The JUFA hotel is very convenient for access into Nördlingen Aldstat. Evening meal was a buffet affair that had to be prebooked, with attendance best not left much after 6.00 PM start. There are good other eating-out options close by. Parking is easy on site, in a quiet and seemingly safe location. Sadly, my room key safe didn’t work, and the bathroom tiles, loo and shower could benefit from a makeover. But otherwise the hotel was just right for my 2-night stay. Staff were most friendly and obliging.👍👍

Strange service hotel.

After 10 o'clock, you can die as no one helps you anymore, and it is intended to be a family hotel . The children fell asleep in the room and because we did not have access to the hotel and the hotline told us to wake them up 😉 we slept in the car.

Great hotel but parking is very limited (although there is a free city parking lot a block away) and the pillows were the most uncomfortable I have ever had (like trying to sleep on a towel; my neck was killing me the next day).

After 7 hours of train journey, finally Checked in really late right before closing at 10pm. So glad to be greeted by the Friendly receptionist who knew we’re the last people to arrive.
I’ve been wanting to stay at this JUFA for over 5 years now! Am really happy to have made it after all these longing years! Indeed, really modern facility which is located just by the edge of this historical old town. Facility is well maintained. Although we were put in the penthouse style, we still liked it very much. Perhaps I would request to be put on the lower floor without needing to climb up many steps in order to sleep since I’m a “senior” now. LOL! Loved the electrically adjustable sky window. It’d have been great if it were a starry night. But there was lightening and rain.
But I’ll certainly come again in this middle of German JUFA! Breakfast was opulent and fantastic. Highly recommended.

The place is very close to the city centre. So it will be very convenient to people wanting to visit the ancient city of Nordlingen. Additionally, if you are traveling with family, they have lot of facilities to keep your children engaged. A very good environment, liked the hotel

Decent stay in lovely town.

Checking in was okay, though the front desk clerks were not really approachable. The directions to the room were interesting but we were able to find it after a bit. Booked a room for two people, only had one towel (and one plastic cup) so for a 4 star hotel the amenities were rather lacking. Additionally, a large amount of people were checking in at the same time (a tour bus) and it did not appear as if they accounted for the increase in numbers at the front desk. May have contributed to the lack of approachness of the front desk clerk. The breakfast was good though and parking was convenient.

The hotel is located on the edge of nordlingen, next to the wall. The hotel is popular with summer camp kids so can get noisy. Overall a good hotel if travelling to fussen to through to Munich.

We learned some things during our arrival that were not clear while booking. JUFA Hotels is a chain in Germany, focused on family visits. The hotel is Space and Medieval themed. It would be a good place for a young family, but it felt awkward and uncomfortable for us. Wifi is only in the lobby.

The location was great, less than 10 minutes walking into the city centre.

Unfortunately, we found some black mould in the shower, which lead us to wonder what else had not been cleaned properly.

After using Hotels.com for years, and leaving a review every time, this is the first hotel that I personally would not book again.

Yes we would recommend this hotel but would also explain that it's basic and that's reflected in the price. It feels more like a hostel than a hotel in that way however the kids play room on the ground floor looked good. Unfortunately the morning we were having breakfast a woman was cleaning the room that the food was in and the noise and strong chemical smell was awful, gave us headaches. Told reception but they didn't seem too bothered. You could smell it through the whole ground floor. You pay for what you get!

Very plain but good for one night stay.

This hotel was more like a dorm than a hotel. Room was clean but very plain. Our bedroom was in a loft with bathroom below. For a one night stay with proximity to Old Nordlingen it met our needs. Internet was spotty to poor at best. Breakfast was good. Meats, cheeses, breads, etc. Overall a good value but don't expect any comfort.

Third time staying here to visiting friends. Great hotel with wonderful breakfast and good size rooms. However it was very noisy as the hotel was taken over by a school university type group. Made it a little hard to sleep until they went to sleep. Other than that, a great stay.

