Loved every second at this hotel. The staff are the stars of the show - nothing is too much trouble, aswell as the lovely new rooms, the gardens, the food, the view - outstanding. I don’t usually got to the same place twice but seriously thinking about coming again next year.

We had several problems with getting lost at the property, no signs to orientation where you are. The management especially at night were constantly asking if we were lost again. We have been at other resorts in the Caribbean that were better laid out. But overall we had a family reunion with 36 people for our boy's wedding. Beautiful resort but need manager customer service review policy.

Lovely hotel, especially the newly renovated family bungalows. Very friendly helpful staff lovely wide selection of food and plenty to do for the kids and spacious pools. There was an issue with the aircon on the first day but the staff quickly logged it and was fixed by the next morning. Only thing they could improve on would be the pool tables and arcade, very dated most machines were broken but this did not take anything away from the stay which was lovely.

The bays for swimming and relaxing are great. It could however do with a few more sun shades and sunbeds by these bays. I also dislike the towels being left on sunbeds early in the morning - and the people not turning up until midday.

The property of this hotel is massive, which is absolutely amazing. There’s so much to see and do at the hotel alone. The middle beach was lovely, and the variety of pools made it easy to find a chill place to swim every day. The food was also great at the buffet and BBQ restaurants, as well as at the Zorbas Tavern for lunch. However, the themed dinner at the Zorbas Tavern was awful. The food was absolutely randomly thrown together with no rhyme or reason. The staff at this hotel was also mostly unpleasant, with no desire to provide worthwhile customer service. Most of them appeared as though they didn’t enjoy being around people. The cleanliness of this hotel was also very concerning. Time and time again, we would find extremely filthy dishes and cups in the stacks of “clean” dishes and cups. The floors of most places were also often sticky and unpleasant. The majority of guests here are also unpleasant to be around, as they have no regard for those around them. They’ll make messes, leave trash everywhere, reserve lounge chairs that they’ll only use for an hour of the day at most — and the staff just let them get away with it.

AMAZING!! From beginning to end we absolutely LOVED this place! We were given cold beverages while we were waiting to be shown to our room. I was even given a rose when we checked in! 🌹 We we’re taken to our room on a golf cart so we didn’t have to carry our bags far which was so nice! The food was great! The access to the private coves was so nice and there were multiple pools to swim in as well. We also loved the basketball and volleyball courts to stay active while on the resort. We hope to come back here soon!

The rooms are small (20m2) for the price of the hotel but seems to be hard to find bigger rooms in the island. The hotel is big and nice for walks. The beaches are calm but not big. Swimming pools are great. Only downside there is that are full of kids, no one for only adults. The food after 5 days is boring but for few days is okay.

Stayed at hotel, and the hotel effectively started to close up and provide limited service (as they deemed it not in peak season). The Greek tavern (one of the restaurants) was closed for lunch by the fourth day, and lunch was moved to the international restaurant but then the international restaurant also only provided limited food and closed half the restaurant (Italian) for dinner. Majority of food in the restaurants didn’t have descriptions of the food so didn’t actually know what was being served. I paid for all inclusive with different food options and this was not there. The room tidying was interesting as they replaced the towels but left the old ones in the bath and didn’t take them with them, which meant the bath wasn’t cleaned. One of the nights for dinner by the international restaurant the restaurant staff was trying to get a mice out of the building.

A superb place for a family holiday. The staff are great and the Entertainment Team are outstanding. There was a decent choice of food, and plenty of it. The only let down, was the salt water pools. As the water evaporates, the salt doesn't. Leaving a really salty pool that stings your eyes.

The Hotel is very good and clean just would be worth a bit revamp of the bathrooms as looks very old. Amazing food. Lovely swimming pools, mini club and animation team. Perfect for family with kids. Staff member helpful. I was all inclusive and was worth the money.
Only one thing if you want to eat dinner as is included one in your stay for AI book ASAP after arrival as usually is booked out and people are on waiting list.
The hotel sometimes is overbooked so they don’t had the room for us and transfer us to near marina hotel which was good. Because of inconvenience they upgrade our room to sea view and got us free towels for all week and free safe. We are not fussy so we didn’t mind.
Overall relaxing and good place to go on holidays . I would defiantly recommend and go back.

