Will stay here again

I had the most amazing stay in Thon.
My travel had been challenging but they had been understanding with check in and my delayed luggage.
The breakfast was superb no wonder it’s award winning. My overall stay was excellent. From check in, amenities, location, food options, check out and transport.

We had a great harbor, sea & mountain view from our balconied room. The room, although somewhat small, was very comfortable with very nice decor & comfortable beds. Complimentary coffee/tea & espresso in the lobby was quite a nice feature and the breakfast was over the top excellent! The hotel restaurant was surprisingly quite good as well! It was the perfect spot to access the next phase of our trip in catching the Hurtigruten ship - just a 5 min walk away. There is not a thing negative to say about our stay here.

The hotel is good location, room is clean and quiet, the free breakfast is good. The only problem is limited parking. When we checked in late at night, the hotels parking is full. We were told to parking at nearby parking lot. We double checked with the front desk staff with parking spots picture. And confirmed that were correct. But 2nd morning, we got parking ticket! Very unpleasant experience!

Unfortunate Smell

Great Breakfast!!

I only stayed one night but my room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was really good. You had to park off grounds but it wasn't too far away. The staff was courteous and helpful. I had a very pleasant stay.

The door lock is not safe. If you don’t remove the keycard inside, the door don’t lock itself.
When you are in the door, you have to press the button to lock the door from inside, otherwise the door won’t lock itself when it closes.

Nice Hotel Experience .

The hotel is located in the city center . There’a parking area nearby the hotel but you have to pay for it. ( its about 24 Nok kr per time. ) after 3pm its free parking until 8:00 am. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good . We enjoyed our stay .

I found the renovated room to be clean and bed was quite comfortable. They were renovating the lobby and 2nd floor but I never heard construction noise. Breakfast buffet is excellent with a lot of food choices and a lovely view of the harbor and mountains. If I am ever back in Harstad, I will stay at the Thon again.

Nice hotel in the middle of
the city. The hotel is currently being renovated and there is a lot of work going on. Our room was nicely refurbished, but we had issue with a vent falling out of the ceiling in the middle of the night and waking us up with a loud noise. The staff was awesome and very helpful. Told us where to go to see the Northern Lights.

Well appointed hotel close to all facilities.

Whilst the twin room was was rather small it have everything we needed and presented as a cosy, safe haven for our two night stay. The included breakfast was absolutely outstanding.

Good hotel with some caviates

Would prefer a room to have a bath as well as a shower. More than half of the T.V. stations were 'out of service' and no native English channels available. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No light switch by bed which meant having to get up and turn the lights out. Excellent breakfast.

I stayed here as I had some work to do locally. There were 2 reasons I chose this hotel and they were that I had stayed in a Thon hotel previously and that I said that it had parking (idea as I had a hired car).
On arrival I found that it had limited parking and was full. It appears that they only have parking for about a dozen cars, Luckily there is a public car park just across the road which I had to use (which is chargeable betweem 8.00 - 17.00hrs).
Connected to the hotel is a Egon restaurant which is fine and close by are a couple of restaurants and places to eat and drink.
The breakfst was o.k. but dont expect the food to be hot as the hot buffet was only tepid on both mornings that I had it, but there is plenty of selection on the cold buffet.
I found my room to be small compared to other places that I have stayed but was o.k. for the short time I was there. I think it may have been a room for 1 even though the bed was bigger than a single.
If I was to go back I think I would try the Scandic hotel which is only around the corner and is cheaper as I found this hotel to be a bit below the usual standard I found with the other Thon Hotels I've stayed at.

Overnight stay before joining Hurtigruten ship

We arrived late in afternoon after full day of train/bus/taxi to get from Kiruna SWEDEN to Harstad. The National Holiday in May disrupted some arrangements. Enjoyed our brief stay in Harstad and waterfront walk.

Ruime badkamer met fantastische douche.
Ontbijt was super.
Dineren kan in naastgelegen restaurant (Egon restaurant).
Vrij aardig aan de prijs.
Persoonlijk vind ik het niet sympathiek dat je alles aan de bar moet bestellen en alvast moet afrekenen voordat je iets hebt gehad,maar dat is misschien een persoonlijk mango.
Eten is wel goed.
Bediening vriendelijk.
Drank schreeuwend duur zoals overal in Noorwegen

Sentral beliggenhet. Stort rom, noe bortgjemt i en egen seksjon av bygget. Meget bra frokosttilbud. Ingen bruk av \"servicefunksjoner\" utover inn- og utsjekk, som ble gjort på en raus å inkluderende måte, helt i tråd med byens slagord 😃

Oppholdet var bra, litt dårlig renhold på badet men ikke helt krise. Manglet toalettartikler som skulle følge med rommet men det ble ordnet så snart jeg ba om det.
Mye bråk fra uteliv da det er barer rett utenfor vinduet men det er vell nesten til å vente når man er i en by midt i en helg.

Fint hotell. Skorter bittelitt på renholdet på rom. Litt mye skit rundt på gulvet spesielt nærme sengene. Og glassene på badet var ikke rene. Ellers helt fantastisk frokost og superserviceinnstilt personale som gjorde en strålende jobb.

Flott, men lite for veganere!

Rommet var flott, men vinduene burde vært vasket. Det var også svært lite vegansk i frokosten, kun en halvfull pakke soyamelk. Det er for dårlig! Thon er uansett mitt favoritthotell fordi jeg liker interiøret og at de ikke har teppegulv overalt. Det gjør det egnet for allergikere og astmatikere. Velger du et superiorrom får du strålende utsikt over Harstad havn!

Die Unterkunft war soweit in Ordnung. Die Zimmer sauber, allerdings bisschen hellhörig. Bett war meines Erachtens nach zu weich/durchgelegen. Das Frühstück war top! Alles da was man braucht. Der Fitnessraum wirklich super, eine tolle Aussicht!
