Beautiful building, very nice room. Did request and pay for a superior room with double bed but they gave us one with two singles. They changed this though once I showed email confirmation. No English channels on TV at all despite them having Polish, French and Italian. Everything clean and comfortable. Not a lot to do in local area except look at buildings and walk around, but a quaint little town.

It’s a little bit difficult to find the hotel’s location . The hotel itself located in historic building, so there is no air conditioner in the rooms. Although I stayed in the hotel in the middle of September the rooms were too warm inside . They offer a breakfast for 16.99 euros which I think is a little overpriced for this little town. There are a lot of bakeries around the place and a grocery store which are open at 6-7 am and you can buy the freshest pastries, bread , etc. the hotel itself has a signs of aging, so the cosmetic make up would be a plus. They provide a welcome complimentary fruits, water and ice cream at front desk but there is no coffee or tea maker machine in the room. I might stay in this hotel in the future but probably think about better place to stay for this money,

The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The only criticism we have is of the way the bed was arranged against a sloping wall - if you wanted to sit up you had to crick your neck forward. This was very uncomfortable and when we forgot we banged our heads on the slope! Ridiculous arrangement, given that the other walls in the room available for a bed were perfectly perpendicular!

Unfortunately the hotel is back dated in general furniture. Rooms feel old with carpet and bathroom stinks from mound which impacts the entire room. This has been in 2 rooms, not just one exception.
The hotels response on issues very poor, excusing that specific staff is not available.

The hotel is within the town walls and within walking distance of restaurants, cafes and markets. The area is quiet and you are in a living medieval town. You can hear the church bells ring to the time and there lots of parks and walking areas and local events. Overall a nice area to spend a few days and supplement with some hiking-biking. The train station (A 20 min walk) allows you to easily get to Munich and Stuttgart and by extension the rest of Germany.
The hotel staff are helpful and knowledgeable, the rooms are clean and quiet. The hotel building is modern but within a historic building and district so has to juggle that constraint but then why go to a historic town?

Excellent location, good parking, very clean and spacious room. The front desk personnel were helpful. The only negative was the price of the breakfast..almost 17 euro each was way too much. We had breakfast at every hotel we stayed at, and this one was almost identical to all others, except the price. Not worth it, go somewhere else..many places close by.

Don't expect a good night sleep in summer.

This hotel claims to be 4* which translates to superior comfort. Comfort can't be achieved when the room is as hot as the dessert! There is no Air conditioning and not even a fan which is even more annoying!
You can try having the window open but you will be kept awake by the towns bells every hour.

Yes the hotel is clean, amazing location, nice looking and good staff but it not should be charging what it does and claiming 4 stars when it is unable to provide a good night sleep.

PUT SOME GOOD FANS IN YOUR ROOMS NH!

This is a very nice hotel in a beautiful setting. We were trying to escape the heat and forthcoming thunderstorms at a music festival and were happy to find this place. It was very hot and as many Americans will complain, we wished they had some sort of air conditioning or at least a fan in the rooms. Otherwise, our stay was excellent. Our primary complaint is that despite the food being amazing in the bar (plus the banana wheat beer is AMAZING), the service was awful. It wasn't really the servers' fault, they were extremely understaffed and the bar was full by the time we left. We waited probably 30 minutes for our bill after asking twice for it. That said, the food was great and we were grateful to get out of the rain. Nice stay and worth the cost.

With the SatNav found the underground car park easily enough. Not sure we could have done without it.
An old Monastery, and very large room.
We didn't eat there at night, or have breakfast, so made do in the morning with a coffee from the machine. Breakfast was expensive.
Nordlingen's lovely, and we walked around most of it in no time. This has to be the best hotel in Nordlingen.

Stay at NH Klosterle, Nordlingen.

We had a very relaxing couple of days at NH Klosterle. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and spoke very good English to make up for our lack of German. Coffee was available from the Bar and we took it to our room. The room was clean and equipped with a full bar and fridge. Television was easy to operate and we could get English programmes and news through the Sky connection. Bathroom impeccably clean and well functioning. Attended Mass at Neresheim Abbey on Sunday morning and returned again in the afternoon for a concert given by the Choir from Peterborough Cathedral, England, which was amazing. Back to the hotel to freshen up and then we headed out to see Nordlingen on Saturday evening and have dinner in one of the many restaurants. But a thunder and lightning storm drove us back to the Hotel and we had a delicious meal in the restaurant before heading out again for an evening stroll around Nordlingen to see and take pictures of the many fine historic buildings in the town.

This hotel was surprisingly clean and modern for being located conveniently within the walls of Nordlingen. The room was a little dark, but everything within was great. My only complaint is that parking was difficult to find and the hotel's underground parking structure was difficult to navigate, but half of that is an issue with driving in a medieval town. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Nordlingen.

We booked this hotel for an overnight stop and to explore the town of Noerdlingen. Great location, within the medieval walls. Ideal base for a walking tour of the town. Room was comfortable, breakfast was fine. Car parking under the hotel which is really convenient and not prohibitively expensive. (Bit tricky to find the entrance in the narrow streets.) Helpful front desk.

This hotel and the township of Nordlingen is a great location from which to see many of the sights along the romantic road. We parked up our car for Euro 8.50 per day under the hotel and took the train to Munich so that we did not have the worry of a car in the middle of that very big city.

Loved this hotel. Best place we stayed on our Romantic Road trip. Everything was first class. Big, nice rooms and bathrooms that are more like US standards than European. They even had a well stocked mini bar! Location and parking were both excellent.
The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English.
The only con, if it was one, was that the breakfast was expensive, although I thought it was worth it. It was a very big and excellent buffet that had hot food. There was eggs, bacon, hot sausage and lots of fresh food.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very helpful staff - we were only there for 1 night and they provided a re-usable 90-minute parking permit, so we didn't have to worry about the car early in the morning.