What a beautiful resort this was. Perfect location with beautiful private beach. Located at top of the hill with lots of beautiful trees and flowers all around. We had lovely time with my 5 year old daughter. They have entertainment for kids as well as adults every night. We had booked half board and Breakfast and dinner was amazing. They also used to serve fresh fruit juices by the pool every afternoon free for all guests. Kids club is also available in case you want to leave your kid for sometime. I would definitely recommend this for everyone and will visit the place again.

Getting to the property was a challenge for us but once we were there it was amazing. I only wish that we could have stayed longer. The staff was all friendly and made you feel at home. The views and pools were something out of a postcard. I have already recommended to 6 other couples to go.

Lovely sea view and great food choices

Amazing selection of international food. Service very good. First time with Iberostar and on the whole good but 2 disappointments aside from surrounding area: indoor pool having no heating which is why we had selected this hotel. Room was damp with drips from ceiling. Sea view made up for it.

Extremely disappointed with this hotel. Not as glamorous as it looks! Buffet food lacked diversity and has dangerous risks of cross contamination for food-allergy sufferers (e.g placing Coconut and Soya Milk labels next to each other, pecan pastries sharing space with nut-free snacks, vegetable sauces spillages into spaghetti) Disliked €5 drink charge every meal on half board package, and having my meal disturbed to pay the bill and sign receipts. Staff numbers were low outside the restaurant. Only 2-3 staff on reception constantly busy with new arrivals. No lifeguards at either of the coves or beach on the furthest end of the site. Issue with drainage during my stay. Resort entrance smelled of sewage, b-day water emerged in shower and shower drained too slowly, leaving a pool of dirty water. The room showers are also far too small, barely any room to bend down if you drop the soap. Weather-wise October isn't a good time to go. Was overcast with limited sun and a chilly breeze unconducive to swimwear and water sports was closed. Disliked how cash-reliant the hotel was with only one cash machine available on the resort which was out-of-order at times.
Returned from my holiday really upset and unrelaxed. Would never recommend this hotel or consider visiting the island again for fear of a similar experience and wasted money!

Fabulous grounds, very well maintained. Right on the coast and the sea pools were an excellent addition to the hotel pools which were always crowded.
The all inclusive breakfast and dinners were excellent - so much so that we only managed an additional lunch one day.
The staff were mostly lovely, very friendly and lovely welcoming touches on arrival.
The bungalow we stayed in had fabulous sea views and was well placed for accessing the sea pools. However the furnishings and bathroom were in need of an update and the beds were not the most comfortable.
On balance though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Excellent facilities & location

Good hotel, with great facilities and great location. Large pool and several medium/ smaller pools on-site; over-looking sea with access to small private beach area. All-inclusive food/ drinks package works well - food fresh, hot and kept filled up. Rooms/ facilities very clean. Lots of activities available on-site, and good standard of evening entertainment from the Animation Team, led by the very amusing/ entertaining 'Simone' and some good live shows.
Only slight negatives: area around main pool is quite crowded/ not enough shade, but we preferred to be on grass area near pool, overlooking the sea.
Generally very good staffing in restaurant and bars, but some mixed service in main bar - some very professional/ efficient staff, spoilt by 1 or 2 who weren't, and one who had to be told my simple order 3 times, and still had to be asked to take the cap off the beer bottle! Terrace outside main bar spoilt by so many smokers, so as non-smokers had to retreat to inside and not listen to music/ entertainment on terrace.

Hidden gem, great for families

Our first stay at an Iberostar.

Rooms:
We had a standard room. Tired decor but cleaned daily to a high standard. The standard room is a very nice size for a family with one child up to 12y old. If you are sleeping a kid on the sofa, make sure they give you a mini mattress, this will keep the sofa cushions together. Large bathroom, large closet, plenty of towels. Cushions could be better and we had to ask for 2nd ones for everyone as first ones were too flat.

TIP: ASK FOR ROOM ON 4th or 5th floor for sea views as there are plenty of tall pine trees in front of the main building and floors 1-3 will definitely have interrupted sea views.

