maintain this place well. It is a very promising land.

I'm sure to come back here.
