Up the hill. Fresh and cool air. Can see the mount Kinabalu.

It is a 2-storeyed with wooden floor foundation upstair. Can hear the moving steps sound of people from upstair especially at night. Will disturb our sleep at mid night.

Jiran sebelah bilik sibuk memasak depan balkoni

Bilik sangat luas. Bilik air yang sangat bersih cuma tak puas mandi. Air shower kecil sgtttt. Parking tak Best sbb sangat terhad. Breakfast ok jg la. Blh diterima tekak. Cuma nak Komplen bilik sebelah nombor H4 boleh pula bawa peralatan memasak masak depan balkoni. Bawa dapur gas pula tu. Siap merayu muka tak tau malu dgn kami suruh diam2 buat2 tidak nampak. Ikutkan hati syaitan sy mau juga report tapi sy malas cari gaduh. Jadi sy report sini seja la. Hahaha. Harap pihak resort peka la dengan aktiviti your customer. Kalau terbakar macam mana?? Kabin kayu lagi. Duina. Terus percutian sy ni kali kurang menggembirakan. Sekian.

The view of Mt Kinabalu was superb and gorgeous. The weather was chilly and refreshing. The resort atmosphere was conducive. Beds were comfortable and hot water shower was great. Location was close to the town centre and food as well as the Kundasang market.

I like the hotel environment but the room conditions is very bad. The bathroom so smelly and we found millipede. I have informed your staff on this . The room we stay C2 the lights broke and was not replaced. Positive note your people was so friendly

Come for the view, not for the stay

Was woken up by chewing noise beside bed around 12.30 midnight. Upon inspection saw a small animal (possible rat) fleeing the scene. Had our room changed after a long negotiation at the reception counter. No one came to our room to inspect the situation or offer us help in moving to a new room, they just stood at the reception office and hurried us to return the old room keycard.

The view and resort was amazing unfortunately the transport service was very poor. During our first day I call and told them that we will arrive with bus at 7:30pm 30 passengers and we require transport to pick up 35 bags to our room.. Unfortunately they told us there was no driver available.. All of us carry the bag all the way to our room .. Pines send 2 person to help with the bag we decide to carry because it will take a longer time for the bag to arrive to our rooms.. We book 9 Deluxe room 4 month earlier which I expect Kinabalu Pines should be ever ready to cater us because it was not a last minute booking.

Nice resort surrounded with pine trees

Stayed here 7 years ago. Seems like they refurbished the resort since last time. Slightly improved but could be better especially on the interiors. Room and toilet was clean. Only complaint was not all windows can be opened to let outside cool air in. There was only one window that can be opened and unfortunately it is next to the bed. Not a good idea to open bedside window as it can get very noisy outside. Breakfast wasn’t perfect but it’s alright. Staffs were all friendly and welcoming. Overall I would still recommend to stay here, they have the best view of mount Kinabalu from this resort.

Very old looking room and furnitures. Terrible breakfast served. No buffet even for fruits. You can only order 1 ala carte breakfast and free flow coffee, tea or orange juice. Others you have to pay for it. Not worth the price paid for the room and the so called ‘including breakfast’.

Room K1 needs closer attention.

It could have been a perfect stay.Location is perfect,you can view Mount Kinabalu from the balcony.Pines everywhere.Nice and clean room.TV has USB port.There's also a little Rabbit House for kids' leisure.There's a stall downstairs selling local snacks.Just takes 5 mins to walk down.Less than 15 mins walk to Pekan Kundasang where there's a 24/7 KFC outlet.But the problems occur in the bathroom.Limited supply of hot water.After like 15 mins the water turns cold in freezing Kundasang.Then the toilet's tank literally takes 15 mins to refill so it takes a while before you can flush again.

Nice view of mount kinabalu but have to walk to the bay. Even request the hotel with good view earlier during booking but given us the room at behind. No point booking early and the breakfast with no choice at all. limited choice to be chosen. better in buffet system.

Satisfied with the location but not the room facilities. Deluxe room floor should have carpet as well and some sort of heater to overcome the overwhelming cold breeze at night. Overall it's a wonderful place to stay with nice view of the Kinabalu Mountain

A very nice and clean hotel with good location and excellent staff. Surrounded with pine trees. The restaurant also serves good food like steamboat. The set Breakfast provided was good too.
One needs to be prepared for the cold weather especially at night because the room has no heater.

No Taxi - prepare to walk to the city centre

Good price and decent room. Stunning view from the hotel reception! No taxi facility, we had to walk to and from the city centre after cycled 190km from KK.... super tired!