FOOD: You cannot fault their buffet, you can find everything you want on there! Different cuisine every day, fresh local produce. Half Board recommended. Excellent service from restaurant staff.

ENTERTAINMENT TEAM: Fabulous guys will keep you entertained with daily evening shows, games for kids, diplomas given out for the morning competitions.

POOL: Very large pool but get there early to drop your towels.
SEA SIDE: Eur4 for sun beds, 3 beaches to choose from and GREAT FOR SNORKELING!

Overall great value for money with the half board. Given the price, I would not expect better decor in rooms, so we were HAPPY. Will go back. Not for couples.

I’d say it’s a 3 star

Pros: the are is nice and green and not as windy as the rest of the island. Staff is friendly and kind. Lots of variety in food. Bug lamps to keep the flies away from food. Cons: the hotel is very dated, rooms are tiny like in a cruise ship, ton of people, everything in the hotel is dated. You can’t get an iron in the room for safety reasons... kind of gives you an idea what kind of safety is around here, seriously. Everyone gets to wear wrinkled clothes to only buffet style dinners with lines everywhere for food, with a pretend dress code that not a single person follows. The rooms are not cleaned really. The beach is paid, the water from the showers is drained into the sea with a pipe that leads right on the beach, the water on the beach was quite dirty a few times. Beach needs maintenance, and the gentleman that collects money for the beach could make it a little more pleasant of an experience, I felt like I was paying a fine every time he came around.

Nice overall hotel, a few bits let it down.

I stayed here in August, a last minute holiday choice.

Hotel is set in very nice grounds and gardens, it looks very nice, lobby is large, well presented and clean.

The hotel is rated at a 4 star, and that is simply not the case, it is trying to be a 4 star, but it's not quite there yet.

Wifi is excellent throughout the hotel and grounds, air condition in the room is very good, but poor everywhere else. The room safe is a chargeable extra, it should be included for a 4 star hotel. The map of the hotel is an extremely poor printout, so useless, you have to walk around to explore. Rooms were clean and tidy.

It states 6 pools, 5 of them are salt water, 1 chlorine. They are spread around a big complex, which houses more than 1 hotel, so the pools are in fact shared and it is not 6 pools for this hotel. The pools except for 1 are very small. The main pool is right outside this hotel, and it was very good, but being the only big pool it is heavily used and there are not many sunbeds, which are all reserved by guests by 8am.

The beaches it mentions are three man-made lagoon areas, which are small, they are not heavily used as you have to pay 4 euros per sunbed. The sea is often choppy and brings in a lot of waste with it, morning times seemed best to visit before rubbish washes in.

Staff are hit and miss, majority are excellent, but many lacked knowledge of the hotel, other guests told us things not to miss. A few staff were really poor.

Food overall is very good, bit limited.

Perfect vacation

It all started with really nice check in (sparkling wine for greeting and sweet snack), for next we had booked two standard rooms with sea view, but we were given better rooms (family bungalows at the sea front). Rooms were spacious and clean, but the most important - with stunning sea view (super sunset). Hotel has a great garden, 4 pools and private beach. There are activities every day (sports, games, kids activities) and entertainment program. HB meals are great. Although the hotel offers everything for a pleasant stay, if you want to see more (local life and culture), it is best to rent a car.

Great beach resort, fantastic garden, superb views

Beautifully located, basically on the beach with stunning gardens and a wonderfully-dedicates staff from pool cleaner to reception manager. If you know food beyond chips, pizza and pasta you will find yourself in a culinary paradise. Great selection of fresh Mediterranean cuisine -- meats and fish grilled right in front of your eyes, salads from regional ingredients, stews, soups, vegetarian dishes to kill for. And the Head Chef or his Deputy are always in the restaurant ready to answer any questions. Rooms are spacious and clean. If something goes wrong, it might take a few calls until house-keeping takes care of it, but I am being picky here. I have never encountered a more enthusiastic animation team: Simone, Toni, Nessy, Sasha ... you alone were worth our stay. There are six pools to choose from, but the two coves are so much fun to swim in.

