Stays at the Fermes de Marie are always a pure delight. Service is exceeding expectations, the place is so cozy and authentic (esp. in winter) and the spa is fantastic. It was perfect to spend 2 nights in a half-board format: start with a fantastic breakfast, ski during the day, come back to relax at the spa and enjoy a nice dinner at the Fermes - amazing way to relax and re-energize , with nothing to worry about

This hotel was lovely and the staff was amazing. The outside patio is gorgeous and such a nice place to enjoy breakfast. I’m not sure if it’s typical or not but the hotel seemed to be like a magnet for children. They were everywhere as well as in the hot tub at all hours of the day. Unfortunately my room was right next to a very loud family and the walls were quite thin so I was awoken by a crying baby a few times. This is not the hotels fault but consider the thin walls if you like your quiet. Overall definitely a lovely spot and I would stay again.

The room was quaint but very small. Also, it was very warm (it was August when we stayed) so we had to keep the window open all night and we awoken several times a night by noise outside. In addition, while most of the staff were lovely, the bar tender was incredibly condescending to us given our limited French. He was so rude he made us uncomfortable to be there. We discussed our concerns upon check out and they were apologetic.

Concierge was very efficient and recommended and organised most of our restaurants for lunches up on the mountain and evenings too.

The resort of Megeve is one of the most upmarket ski resorts in France with relatively small crowds and virtualy no queing at the lifts.The only complaint that I could find is that the t.vs had limited English channels and the rooms were so romantically dimmed lighting that it was difficult to read a book in them so you had to use the lovely lounges.
The resort of Megeve is one of the most upmarket ski resorts in France with relatively small crowds and virtualy no queing at the lifts.The only complaint that I could find is that the t.vs had limited English channels and the rooms were so romantically dimmed lighting that it was difficult to read a book in them so you had to use the lovely lounges.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Le spa est très sympathique et complet, avec des horaires d'ouverture de 7h à 22h30, ce qui est fortement appréciable. Le massage était superbe. Cependant, le prix du buffet de desserts à 24 € nous semble excessif lorsque l'on prend juste une petite douceur sucrée.

Nous avons passé un moment hors du temps : accueil des plus sympathiques et professionnel. Le personnel est aux petits soins. La chambre que nous avions (802) était une petite merveille de confort : literie merveilleuse, déco façon chalet revisité, salle de bain spacieuse et propreté irréprochable. Quant au repas et au petit déjeuner, rien ne manquait pour satisfaire nos papilles !

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Especially the servicelevel of all staff were amazing. Me and my wife spent a long weekend there in end of January and the hotel is really exceptional. The pool and spa areas are 5 star as well. It is pricey but its actually worth it.
