Great little hotel in a really nice location. Stayed for one night as we were just passing through, but the room was large and comfortable, staff were great and food was excellent. We were on a fully loaded up motorbike so the big cobbles in the car park raised the pulse slightly, but thankfully it was dry. There is a bit of noise from the road outside, though I didn't particularly notice it during the night even though I'm a fairly light sleeper. A \"sleep kit\" is supplied just in case (eye mask and ear plugs). Overall, enjoyable stay and would recommend it.

This is anole historic building with just enough updates to make it modern in feel without loosing the historic charm. Excellent onsite restaurant with exceptional diners. Main downside was that despite being in a small village there was a lot of road noise at night.

Could use either better pillows or more of them. Elevator was temperamental. Room was clean; cleaning staff wonderful. Restaurant was amazing; wait staff also amazing. Because of the minimalist, Danish decor; the place echoes and is somewhat noisy. But, it is a really nice hotel.

The sound insulation is practically nonexistent. Every time a car passes by outside, the entire room shakes and vibrates as if the traffic were running through the room itself. Getting proper rest here is nearly impossible.
The bed was even worse. What was presented as a large bed was actually just two extremely soft single mattresses pushed together. To “solve” the gap in the middle, they placed a wooden board between them — an unbelievably poor and uncomfortable setup.
If you sleep on one side, your body sinks deeply into the soft mattress, while the hard wooden board in the center digs painfully into you and leaves you stuck in an awkward position. It is not just uncomfortable — it is completely unacceptable for any hotel claiming to offer basic comfort.
The entire sleeping experience was an absolute nightmare. I would never stay here again and would strongly advise others to avoid this place.

Et virkeligt charmerende og hyggeligt hotel, med masser af historie. Stort rummeligt værelse i annekset (standard) med god plads og en god seng. Meget serviceminded og venligt personale. Morgenmaden var ok, pænt udvalg som forventet. Nemt at finde og parkere og vi ærgrede os kun over at vi ankom sent og skulle tidligt afsted igen. Kan anbefales.

Charme kent zijn beperkingen. Het hotel is gelegen in het centrum van Christiansfeld. Zeer authentiek gebouw uit vervlogen tijden, maar welke ligt aan de dorpsstraat met koppelstenen. Voorbij rijdende auto's zijn hierdoor duidelijk hoorbaar en er liggen oordoppen klaar op het nachtkastje. Tevens zijn de kamers in het bijgebouw gehorig naast elkaar. Ontbijt is prima en restaurant aanwezig.

First and foremost is cleanliness, and Brødremenighedens Hotel did not disappoint. I found the entire hotel to be spotless and the same for my room. Yes, the bathroom is not new but it is well maintained, everything works and again it was clean. All in all pretty good for a building built around the time of the American Revolution.
This hotel and the town of Christiansfeld is well worth a visit and the hotel location could not be better, there is even free parking right next to the entrance, perfect.
The breakfast provided from 7:00 to 10:00 AM in the basement restaurant is very good offering both hot and cold items.
There is only one thing I missed and that was a decent chair to sit in. There were two chairs in the room that fit the decor very well, but they were not very comfortable so to me, replacing them would be a real benefit.

Alt i og omkring af hotellet emmer af charme og historie. Man føler at man bor på et gammelt sted med historie og traditioner, uden at man føler man bor på et lokalt museum.
Indretningen er stadigvæk funktionel, moderne og roligt, med en strejf af gamle dage der skaber hyggen.
Morgenmaden var klassisk og der var hvad der skulle være. Alle madvarer og tilberedningen, var af højeste kvalitet. Der er ikke gået på kompromis nogen steder.

Havde det skønneste ophold. Blev taget godt imod. Fik det dejligste værelse. Sjældent har jeg set et værelse der var så rent. Personalet var enestående. Vi spiste i restauranten om aftenen. Virkelig dygtig og venlig tjener. Han gjorde sig umage med at hjælpe os med valg af mad og drikke. Vi nød maden og stemningen i den smukke restaurant. Morgenmaden var virkelig lækker der var et stort udvalg og den var frisk og velanrettet. Hende der serverede morgenmad var virkelig sød og serviceminded. Hun gav gode råd til sightseeing. Det satte vi stor pris på. Den lækre kaffe og te på værelset skal også nævnes! Også her er der gjort ekstra ud af os som gæster.

Venligt og imødekommende personale. Selv om hotellet er af ældre dato, er komforten ok. Dog skulle der skrues godt op for varmen for at holde varmen. Ville faktisk sætte pris på ikke at få skiftet håndklæder hver dag, da det efter vores mening ikke er miljøvenligt. Dejlig morgenmad i hyggeligt lokale.
Maden i hotellets restaurant var god og veltillavet. Vi måtte dog vente på sidste ret, da tjenerne åbenbart havde glemt os.