Extremely poor experience

We feel absolutely cheated. We were pronised a room with sea view, under teh pretext of upgrade-they put us in a room with garden view. And more so , manager had said he will follow back up. No follow up. We are making a ceo complaint for the same. Last day the airconditioner in the room stopped working. We had to sleep with out a/c in 90 degeee F weather. We called reception and twice we were promised a tecnician- but no one showed up. Extremely poor service

Very nice location good entertainment

The location is beautiful, the hotel staff are overworked and overtired. The food variety is limited and doesn't vary. The portions of freshly cooked food are small and it is not all inclusive as you get charged four euros for fresh orange juce or attending the beach party- 10 euros per adult or using the beach loaner that costs 4euroes. the place is very over priced. The evening entertainment is very good but the day activities are poorly organised. The swimming pools are slat water and there are no lifeguards. The entertainment team are 7 people serving the over one thousand gests of the hotel. The waiters were the same people from 5am until midnight- and we were there 10 days. Overall we had a great time but didn't enjoy the food and thought it cost far too much.

Decent hotel, stay if you enjoy large cruise ships

I stayed here with my wife on the final 4 nights of our honeymoon. It's a decent hotel with nice grounds that I recommend more for families or older folks but wouldn't recommend for a romantic getaway. The location, although not in a town, is in the middle of Crete's northern coast and excellent for exploring the island. We spent most of our time away from the hotel visiting towns & beaches, so the central location was a major positive. Also, Panormos is a nice little town that's a 5-min drive from the hotel.

Check-in took longer than usual and we needed to fill out some long forms, then had to wait another 15 mins for the porter. Not his fault, they seem to only have one for the large property and another guest was making a fuss so although he came after us, we figured we'd let him get his bags first.

Room was clean and had a fairly good view of the sea and trees. Bathroom was clean, but certainly not ideal as the floor drain overflowed with water from the shower if you had it on full. Wireless did not work in the rooms, which the front desk warned us about, so needed to do all our internet activities in the lobby. Bed was too soft/springy.

The grounds are really nice, lots of flowers, trees, pools and good view to the sea and my wife and I had a nice walk around during one of the mornings. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge selection. Overall, it had a busy atmosphere that reminded me of a cruise ship and was a good but not totally ideal hotel for us.

The staff were friendly and let us check in a few hours early and check out a few hours late which meant we got to have two \"additional\" meals through the all inclusive package than we would not have have otherwise, which was very nice. I was disappointed by all the bars near the pools which did not serve hard alcohol, only beer and wine. I was also disappointed that all of the pools closed by 7pm, which meant there wasn't much to do after dinner. There are two coves to swim in, but they are very rocky and not sandy and there was a surcharge to use the sun beds in the coves. The restrooms and closest bars were also up a steep hill from the coves. For our room, we had a bungalow, which was nice, but there were some holes in the walls where it looked like a mirror had been hung and they were never filled in and a few other things that seemed shoddy about the room.

We were greeted at reception with a welcome smile, a yellow rose for my wife, glass of champagne and a cake each, plus we were upgraded to a superior bungalow.
All staff were always friendly and eager to please.
One small thing, the bed mattress should have had a mattress cover.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in September and we had a wonderful time, the food was excellent and the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and there were alot of swimming pools. We enjoyed swimming in the cove with our floats.

My only two complaints would be that the mattress in the bedroom was uncomfortable and very hard and there was a sewage smell.

I would highly recommend this hotel and we would stay again.

Great pools, quiet resort, room....eh.

I was very happy and impressed with how quiet the resort was. Even though it was sold out, or close to sold out, it never felt too crowded. The 4 pools were very quiet and peaceful. Even the main pool that played music wasn't too loud. The others were close to silent! Beautiful views. But **there is only ONE restaurant, and one dining hall.** NOT four restaurants like Expedia says. So that was very disappointing. The dining hall has a variety of styles, but it is false advertising to call claim that the resort has four separate dining halls. Our room was over the maintenance shed so we couldn't sleep past 8/8:30 when the staff came and made noise below. Our room was spacious, but smelled like mildew and I have never seen a shower head covered with more green limescale in MY LIFE. Water pressure was good, but please, clean the damn shower head!! Located one hour drive from Chania, and one hour from the Heraklion airport, with a rental car, it was a good location to travel.

