I extended a business trip into a long weekend in Amsterdam and this was the perfect hotel. I appreciated the secure entry to my floor that required a key card. I am enjoying the quality of the coffee at breakfast staff especially around the dining area is very polite and extremely efficient. I had a great view of the river and the price wasn’t too expensive for my room. Ben was very comfortable and while the room doesn’t have all of the drawer space in closets like you might find in an American hotel similar size. . I would definitely stay here again.

The elevators need some work. One elevator during our stay couldn’t close all the way and was kind of noisy while we were in it before that happened. The other elevator the buttons were cracked and other things were broken on it. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Liked they had shampoo conditioner and body wash in the showers. Breakfast was not worth the $25 that people pay. Hotel was quiet besides some street noise. Had a good time and stay was good otherwise. Staff were great.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The breakfast for this recent stay was absolutely disappointing.
We arrived at 830am and they had run out of several things. Granted the hotel was sold out, but management should have planned for it. Running out of numerous items after only 1.5 hours is bad management.
The buffet consisted of whole oranges and apples, blueberry yogurts, English muffins and sliced bread, cereal, gloppy oatmeal, scrambled eggs and sausage.
No muffins, pastries, cut fruit, no variety of yogurts. I think they had a 3rd hot item last time. Breakfast at our previous stays were much more impressive.
The exercise room was very warm and staff do not respond after notification.
For those who stayed here before, the micro brewery across the hall is now closed. That was a big plus of past stays.
The layout of our suite was very stupid. The building has a large oversized pillar in the room. They placed the sofa behind the pillar where you cannot see the tv. It is also inconvenient to see the tv from the bed since it is placed on the wall to the right of the bed so you view the tv at an angle unless you lay at the foot of the bed. We had to move the couch to the middle of the room to watch tv. If they moved the tv to the desk area, you could see the tv from both the couch and bed.
The rest of the hotel was good. Nothing impressive.

The kitchen had toater, micro, fridge(fullsize), and cooktop, also dishwasher. Rooms are nice size, plenty of space for family. Location was great, easily walk to places, love ice cream, or aquarium. Had a great view of lake.

Had a decent stay, except for some issues with the room. Bathtub and sink were clogged, soap rings in bathtub (not clean), a couple lights weren’t working in room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is extremely convenient and close to everything you need. Kids also enjoyed Easter Bunny visit and other activities in front lobby.

The suites are decent in size. The TVs are old and the size of a large tablet. Hair on the bathroom floor was a recurring issue, even though we stayed in different rooms on different dates. Parking is convenient and easy, with two parking options. The breakfast was basic and not particularly appealing, but I didn’t mind missing it. The only meat option was pork, which is a bit outdated. There were no waffles, and the eggs were unappetizing. There was no cheese either.

Communication to guests about amenities is not followed through upon when stated.

It’s clear some staff don’t care. And it’s clear some staff are truly trying.

The front staff were wonderful. The manager Britney was unavailable for a concern. My daughter and I used the hot tub yesterday. Our bathing suits ended up bleached out and ruined. They said they tested the chemicals and it was fine. There had to be some type of high level of chemicals to do this. Even today we both have a strong odor of a chlorine smell on our skin and some skin irritation. These are not cheap bathing suits. I rinsed mine as I always do. There should be some type of accountability or the manager at least being available. Next time there could be more severe adverse affects. An offering of a voucher would have been nice or at least some accountability. The staff was wonderful but the general manager was not helpful and did not look at the ruined bathing suits and picture of my daughter’s ruined bathing suit. This has never happened anywhere else. Britney, the manager could have at least talked to me and looked at the evidence.

There was a lot of garbage from the previous stayers left in our room. The floor really needed to be vacuumed and things cleaned like spots on walls wiped and stuff. Other than that, everything seemed clean. The breakfast was lacking, microwaved stuff. Hot tub was so chemically to at it burned our eyes and we couldn’t stay in it long. Pool was nice and a nice temp.

We did have to search a bit for an ice machine to find out we needed to head to the front desk, but the agent was very helpful.
The piano is a beautiful touch and adds to the atmosphere, but it makes it so VERY LOUD on a busy evening!
All in all it was a great stay. The young man that checked us in was very polite.

The staff was great. Unfortunately, my 12-yr old son found unidentified crusty stuff on the white comforter. He has been obsessed about the grossness an. All the lights didn't work or the dishwasher. Voices from another room came through the heating vent late into the night and early the next day. There were no towels at the pool. Parking was across a very busy street without a crosswalk in front of the hotel.

The room wasn’t available at 4 PM as advertised. Even worse, they said it would likely be another hour and a half to two hours before the room is ready. We drove over six hours to get there and had nowhere to get ready for our evening activities. We ended up changing in the back of a car and doing makeup in the rearview mirror. Worse over when we finally got into our room after 8 PM. The garbage is were still full from the people prior.

Check in was starting at 4PM, and our room wasn't ready, so we went to the next door brewery for an hour. Came back at 5PM, and still not ready, so we went to a nearby restaurant for dinner, and came back at 6:45PM... and yet again, the room wasn't cleaned. We ended up missing half the first period of the game, and luckily nothing happened during that part. At no point did they even offer any discount for the egregious delay, and I refused to ask, as I shouldn't have to do that. I never had that kind of thing happened before there, so I was pretty stunned about it all. I hope things go much better there on my next trip there.

We had an interior room which was helpful in keeping it warm enough. We stayed during a deep freeze and exterior rooms were staying very cold. It was roomy and very comfortable. There was a lot of noise from both hallways from people and kids going up and down but thankfully didn't last too long. The only downside was the hot tub was out of commission but Eric at the front desk more than made up for it with an alternative solution. We will definitely stay here again sometime.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good! Our room was dirty & dusty. There was a \"powder\" on the dresser. The bathroom floor was very dirty & hair all over. At some point, someone blew something up in the microwave & it was still there. Our room was very cold. I was told on the day of our departure, the the thermostat was most likely not set correctly. When i went to the desk on our second morning, that was not mentioned. departure, that there were more settings for the thermostat. We were also.told upon arrival that the hottub was down but should be running by the following day. It was not running when we departed 2 days later. Parking was very difficult on our 2nd night as well.

And fireplace was out of order. But I would highly recommend staying there. Just maybe check and make sure all their amenities are working before you go if you need them and I would go back there. Our plane was late so we did not get in until 10 PM. The staff was very friendly, the room clean with the full kitchen for us if we had stayed longer. But it was great to be able to walk across the street and get a delicious meal at a pub that stayed open until 2 AM. It will definitely be the place we go to stay when we have late night flights to Duluth. It's right in Canal Park.