Inside the city walls

This was great hotel inside the city walls of Nordlingen. I loved how we could walk out out of the hotel and within in minutes be in the Market place with shops and food. The hotel and room was clean, modern and comfortable. The only hard part was squeezing into the public parking under the hotel. However, that is just the norm for all the parking garages we saw on our trip. We chose to walk outside to the market for breakfast and was pleased to see the bakeries were opened early.

From the first moment of walking into reception we felt valued. The staff member who checked us in (Andrea) was so lovely. Parking was directly under the hotel with a lift straight up to our floor, so no dragging our suitcases down the street.
Located within the town walls of Nordlingen, this hotel ticked all the boxes for us. We had dinner in the restaurant which was not overly expensive and was utterly delicious. The staff in the restaurant were all very friendly and efficient. Other staff that we encountered at reception went out of their way for us.
Our room was spacious and very comfortable.
I wish we had been able to stay longer!

Easy to tell what time it is

I remember 2 issues: the pillows are very, very flat. It would have been better if I had requested additional pillows. My fault. The other thing is that in Nordlingen, Germany, they have a church that rings the time every quarter of an hour. 1 chime for quarter after, etc, and then full chimes for the hour (lots of dings and dongs plus the hours). This is a 24 hour clock and I was awakened many of the quarter-hours. So, I can recommend this hotel if it is not summer (no air conditioning) and you can close the windows or if you are able to filter out the church bells. The town is very, very pretty, and to let this problem stop you from visiting or using the hotel is silly. Just be prepared. We were not.

The hotel is very nice located and clean. The negative part is that the internet access is in my opinion very expensive. The cheapest is approx. 10 Euro per 24h. WIFI in the lobby is free but you need a new passowrd every 30 minutes. That made me rate the comfort of the room to only a 3.

Fabulous location - Luxurious room

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and disappointed we were only spending one night there! We were on a driving holiday along the \"Romantische Strasse\" and this hotel was one of the best.

The rooms were very large with a sofa and plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was also huge and spotlessly clean.It was nice a bright with hairdryer and magnifying mirrors (surprised me how few hotels have these!). I liked the separate room for toilet and Bidet.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that. The only issue was internet was not free in the rooms it was rather pricey at 12 euros for one day. The parking was reasonable at 8 euros per day considering parking is at a premium in the tiny walled town of Nordlingen.

An excellent hotel that I have happily given full marks - I would recommend it to anyone who asks and would return if we passed that way again.

We were celebrating our 50th weding anniversary traveling through southern Germany and Paris. On a Sunday afternoon we went out on the patio to enjoy a bottle of Chanpagne. The hotel chef and his wife were there and after learning the purpose of our trip suprised us with sumptuous snacks. This exemplifies the service of this hotel and it's staff.

中世の修道院をリノベした建物ならではの雰囲気満載の宿でした。窓から見える景色も歴史の中に溶け込んだような錯覚があり楽しめました。

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und auch direkt in der Altstadt gelegen, ist das Hotel der perfekte Ort, wenn man vor allem in Nördlingen unterwegs ist. Das Personal war auch, egal ob an der Rezeption oder im Frühstückssaal sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Komme gerne wieder!

Die Lage und die Parkmöglichkeit sind die beiden Stärken des Hotels. Auch der Service ist zufriedenstellend. Das Frühstück hingegen war enttäuschend spärlich. Die Hygiene ist auch eher mäßig (Socken von Vorgängern, Flecken auf dem Teppich). Das Free WiFi ist ein Glücksspiel, bei mir war es häufig verfügbar, einige meiner Gruppe könnten aber kaum bis gar keine Verbindung herstellen.

チェックインの際、フロントにいた若い金髪の女性スタッフの対応が酷かったです。

ホテルに着いた時にフロントに誰もいなかったので声をかけると女性スタッフがイライラしながら奥から出てきました。
チェックインのために名前を聞かれて答えると、彼女は不機嫌だったのか英語が聞き取れなかったのか「ハァ？」という反応。
モニターを見るため受付の場所を奥側促す際には顎でクイっと指示。
書類に記入が終わったらカードキーを渡され、朝食などの説明もなくさっさと奥に行ってしまいました。
ホテルのフロントでこんな失礼な対応されたの初めてで吃驚。

部屋は広く冷蔵庫やバスタブもあった点は良かったですが、机には傷、椅子の座る部分はボロボロになっていて全体的に設備の古さが気になりました。

朝食時は会場についても特にスタッフは宿泊客に挨拶や案内もしないし、空になっていた水はなかなか補充されないし、りんごジュースは水で薄めているような薄さで微妙。

唯一の良い点は街の中心部にあるため観光には便利ことくらいかな。

Leider sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel bzgl Einrichtung. Die Lage ist schön zentral, um Nördlingen zu erkunden.
Das Frühstück war für den Preis eher enttäuschend.
Nachts war ein Polizeieinsatz im Hotel aufgrund Drogenkonsums und Streitereien in einem der Zimmer - sehr unschön!

Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt - das ist wunderbar. Leider muss der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage komplett bezahlt werden - Vergünstigungen als Gast des Hauses gibt es nicht :(
Das Personal am Empfang ist zum größten Teil - bis auf eine Ausnahme - sehr freundlich.
Leider war es in unserem Zimmer sehr kalt und das Frühstück war auch nicht hervorragend sondern \"OK\".
