Very convenient location, close to central city. Pasar Kranggan, the market is just a block away, lots of traditional delicious food. Room was very small. Shower was enough. Needs good ventilation. Nice place to meet near the lobby. Overall it's ok for a short stay. Close to restaurants and coffee shops.

Great value for money

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, wifi and breakfast were included and the staff were great. My only complaint would be the shower was a little dirty and smelt a bit, but for the price it really is great value for money.

Won't stay again

I was on family vacation in Java , rooms are very small, but staff is excellent. Breakfast is first come first serve basis, & is not good . Buoyed clean. Doesn't even have basic amenities like refrigerator, phone or microwave available.

Just what we expected

The room was just what you expect from a chain like this, new, clean and comfortable, not huge but big enough for the 2 of us for a few days. Staff were all friendly and helpful, and the included Indonesian style breakfast was very tasty. It is located a short walk from the centre but safe and lots of interesting food stalls on the way at night.

1. Bedroom has no wardrobe to hang and keep cloths etc.
2. Small room hard for muslims to perform prayer.
3. Transparent door and no lock at bathroom door makes a feeling of uncomfortable if the companion is not wife or husband.
4. Kettle jug is not provided.

Great value hotel

Good location and clean hotel. We stayed 2 nights in this hotel on our first visit in Jogja. A room definitely can occupy 2 adults and 2 children in a comfort way. The staffs are helpful and friendly. Price is relatively low. Definitely will return again.

Excellent room at the centre of downtown Jogja!

We love the room - well-maintained, comfortable bed, clean sheets & pillows, extra sofa bed, free-flow of mineral water provided, cable tv with several movies channels, NatGeo channel & many more, in-room safe, rain shower, and daily breakfast all included at a very reasonable rate!
We highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Jogjakarta.

A simple hotel with bare minimum facility

If you are looking for something fanciful, this is not the hotel for you. The room come with bed and a sofa bed that can accommodate a 3rd person (make sure this person is nothing more than medium size). It comes with an attached bathroom as well. The drawback was it doesn't hv a woredrobe or even a simple pole to hang your clothes. And all extra things you require, e.g. Extra pillow, towel cost money.

They provide very simple breakfast that's good for budget hotel. On the whole, it's clean and basic.

Clean and Comfortable

My fiance and I stayed here for several nights in April 2014. The hotel is very clean and well taken care of. Rooms are very comfortable and provide all the essentials. The only thing we had trouble with at this hotel was finding a place to eat. There is a cafe in the lobby but it was a bit pricey for our budget. There is a McDonalds and KFC around the corner and down the street, about a 10 minute walk. We usually found ourselves going there for lunch and getting something extra to eat later in the night when it was too dark out and too much traffic to make walking that far comfortable. Overall this hotel was great and was easy to do our tours from. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere with very helpful staff.

Great budget Hotel

My husband and I loved Pop hotel !!

It was not luxurious but had everything we needed . The room was very clean and spacious.

With the bright colors and the design it felt like we were in a children hotel but it was fun.

The location was perfect . Close enough to the Main Street ( 20 minutes walk ) but far enough that it wasn't too noisy.

It is a great budget hotel !

its a great experience to travel to jogja. the main reason we travel to Yogyakarta is because of t
the Borobudur and Prambanan. we went there by joining the hotel arranged day tour. its really enjoyable and value for money!

POP! Hotel my favorite budget hotel in Java

As a backpacker who can sleep in some pretty rough conditions I find it comforting to occasionally stay in a decent, and cheerful hotel that has fluffy pillows and bright clean sheets. POP! Hotel fits that bill. The staff here are Great, really friendly and helpful with all my questions about places and how to find a bus etc and just overall cheerful folks. The have decent Wi-Fi. The hotel itself is not exactly near Yogyakarta's main street of Maliboro and the train station (about 1 1/2 kilometers from the train station). However the walk, or 15000 rupee rickshaw ride to those places is pleasant.
I enjoyed my stay.

Smallish but great value for the money

The hotel is a bit away from the main tourist areas, but for some folks that may be appealing. In any case, Yogyakarta is not a very large town, so it's easy enough to get around either way.
The hotel is very clean and is excellent value for the money, knowing that the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, there's cable tv and great airconditioning, plus a complimentary breakfast in the morning.
The only negative would be the size of the room - it's very minimal, and specifically the bathroom design is awkward with the shower and toilet all in one.

Affordable and new

The overall hotel is new, clean and spacious but the bathrooms can do with a bit more scrub. There's nothing much to see nearby except Tugu monument, so you have to walk a bit (15-20mins) to Malioboro where most of the shops, eateries are located.

Nice place

Modern hotel, relatively new located in a good location. The only negative (and it's minor) is that they blast pop music in the lobby. I stayed on the second floor and could hear it if I had the A/C turned down.

日本よりジャカルタ経由でジョグジャに入りました。夜の10時にホテルへＩＮしましたが、ホテルのスタッフの対応もよく、女で1人の宿泊でしたが安心して泊まることが出来ました。宿泊代金もお手頃で学生や出張者など活動派の方には寝に帰るだけという方には良いかと思います。

Leuk hotel, maar wel rumoerig.

Het hotel was schoon maar echt niet rustig. Wij hadden onze kamer aan de begane grond en er was geen afscheiding tussen de algemene ruimte van het hotel en de gang met de kamers. Op deze manier kon je in je kamer alle geluiden van in de lobby meepikken en ook de muziek van de lobby kon je in de kamer horen. Ook ging 's ochtends vroeg (5:30 -06:00) het brandalarm een paar keer af zonder dat iemand hem uit ging zetten of er iets serieus aan de hand was. Ook werden wij niet meedegedeeld over het alarm, zeker dat wij de eerste keer al op het punt stonden de kamer te verlaten. Toen het zich herhaalde zijn wij toch maar in de kamer gebleven. Verder stonken de badkamers van sommigen van onze groep. Voor de rest was het hotel wel schoon en het personeel zeer behulpzaam. Ze hebben ons enorm veel geholpen met verschillende zaken regelen en telefoontjes te plegen. Het restaurant van het hotel was ook heel fijn en het eten ook wel lekker.

Bon hotel propre et bien situé

Petit déjeuner style indonésien mais médiocre. Tout le reste était parfait. Bejak à l'entrée de l'hotel vous permettant de vous déplacer. Hotel non loin du centre ville (en marchant un peu).Hotel un peu cher pour le pays. Moyen de trouver moins cher ailleurs en marchant sur l'avenue Malioboro.
