My only gripe is that the drink situation in the buffet area. You have to find a server to get you a Pepsi. They have drink machines but keep them covered. Why? The food is self-service.

The Entertainment Crew was amazing and very entertaining and funny. Food was good. Massage was great.
I expected more though out of a 5 star property. Out bathtub took forever to drain and filled with water quickly. The glass partition in the tub was not sealed at the bottom and water leaked everywhere and soaked the floor. The toilet was broken. Also, I have never stayed at any hotel or resort that did not provide an iron for guests to press their clothes. When you travel, everything gets wrinkled and requires pressing. They did not even have irons to borrow. They expected you to pay €4.50 to have housekeeping press each item for you and to make matters worse, you couldn’t get the items back until the next day. When I complained about it, the response from the woman at reception was that there’s nothing they could do for me. That’s the way Iberostar runs things. Not very accommodating and quite rude.
Most of the staff were friendly including the Entertainment Crew, Bartenders, Housekeeper and restaurant staff. Most of the front desk staff were friendly but there were a couple of them that were unfriendly and sometimes rude.
Also, there was nothing around this resort and taxis were very expensive to get anywhere. A car rental is definitely a must.
I would not stay at this resort again but rather would stay right in Rethymno near the port and beaches.

Magical couples holiday

We absolutely loved our holiday at this fabulous hotel. The service was impeccable. I particularly loved the pilates and yoga class first thing, the swim up bar and sundowners on the stunning terrace bar. Definitely hope to return!

We came for a couples break without our children. The children's entertainment schedule looked good, and all the children were well behaved.

Iberostar Creta Marine

Four of us stayed at the Iberostar Creta Marine. My review is very positive. The rooms were nice and clean with a nice little patio with table and chairs. Our rate included breakfast and dinner. The buffets and service were very good. The pool and area by the ocean were very nice. We took advantage of the great location. We liked that it was very central. A little over an hour from HERAKLION airport. It was another hour from charming Chania. We would definitely recommend Iberostar Creta Marine to other travelers that wish to visit Crete.

A nice family holiday!

Its nice hotel with nice staff. We had two rooms and both ok. Very nice buffet breakfast and dinner. BUt I could wish for a little more greek food at dinner time. Activation/entertainment staff was fantastic. Many funn games through the day and very funny shows at night. Nice for families. We would go back.

smaller less expensive crete hotels can be better

not good value for money, too far away from tourist shopping areas, isolated out on main highway with nowhere to go unless you have a rental car and drive far away to get to tavernas and stores, all inclusive food was very good though with great selection, however did not find the staff in hotel friendly at all

We stayed for 12 nights and found the hotel lovely and clean. Our room was spacious although no view as such. It was comfortable but beds very hard Staff very helpful. Nothing is too much for them. Food was excellent although restaurant very busy. Drinks expensive. Good pool. Recommend highly

My stay at Iberostar was stress free from the moment I arrived. The staff are phenomenal, always working and always freindly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing holiday on beautiful grounds, with attentive staff, and many optinons for things to do.

Lovely hotel, all staff were helpful and friendly.

When we arrived we were offered an upgrade to a suite which was beautiful, we had two bedrooms and bathrooms, a living room and kitchen area with a fridge. We had a balcony across the living room and bedroom with fabulous sea views and were able to watch the most beautiful sunsets. You could also view the spectacular colours from the lounge bar and dining room. The food in the buffet restaurant was fantastic,a delicious selection which varied every mealtime, there were grills cooking fresh fish most evenings, absolutely couldn't fault the quality of the food. Also had a meal in the other two restaurants, both of these are set menu's so there is no choice, it was excellent food again but obviously not to every ones taste. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, without exception. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. We particularly enjoyed the swim-up pool bar. Spent lots of time at the 'beach', this was not actually a beach in both coves, they are man-made inlets from the sea, one is shallow and very warm but rocky and stoney, the other is deeper but does have sand. There is a charge for sun-beds on these two though. The first time I had encountered the germans (and russians) and the early morning sunbed situation but the hotel decided to make all sunbeds unavailable until 8.30am which helped a lot. The animation team were very pleasant and put on shows most evening which are really only suitable for children, apart from two nights the entertainment was not good.

Good hotel just off the main road out of Herkelon

This was a nice hotel in a complex of three linked hotels. The service and facitities were very good including a swim up bar. The all inclusive deal was good as it included everything, however the second and subsequent drinks were clearly less alcoholic therefore we tended to drink larger. There was a wide range of food, but the quality was a little disappointing. The overall impression was that this was just about a four star hotel which woud have benefitted from a litlle less tackiness when it came to blaring music around the main pool and the entertainment!
We went in May and we needed to get to down to the pool early in order to get a sunlouger as there were not enough, even that early in the season.

