Great central location close to Ayala Mall, plenty of places to eat and shops. If you are going to spend a few days in Tagaytay this is a great place to stay.

We liked how central everything felt. Sober was a short taxi away and many sights were close. Good location and great staff.

The follow through with the staff on room cleanliness need improvement. The first room we were put in was dusty and smelled mildly of mildew, the sheets were not clean either and my wife had an asthma attack sure to the mold and dust. Great stay in Tagaytay

We had a great time at Quest Hotel. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

It looks like a new hotel in terms of cleanliness and the staff are very helpful.

The Baker J is a plus as they serve really good food and pastries.

And it helps a lot that the two bigger malls in Tagaytay are surrounding the hotel

5th stay but not so good this time

We always stay here when we have to stay in Tagaytay because of comfort and style. We requested for a quiet part of hotel but there was frequent barking and noisy tricycles, unlike our past stays. Also, the aircon stops blowing cold air intermittently, causing us to wake up every time. Another \"frustration\" was the strong unpleasant smell at the lobby and all over the room itself, unlike the clean smell of a well maintained hotel before. Also due to the heat, i transferred to the sofa and had a rhinitis attack. Many spots showing wear and dirt/mold in the bath area mostly. Time to shape up!

Halfway House Getaway for family of 4

Quick stay and halfway house for a wedding event. We booked Quest Hotel Tagaytay because of its convenient location next to malls and 2 major routes to Tagaytay and back to Manila. We got in at 10am but the one man front desk was able to quickly facilitate our check-in. They also took and acted on my request for 1 bedroom to have 2 single beds for our grown-up children. Service is great with the hotel despite some amenities getting a bit old and tired such as the towels.

Breakfast operated by Baker J’s is so-so. Don’t get fooled by the special beef tapa.

Hotel needs to put-up blackout curtains which cover the fill windows instead of roller shades which has gaps that lets the the sunrise come-in and wake you up at 6:00am.

Choose the mall facing rooms so you won’t hear the roosters in the small barrio across the Serin Rd.

Overall, great experience with staff and happy without stay!

We had a wonderful visit here with a 17 night stay. I can't say enough good things about our trip. Everyone was awesome and we were treated so well. the room was always clean, the food was great. I had problems with an allergy and they even used a different soap on all our sheets because of it. Looking forward to staying here again

For a quick overnight stay at the discounted rate we paid it was worth it. Friendly staff, clean grounds, Cafe J (lobby cafe) had good food and friendly staff. Balony and mini fridge was a plus.
Cons: shower water temperature is changes while using it. Mattress - while I slept comfortability it was a little uneven/lumpy. Bathroom is tight to move around. Sliding door for balcony could not lock (but they have a safe albiet low batt). The friendly front desk clerk started to speak to me in tagalog despite starting our conversation in english and handing her my US passport and me answering in english at all times. I had to say english po for the employee to revert back to englsih. I'm a US citizen with no filipino accent and while I may look filipino I'm not.

High quality for a reasonable price.

Ideal location for the centre of the town and about a 15 minute walk to the viewpoint for Lake Taal and the Taal volcano. Staff were very attentive, ultra polite. It was not busy during the duration of my stay but I do wonder how the very small cafe would cope at busier times.

I don’t want to be ‘that’ tourist. And debated writing a review. But feel it’s only fair for other travellers. I booked to stay here for 3 nights and checked out a night early as I’d had enough. Note- this was EASILY the most expensive hotel I’ve stayed at so checking out early had big financial implications. They took a £40 deposit at check in which I disputed as I said I didn’t see why I couldn’t leave a card behind the till rather than have a huge amount of money leave my account. They assured me it was ‘floating’ and nothing would leave my account. I argued the opposite but to no avail. Begrudgingly paid and oh look- upon check out- not seeing my deposit back for another 2-3months!
Room smelled of mould but couldn’t be bothered to argue. None of the staff were particularly forthcoming with recommendations of what to do/ where to go. Bar one - Justin- who is responsible for the few stars I have given this place. Key card didn’t work once. Had to keep going downstairs to reset. Just not a good experience. They apologised and gave me a croissant before I left as an apology but the reality is - I doubt I’ll see that money back but will post here if it comes through!

Despite the fact we were there due to my father being in the hospital, discovering this gem within a stone's throw away made the ordeal less stressful & taxiing.

The staff were wonderful and the amenities were on par for Western accommodations. The grandkids and us adults were able to still explore and enjoy our vacation, but still be nearby our dad to take care of him.

Hungry but food was a satisfaction.

The staff were overwhlemed by the influx of guests last sunday who are to have their breakfast, such that nobody was manning those who are supposed to line up, thus leaving us the impression that there was no system in check. It took us almost an hour for the food to be served from the time we placed our orders.

Great stay at this comfortable and clean hotel.
Very short walk to the two neighbouring malls and dozens of restaurants.
Central to Skyranch fun park also.
Breakfast is set menu, not buffet, and could definitely be better organised, slow service and cold food one day, fast service and hot food the next.
Be ready for sizeable security deposit at check in, I had to leave 3,500 Peso for three nights.
Overall a nice modern, clean hotel with with friendly helpful staff.

The bathroom is very small. It could have been designed better. The bathroom drain did not flow properly. Even if we turned off the ac, it still continued its operation and was blowing directly towards the bed and the small sitting area. Fortunately, we only stayed one night. Overall, the staff was courteous.

Bathroom smelled.

Layout of bathroom was very bad. You have to enter the shower before you can access the toilet bowl because the door is in the way.

The coffee sachets tasted awful.

The telephone can be used only by going through the front desk. There was no room-to-room calls.

This is a nice hotel. The restaurant was closed at the time we made our stay, so some of my VIP benefits didn't apply. There is a P1500 deposit per night you stay, FYI. With no restaurant and no in-room purchasable snacks, I am not sure why the hotel required this deposit.
I booked the 1-bedroom suite to ensure we got the space needed. Other reviews said the door to their CR wasn't big enough to enter the CR appropriately. In the suite, there is plenty of room. There is a standing shower and a separate tub, if you want to relax. The shower did provide adequate heat and met requirements for an enjoyable experience. The toiletries did appear to be naturally based.
Internet is available. But, was very slow at times. It did appear that there was a 15mb cap per room. No limit on devices connecting, but the more devices, the slower the internet allotted.
The bed was comfortable. The sofa in the gathering area folded out into a bed as well. So there was plenty of space to fit everyone in our family.
There is an in-room drop safe that looks big enough to store a laptop and other gadgets. And power outlets everywhere you need them.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of 2 malls.
With the level of service and over-all quality of stay, I would definitely stay here again.

Restaurant should close!!

The staff at the front desk were nice. The only thing I had a problem with was their restaurant. They served me food wherein I ate kitchen scrub with my food. So gross!
