Ideal location for overnight stop. Parking on nearby street if hotel car park full. Very helpful staff on reception. Clean room and public areas very neat and tidy. Standard of food is not great but adequate. Coeliac choices but limited - Evening meal (1 course) is included in room price, but coeliac choice was overcooked with watery veg. Dining room staff over zealous clearing away in a morning. Large tour groups use this hotel. Would visit again.

The dining room has great views, food good for both breakfast and dinner, saved having to go out looking for places to eat. 5 mins walk from town centre and ferry terminal. 1 min walk from bus for Evenes airport(50 mins trip). Bedroom good size and good amenities, mine did not have good views but pay more and get the stunning mountains. Great bathroom with the heated floor of course. No fridge.

This hotel is right on the water and had an incredible view. The breakfast buffet is really good and had several options (including gluten free). The only reason for not choosing 5 stars is because the rooms are very dated and there isn’t free parking on the property.

Breakfast and dinner were included, both simple but enough to satisfy me. A tour group had breakfast and they ate most of the food, staff wasn't quick enough to replenish them. My room was dark, there were at least 5 lamps in the room which I had to turn on most of them. Laundry (washer & dryer) was 50kr total. Free parking weekends only.

Lovely hotel in great position near the water. Loved getting breakfast, afternoon tea and light dinner included. It was also excellent value.
Only negative-hotel looks like it is ready for some remodelling. It’s a bit dated.

Road trip - One night stay

I would recommend the waterside rooms, which have incredibly beautiful views. The first room we were given was on the backside of the building and was rather dreary and small, so we asked for the upgrade and were very pleased. Also, the staff was welcoming and friendly, taking time to chat and help us with other aspects of our travel.
The hotel could use a bit of updating, but the views and the staff made for a pleasant stay. This was a first and convenient stopping place after the express boat from Tromso on our trip to the Vesteralen and Lofoten Islands.

On evening arrival our bathroom was not clean. There were only two employees at the hotel at the time, a front desk clerk and a chef for the included buffet. To her credit, the clerk moved us into an upgraded room which was clean and spacious.

We arrived later than planned at the hotel (by the water, with places to park and eat nearby), but we were greeted by the very welcoming and helpful Odd-Ivar who was on front desk. He clearly expected us and he made checking in very easily, and also was lovely to chat with. The staff here are very nice. The room itself was well presented/decorated, clean, and everything we needed was there. There were plenty of options for breakfast, and checking out was just as easy. Friendly staff, comfortable stay and I would recommend this hotel to others.

Somewhere to feel at home

A lovely welcome after a long drive, and the discovery that we had a beautiful room on the 5 th floor looking out across the fjord was a great start. All the staff were incredibly friendly and willing to help with any questions. We were astonished to discover that the hotel provides a light evening meal each night. This is available to all guests between 6 and 9, and means there is no need to go out after a long day travelling to find somewhere to eat. A great hotel to stay in.

Very nice hotel in Harstad

We had an enjoyable overnight stay. We had an excellent room overlooking the harbour. the staff were all very friendly and helpful. SAS had left my wife's suitcase in Oslo and it arrived late at night so the staff kept it in their office so they didn't disturb us! Dinner was fine - simple and plain but with very nice roast pork. It was very welcome after a long day, without having to go searching for dinner. breakfast was a buffet - the only disappointment for me was that they had run out of English breakfast tea - and I don't drink coffee, of which there was lots of choice.
We'd definitely stay there again next time we are in Harstad.

Top Zimmer mit Blick aufs Wasser durch die große Fensterfront.

Frühstück war sehr gut und viel Auswahl.
Abendessen war an sich auch lecker, aber nur 1 Hauptgericht zu Abend, ansonsten Salattheke und Suppe. Uns hat es immer geschmeckt, was es gab.

Parkplätze selbst existieren nicht von Hotel, daher muss man im kostenpflichtigen Bereich der Straße parken. Kann unter Umständen ein bisschen Kosten verursachen auf Dauer. Es gibt aber einen Bereich, den man nur von 8-17 Uhr bezahlen muss, um zumindest nachts kostenlos zu parken.

Leider war während unseres Aufenthalts die Sauna defekt. Wir hatten uns eigentlich gefreut, diese zu nutzen.

Sehr gutes Hotel in perfekter Lage direkt am Wasser. Unser Zimmer hatte einen schönen Meerblick, was den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht hat. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das inkludierte Abendbuffet ist nett gemeint, aber eher einfach gehalten und kann man problemlos auslassen, wenn man etwas Besonderes essen möchte. Beim Parken sollte man wissen, dass das Hotel ein paar eigene Parkplätze hat, diese aber etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuss entfernt liegen. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Jeg ble veldig positivt overrasket over standarden på rommet ettersom det var helt nyoppusset, og ikke mørkt innredet med teppegulv som på bildene på hotels.com. Jeg har astma, og forskjellen på teppegulv og parkett er veldig stor for meg.

Rommet var godt rengjort, madrassen hadde perfekt mykhet, sengetøyet kjentes friskt og rent, og luftsirkulasjonen/ inneklimaet var friskt uten å bli kaldt. Det blir derfor enkelt å velge hotell Arcticus for min neste mastersamlingreise til Harstad!

Jeg har tidligere prøvd byens andre hoteller og opplever at de har lavere grad av service, svakere frokosttilbud og dårligere inneklima.

Hadde et bra opphold på hotelle . Men puten i senga var ikke så gode , kunne vært bedre . Maten var ok . Men savnet stekt egg. Kunne og hadd litt bedre mat på en lørdag til middag , noe ekstra godt , ikke vanlig kværdags mat . Ellers var alt greit å bra .

Veldig bra beliggenhet og meget god mottakelse i resepsjonen ved ankomst.
Under hele oppholdet var det veldig god service og mat.
Tilgang på sauna og trimrom er et stort pluss, skulle vært åpent en time lenger.
Fin atmosfære i lobby baren og fint med \"Fika\" kaffe og kake tidlig på eftermiddag.
Bordene som er i restauranten med tilhørende langs sofa er ikke gjennomtenkt da bodrene er for høye i forhold til sofa. Øvrige sitteplasser og bord er gode. Kommer gjerne igjen

Perfekt opphold. Hadde familierom med unge på 13. Rent rom og regulerbar varme på rommet. Godt utstyrt og flott treningsrom med badstu. Nydelig tacobuffet til kveldsmat. Kunne stått fremme kaffe i lobbyen fra kl 9 men fikk i 11 tiden kaffe. Nydelig og variert frokost. Alle fornøyde. Kommer gjerne tilbake.

Var bare ei natt. Rommet vi var tiltenkt var ikke klart da vi kom, men dette ble ordnet ved at vi fikk ett annet rom som var klart, ett stort og fint rom. Parkering like i nærheten, Eneste minus var at det var for lite bord til frokosten slik at det ble litt ventetid. Vi ble derfor tilbudt å ta med maten til ett konferanserom like i nærheten, så var problemet løst.