Excellent location within 5 minute wal to the city gate and easy access to adjacent restaurants. Room is very average and so are the bed. Basically somewhere you come to to pass out and wake up tomorrow. Having said that, the room is super clean and spacious. Breakfast excellent and plenty of availability. Staff were great and super helpful. No wifi in the room but there is one by the reception. Great place to stay for families with younger kids.

Small town Christmas market experience

JUFA is an acronym for an Austria based chain focused on familes and youth. They offer facilities for those with diabilities. It is a basic, no frills place, but adequate and very reasonably priced. This location, just outside the city walls, offered easy parking. It is a short walk to the town center and a 45 minute stroll around the city wall.

Das Hotel erinnert von der Ausstattung her in der Tat an eine Jugendherberge. Dennoch war unser Aufenthalt wunderbar. Preis/Leistung perfekt!
Es gibt zwei Saunen, der Ruheraum ist klein aber sehr gemütlich. Für die Sauna muss man sich vorher anmelden.
Abends kann man sich nur bis ca. 22, 23 Uhr im Foyer aufhalten um noch gemeinsam etwas zu trinken und zu ratschen.
Das Frühstück war super.

Mein Zimmer hatte den Charme eines Pflegeheim Platzes. Zimmerservice findet nur nach vorheriger Bestellung statt, ein Ausgleich für die nicht erhaltene Leistung erfolgt nicht. Frühstück ist soweit ganz gut, nur kommt das Rührei erst 7:15 Uhr und ist eine breiige Masse aus dem Karton.
Dafür wird ein stolzer Preis verlangt... , zusätzlich auch noch Parkgebühren.

Lite tråkigt rum. Vi fick ett handikapprum. Kallt och trist. Tyvärr kom vi väl fel dag. Det skulle vara någon slags festival (historia) fredag till söndag och vi kom på torsdagen när man höll på att bygga om hela stan. Svårt att hitta någonstans att äta för det var stängt på många ställen.

Questo hotel è perfetto per le famiglie e si trova in una posizione fantastica. La colazione e la cena hanno un'ampia scelta, ma senza esagerare: c'è tutto quello che serve e si trova qualcosa per accontentare tutti, grandi e piccoli. Anche il personale è molto cordiale e sempre pronto ad aiutare.
L'unico aspetto che non mi ha convinto del tutto è il bagno: il WC è in una stanza separata e lo spazio è davvero minimo, quasi un po' claustrofobico. Nonostante ciò, il soggiorno è stato davvero piacevole e consiglio questo hotel a chiunque abbia dei bambini.

Ett rum med två våningar med säng och toalett på olika våning passar inte oss som behöver använda toaletten på natten. Trappan ner från sängen var dessutom väldigt brant. Känns som vi fick det sämsta rummet för att vi utnyttjade en bonusnatt. Har haft samma känsla tidigare när vi använt bonusnätter.

大きなスーパーマーケットはホテルから歩いて約15分。ミネラルウォーターやお土産のチョコレートなどはそこで調達できる。ホテルからシンボルの教会まで歩いて約10分。
ホテルの朝食はおいしい。特にソーセージは美味。

ドアの鍵の開け方が分からずとても苦労しました‥(鍵を指して同じ方向に何度か回すと開きました)
建物自体は新しくて、清潔間があります

ホテルの前にバーのような食べ物屋さんがありましたが、夜9時頃には閉まっていました
周辺の飲食店も早々に閉店している様子でした

駅からは徒歩10～15分ほどです

Auf dem Weg nach München, dieses Hotel als Zwischenstopp gewählt. Insgesamt macht das Hotel eher den Eindruck einer guten Jugendherberge (was jetzt nicht negativ klingen soll). Jedoch strahlen die Bilder mehr Wärme der Zimmer aus, als in Wirklichkeit. War aber alles sauber und Betten auch bequem. Zentral am Stadttor zur Altstadt gelegen.