Perfect verzorgd op alle punten. Ruim aanbod aan eten op verschillende plaatsen. Eten is gevarieerd en vers, buffeten uitgebreid. Hotel personeel is super vriendelijk en attent. Heel verzorgde zwembaden en terrassen. Kamers zijn onberispelijk net als alle andere ruimten binnen het hotel. Heel rustige en top verzorgde omgeving binnen het domein, prachtig privé strand, … hier voelt de vakantieganger zich de koning te rijk. Top aanrader! Hier kom je zeker nog terug!

Essen alles was man sich wünscht, allerdings aufgrund der allinclusive möglichkeit leidet teils die qualität sehr stark! Auto ist vorraussetzung da schon längere distanzen zum flughafen aber auch in die nächste stadt es dauert

Verblijf 11 dagen. 2 Kamers/badkamer werd absoluut niet 4 ster waardig schoongemaakt op dweilen na. We zaten als laatste in de gang van 20 kamer. Er was 1 mevrouw die alle 20 kamers in 8 uur moest schoonmaken. Zie het meer als verkeerd beleid dat dit niet goed gebeurde. De werkster werkte superhard.
De manager van het hotel liep vaak rond zonder werk mee te verzetten. Het personeel daarentegen werkte superhard maar geen dienbladen waardoor vele malen lopen.. duurde langer. Zoveel eten en zon uitgebreid buffet dat het eigenlijk beschamend was gelet op het dagelijkse overschot aan voedsel. Op zich allemaal lekker van smaak en de toetjes leken van een partisserie afkomstig.
Geen informatie voor toeristen, moesten we zelf googelen. Enkel informatie via aanbod agent reisorganisatie.
Verder schoon, net en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk hotel.

Great stay in a great place with a great staff. Thanks to the staff of the hotel, kind and attentive, for a pleasant stay. All precautions against the Covid are taken. Would definitely come back, especially for Dimitra's greec coffee in the morning in the main restaurant.

Hotel avec de superbes installations ( chambres, environnement intérieur sauf plages). Par contre, procédures d'organisations générales à revoir, impose le bon de réservation imprimé(jamais vu cela dans d' autres hôtels, en plus ayant déjà payé la réservation, l'application mobile ne servant donc à rien, demande une inscription pour les repas qui ne sert à rien puisque tout le monde s'y rend à n'importe quelle heure!
Procédure commande boisson nulle, demande du numéro de chambre sans vérification, résultat vous avez une facturation avec des boissons qui ne vous appartiennent pas!
Horaires de piscine inadaptés ( 10H00 à 18H00) alors que le soleil est présent et que des clients se trouvent encore sur les transats!
Plages environnantes pas terribles et semble t'il transat à payer.
Voiture impérative.

c est un belle hôtel mais mal exploité par rapport a tout les voyages que l on a pu faire.eau de mer dans la piscine désagréable.les gens laissent traîner des gobelets partout sur le sol autour des piscines pas ramassé plusieurs jours après..les gens fument dans la piscine,se baignent en short et tee shirt .très peu de choix le midi pour manger car beaucoup de gens en demi pension.limite quand on est en tout inclus.toujours a nous demander notre numéro de chambre alors que l on a un bracelet pour le tout inclus.spectacle dans l hôtel a cote mais obligé de payer ses consommations alors q uon a payé pour le tout inclus.plus jamais nous partirons avec iberostar

L'équipe du service animation était très bien.
Le personnel est vraiment à l'écoute des clients. J'ai eu un problème de climatisation qui a été résolu rapidement.
Le complexe est très grand (Il y a en fait 2 hôtels de la même enseigne faisant partie de ce complexe) et bien aménagé avec différentes petites criques donnant sur la mer.

Tout ou presque nous a plus, mais ce qui est déplaisant, c'est que l'on nous pousse à la consommation dans tous les domaines. Exemple pour le vin, pas de pichet ou de demi bouteille, pas de demi bouteille d'eau gazeuse, mais des 1/4, donc bien + cheres, ce ne sont que quelques exemples. Dommage, sinon l'Etablissement était très sympa.