Good food. Relaxing. We were in 2 bungalow rooms which were spacious. We didn't realize we were located right next to the other Iberostar. Their main pool with towel hut was literally 10 seconds away, but we couldn't even get towels there which were identical for both hotels. We had to walk 5 minutes to the other Iberostar towel hut. It would have been nice for staff up front/at check in to have warned us of the proximity but inability to use their services. We've been at other Iberostar sites in Mexico where 2 Iberostar hotels next to each other allowed use of both..and it was very nice.

Horrible experience. They overbooked the hotel and made our friends (we had 2 rooms) stay in another hotel for the first night and instead of apologizing they acted like its normal. I had to pick them up in the morning from the other hotel and missed breakfast cause of that. When I asked to get lunch buffet instead of breakfast buffet, the manager told me my friends could have taken a taxi, instead of me picking them up and missin breakfast.

Great all inclusive resort, lots to do for all age groups. Animation staff are excellent along with good food and drink, apart from fruit juices( just buy a carton of orange juice from the onsite shop for breakfast) and helpful staff elsewhere .

Nice All Inclusive Resort

Everything about this hotel was pleasant, although I must admit that the wow-factor was missing.

I was very disappointed upon arrival to find that they placed us into a tiny bungalow (with non-functioning air conditioner) even though I had booked a superior bungalow. It took them two days to transfer us to another room. Those were two miserable sleepless nights as the room had no aircon and no ventilation (unless you're willing to sleep with the door wide open). That said, the superior bungalow was absolutely lovely, it was spacious, comfortable, and the aircon was freezing.

The food was acceptable, plenty of choices, but nothing in particular to brag about.

The staff and service was faultless throughout. Upon our late arrival, they still had a cold buffet and soup available for us to eat and because I take it, there it was only a cold buffet available, they told us we could have free drinks for the evening. As we were HB, I thought that this was a nice touch, especially considering it was 11pm at night and we didn't think that we would be able to get any food at all.
Our stay was 4 for nights and we literally wanted a getaway, where we could escape and get some relaxation and we certainly found this. Because we went slightly out of season, the hotel was only 45% capacity and so some facilities weren't in use. However, because both complexes iberostar panorama and creta marine are next to each other and their very well maintained gardens merge into each other, we could go for long walks.
The food was lovely, plenty of choice, replenished quickly, show cooking stations available, I love heathy food and I was very pleased! I had my reservations at first because the hotel is all inclusive as well, which means that they have to cater for everyone and can sometimes mean chips, pizza, burgers etc. dont get me wrong they did have some of this alongside traditional Greek cuisine and a range of fresh salads (even had smoked salmon for breakfast!) We got to know the staff in the restaurant too and they were very helpful and welcoming.
We hired a car whilst we were there, as there isn't much around the hotel.

I stayed at Iberostar Creta Panorama & Mare, Mylopotamos on Wed 15/Jul/2015 - Sun 19/Jul/2015.The aircon stop ed working and beds were hard.I did tell hotel reception about beds and air con.They put something on the beds which made it better but did not fix the aircon which made stay in the room uncomfortable.Aircon was noted in repair book but nothing was done even after talking to them again

Raw sewage overflow from septic tank into walking lanes. Plastic trash covering the beaches. Avoid this hotel. Noisy from disco going till after midnight. Pool blasting music during the day. Stay away from this hotel if you want a quiet vacation. Food is full of salt and sugar. Great place to put on weight. Paid Internet slower than dial up. Have to pay for orange juice.

Geared to older folks, the plus 50 crowd.

Staff were awful, made you feel like you were asking huge favors for even the simplest questions. I literally slept on a concrete slab in Santorini with a 4 inch foam mattress that was 100x more comfortable than the beds here. The food was okay, however we found that most of the cooked dishes were quite greasy. The hotel is older and needs maintenance. The little train takes you to Panormo where you pay ridiculous amounts for trinkets (I didn't buy any, again they were 1/2 the price in Athens and 3/4 the price in Santorini. Elafonisi beach, if you have little ones and wish to do the 3 hour drive is totally worth it. Next time we will stay in Heraklion or Chania.