Abbiamo prenotato al Iberostar Creta Marine, tre giorni prima della partenza siamo stati avvisati che chiudevano l'albergo per l'inverno e ci spostavano al Iberostar Creta Panorama e mare. Noi preferiamo strutture di dimensioni più piccole, il Panorama e Mare è enorme, affollato e molto rumoroso!
Il buffet è sempre ben fornito ma la qualità è deludente e ripetitiva.
La struttura è pulita e i giardini sono ben tenuti. Cosa rara negli alberghi, il Wi-fi funziona benissimo ovunque!
Ci sono sdraio gratuite un pò ovunque nei giardini e attorno alle piscine mentre sulle spiagge dell'albergo sono a pagamento. Far pagare 4 euro a sdraio sulla spiaggia dell'albergo è un pò da poveretti...

Sehr schicke große Anlage, mit eigenen Badestränden und drei Pools, die aber gerne ohne Salzwasser hätten seien können. Das Hotelpersonal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend, es werden jeden Abend Shows oder kleine Konzerte veranstaltet und es werden immer andere Aktivitäten am Pool oder innerhalb der Anlage angeboten.

Bel hôtel, conforme aux standards Iberostar, jardins magnifiques. Check-in rapide mais un peu trop long ensuite pour que l'on vienne prendre nos bagages et nous mener à notre chambre. Très joli bungalow (chambre à l'étage) avec vue sur la mer, calme et propre. Plage qui n'en est pas vraiment une. Quelques chaises longues sur le gravier au bord d'un petit bassin de mer naturel ou sur le béton autour du petit port. Les animations se déroule autour de la grande piscine principale. Mais il y a la possibilité de trouver de la tranquillité autour des autres piscines situées dans l'arène de l'hôtel. Bon restaurant, choix abondant et pour tous les goûts, bruyant mais cela est inévitable vu la grandeur de l'hôtel. Personnel agréable. Hôtel isolé, mais arrêt de bus devant l'hôtel. Il est toutefois préférable de louer une voiture pour visiter les environs et la belle ville de Réthymnon.

Le personnel fait l'effort de parler la langue de notre pays, très dévoué, à l'accueil ils sont très disponibles.
Le jour de notre départ à 4h30 du matin un petit déjeuner était mis à notre disposition.
Bémol l'eau lors de la douche l'eau passe de bouillante à froide et ceci pendant qq secondes la régulation doit être revue.

Très accueillant, proche de la plage.

Hotel très agréable ,le personnel parle français et nous reserve un tres bon accueil, aux petits soins.Le buffet varié, nous fait découvrir la cuisine locale, mais offre aussi un large choix d autres plats. L'hôtel dispose ,d un restaurant gastromique et d un autre mexicain pour nous faire decouvrir d autres saveurs.De plusieurs piscine avec une équipe d animateurs très dynamiques .Qui peut convenir aux familles avec des enfants. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour au Libero Star. De belles chambres tout confort. Un séjour très agréable. Seul bémol, notre chambre n était disponible à notre arrivée, nous avons dû changer de chambre le lendemain . Sinon pour le reste aucune remarque nous sommes ravis de notre séjour , l hôtel est bien situé pour découvrir le nord de la crete.

Odenen yuksek fiyata ragmen saat 3'ten once plajlara gidilince sezong ucreti alinmasi hic hos degil. Snack bar'larda yeterince yiyecek yok mesela saat 5'te varinca yiyecek birsey bulamadik oysa all-inclusive konseptinde 24 saat surekli yiyecek bulunmasi beklenir. Plaj havlusu konusu problemli havlu dagitimi sadece gunde 4 saat, bu saatlerin disinda resepsiyondan havlu temin ediliyor ki bu da yeni musterilerin check in prosesleri dolayisiyla bir havlu almak veya islak havlu iade etmek icin gereksiz beklemelere sebep oluyor. Yokus asagi olan plajda havlu dagitimi yok. Restauranttaki calisanlar cok yavas. Bir masayi hizla toparlamak yerine baska masa bulmanizi oneriyorlar. Flott hotell med vakre omgivelser og hyggelig pers

Vi var to par som hadde bestilt standard rom med havutsikt, og fikk i utangspunktet rom i to forskjellige etasjer. Vi spurte om vi kunne få i samme etasje, men istedet fikk vi tilbud om suite på ca 130 m2 som egentlig var for seks personer til samme pris. Vi var kjempefornøyde. Hotellet hadde meget vakre omgivelser med nydelig beplantning. God service med hyggelig personale. Maten i buffetrestauranten var bra, men elendig på alacarterestauranten. Der var derimot utsikten helt nydelig

Idéalement situé à une petite heure de l'aéroport sur la route de la côte Ouest, nous avons été délicieusement accueilli, conseillé pour un restaurant et cela malgré une attention particulière, une collation dans la chambre parce que nous arrivions après la fermeture du restaurant.