First 24 hours resulted in an unpleasant stay

Travelling with a 2 year old & 6 month old. Checked into our family room on a 33 degree day only to find air conditioning not working. Reception staff very unhelpful & rude in fixing problem. We were made to feel like it was our fault it wasn't working. We were unable to unpack or swim for 3 hours while fault was fixed. Children hysterical by time resolved. Numerous attempts to contact manager, but told unavailable. More than 5 phone calls were made to reception staff & we were constantly told someone was coming, thank you, then hung up on! Needless to say we were not impressed! Next morning we requested our room clean between 8-12 as our children sleep. Phoned reception with request & spoke with cleaners. Our room was cleaned finally at 3pm! On a positive buffet is excellent, as is pool. Staff in resturant & pool are also lovely.

Lovely hotel setting, great views and well maintained grounds. The facilities were excellent and food choice superb.

The hotel staff were very friendly barring some of the reception staff, who I found less than helpful at times.

Room cleanliness wasn't up to par either, but the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Overall a 4/5 and excellent value for money.

Enjoyed breakfast and dinner selections, you don't have to worry about getting food outside the hotel. Only one problem is their wi-fi connection, it is very slow, payed 9 euros extra but every time we log in we get kicked out and takes a long time to connect.

great expererince but

the hotel and staff were spectacular. we have traveled all over Europe and have to Greece 8 times. this hotel by far was the best experience. only one draw back , they advertised internet access that you had to pay for. they quality and bandwidth was at best 1/10 10 being the best available. they tried to get their IT personnel to improve but no go. we all had a little work to do even on vacation, but were unable to use their internet. we got better bandwidth and speed using the phone service in the area.
otherwise it was a great place, food great, staff outstanding
I would recommend to area to anyone

Excellent and clean hotel, would go back but like to try new places :)

This hotel was brilliant. Not only were our rooms always kept spotless but the whole complex. The food was different each night and always enjoyed it. The views were amazing especially at sunset. Entertainment was brilliant as was there if you wanted but didn't hassle you if you chose not to attend etc.
Our only thing we would say is that there should be tea/coffee facility in the room or at least on each floor rather than having to go to the restaurant for a morning cup of coffee etc. The bed in every room (on speaking with people) is very hard but that is personal opinion. Thought it was a bit naughty to charge 28 euros for the safe, i think for a 4* this should be included or a smaller charge etc.
Other to that we thought this hotel was excellent. I celebrated my birthday a day before arrival and received a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake so made it special for me.
This hotel caters for all ages also.
Sad to be home and wish we had a little longer out there!!!

Zimmer Bungalow war OK. Leider 3 Tage lang ein Problem mit Ameisen im ganzen Raum🤢. Wurde erst nach 3 maligen beanstanden in Ordnung gebracht.😒 Am 5 Tag ist das Wasser in der Dusche nicht bzw. nur sehr langsam abgelaufen. Leider ist die Lage des Zimmers, Parterre und direkt vor einem allgemeinen Pool. Verpflegung und Auswahl waren sehr gut 😀Für ein 4⭐plus Hotel hätte ich mehr erwartet. Am Empfang leider Niemand der Deutsch spricht.

Heerlijk verblijf van 17 nachten gehad op dit resort. Op de dag van de aankomst, bleken wij de eerste gasten van het nieuwe seizoen te zijn en kregen daardoor een gratis upgrade naar een suite met zeezicht. Gevulde koelkast en hele nette suite. Dat was met 2 kinderen een heerlijke verassing!

Schoonmaakster kwam elke dag, elke dag schone handdoeken, een net schoon bed, dát was alleen al vakantie! Smorgens en savonds aanschuiven bij een heerlijk buffet met elke dag een ander thema. Super goed eten en ruime keuze!

Accomodatie heeft een enorm aantal buiten en binnenzwembaden, prive strand en speeltuintjes. Een leuke kidsclub met lieve meiden. Enige minpuntje voor ons was het erg koude zwembad en gebrek aan bijvoorbeeld een glijbaantje of speelmogelijkheden in het zwembad.

Wij hadden een huurauto en dat was erg fijn want er is niets op loopafstand vanuit het resort.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad en ook mede door het enorm gastvrije en vriendelijke personeel.

hôtel au look vieillissant mais bien entretenu

Hôtel type années 1990, mais très bien entretenu, chambre un peu vieillotte mais propre et jardins superbes. Nourriture très correcte, cocktails all inclusive bien fournis (vins à table médiocres par contre). Nous avons eu une chambre le premier soir qui était très bruyante (on entend beaucoup les chambres d'à côté et les gens qui rentrent, l'insonorisation n'est pas terrible. Néanmoins, après demande, ils nous ont attribué une chambre très calme (petit bungalow) avec une vue mer extraordinaire. Les transats et le look en général mériteraient un bon relooking.

Notre séjour était très agréable pour une première fois dans ce genre de complexe hôtelier. Buffet diversifié avec des thématiques tous les jours. Petit déjeuner spécial pour les personnes intolérante au gluten ou au lactose.
Spacieuse, agréable, très belle vue, literie correcte, mais mauvaise isolation de la chambre. Nous entendions les bruits extérieurs, des chambres voisines à côté et au dessus de la nôtre.
Salle de douche correcte mais chasse d'eau des WC très bruyante.
Nous avions loué une chambre water front.
Le personnel est très accueillant, du personnel de nettoyage à l'accueil en passant par le service de table.

We really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful views, beautiful hotel, good food and enough variety, very friendly staff and the most amazing animation team. We arrived quite late at night and the check-in went smoothly and there was even the possibility to get something to eat at the restaurant. One thing that was a bit overwhelming was the amount of information during check-in (opening-closing hours of different restaurants and kiosk, beach towels, etc), especially late at night and after quite a long trip. But the staff kindly explained everything again the next morning and there are also timetables in the elevators and an activities schedule on the screen downstairs.
Things we had some trouble with were the sharp edges of the fence around the football field (a hole in the ball and a crying kid after less than 20 minutes) and the loud noise you would hear when the neighbours flushed the toilet. That was something unexpected the first morning, but after that we got used to it.
Despite the (to us small) inconveniences, we had a great holiday and we will definitely come back.

Une belle étape à l'Ouest de la Crête

Hôtel à 45 mn d'Héraklion, 20mn en voiture de Rethymnon, et 5 mn village de Panormos

Un très beau complexe hôtelier ( il y a un autre Iberostar à côté). Très facile d'accès car à côté de la voie rapide mais pas de nuisance sonore. Pour se baigner, 2 criques sont en bas du complexe et une plage publique en dehors.
Etablissement, jardins, piscine très propres et bien entretenus. Excellent accueil de tous le personnel.
Chambre vue mer avec balcon , spacieuse, très bonne literie, calme. Petit déjeuner et diner en formule buffet , cuisine variée avec un grand choix.
Très grand professionnalisme et recherche optimum de la satisfaction client . Pour mon anniversaire, j'ai eu la surprise d'avoir dans ma chambre , un gâteau + une bouteille de vin local.
Félicitations à son manager Mr Orestis Kapetanias pour cette délicate attention et à tous ses collaborateurs.

Nous étions 3 couples et à l'unanimité , nous conseillons cet établissement pour un séjour dans l'Ouest de la Crête

The resort is a dream. It is unbelievably beautiful, green, with tropical trees (palms) and a very friendly staff. For us, this was a first time in such a huge resort. We were mostly positively impressed. A huge enterprise of staff in different roles are there to help and serve you. Many activities in the resort, although we mainly did not stay in the hotel at the day time, but you can. Mixed audience, both families with kids and young couples, or elderly couples. Mostly German, French, Russian and Polish. We had rented a car, so we mostly roamed in the island of Kreta. Food was delicious and the view on the terrace is amazing. The interior of the room feels old and used compared to the setting and view of the resort. This could have been and should have been improved / renovated. on the first day we had a hard time after finding some hair on the bedsheets, but the staff tried to help us by cleaning again.
