Everything you needed, you need to ask. No kitchen equipment supplied but you could ring down. Asked for a boiling kettle and tea/coffee but was told no and to use the coffee machine on the ground floor. Had a full kitchen but unable to use it for a cup of tea/coffee. Ended up going to buy a kettle for use in the room.

Could not have tea or coffee facilities as I was denied it by reception (guy with two sets of glasses) I was told to come into the lobby for coffee and tea and the machine was only on for breakfast and the other machine near it was never on!

Exceptionally comfortable stay
This was a lovely quality hotel. The accessible suite was so comfortable for my Mum who is in a wheelchair. Good quality fittings and very comfortable bed. Lots of extra features like a chair in shower and grab rails etc. a very large room with lots of storage. Staff were excellent and breakfast was amazing. We even were provided with an exceptional packed breakfast on our last day as we had to check out very early before breakfast began. We also ate in the restaurant one night which was of a very high standard. The view from the restaurant was lovely watching boats up and down the river.
Our only complaint was that an event being run in their function room was noisy until the early hours of the morning but reception were very apologetic.
I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again soon.

We arrived early (1030hrs) our room was ready, there was an early check in charge of 12 Euro which we thought was reasonable.
Our room was on the first floor it had a small enclosed balcony with a table and chairs which gave a view of the Rhine(it was a bit too cold to make use of this).
There was a large bedroom with lots of storage and a television ,it had a separate lounge and kitchen area with plenty of seating. There were no utensils or crockery I presume if we had asked they would have supplied it.The lounge also had a large tv.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.We had breakfast in the restaurant, it was nice to sit by the window watching the barges on the Rhine, again the staff were very friendly and efficient.
We had drinks with friends on a couple nights it was not expensive compared to other hotel bars. There is a spa and sauna which we didn't use they also offer bicycle hire. We had a very enjoyable week and will definitely return.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. Delicious breakfast, great dinner and very friendly staff. They have a bike storage as well. Great location for biking along the Rhein river.

To Hot to Handle
This is an interesting one. This hotel was quite grand at one point I think. It’s a great location and the staff are friendly and trying their best in these Covid days. However it all feels a bit rough around the edges and that those in charge are more concerned with counting the euros than customer care. For example we were there during a heatwave and the rooms were hot to the point of being unbearable ( from previous reviews this is a recurring issue). In addition although the rooms have a kitchenette the chillers ( not a fridge apparently) are regulated to not get cold. A visit to the local shopping centre we bought a decent fan for thirty euros which made the nighttime bearable. Dear Hotel Wesel - don’t reply to this by saying thank you for review instead splash out 3000 euros for one hundred fans. It may give the accounts manager a nervous moment but trust me it will be a wise investment and well received by your very hot customers.

This is an outstanding hotel on the Rhine River. The staff was professional and helpful and the rooms were spacious and immaculate. The buffet breakfast was top quality. There is a lake nearby, a mini golf park and biking and hiking trails. What a great find.

Extremely good value 4 star hotel with clean and spacious suites (separate bedroom and living area with small kitchenette. Staff are very friendly and efficient and breakfast is varied and plentiful. The meals and drinks are reasonable priced and of a high standard. We stayed over Christmas and were given 5 x star treatment. The overall quality of service was exceptional and one that many UK hotels could learn from. We will definitely be staying again.

Wenn schon eine Küchenzeile zur Verfügung gestellt wird, sollte diese wenigstens über eine Kaffeemaschine sowie ein Toaster verfügen. Des Weiteren wäre eine gewisse Anzahl unterschiedlicher Gläser (z.B. Sekt und Weingläser) sehr sinnvoll. Die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Rommelige aankomst, overal wagens met dekbedovertrekken die in de was moeten. 10 euro parkeergeld betaald, beetje erg raar in deze omgeving buiten de stad. De kamer was gedateerd en het bed was zeer matig. Tegenwoordig slaap je in Duitsland veel beter. De fytness was naast de sauna, te warm en benauwd om te kunnen sporten. Het woord fitness is zwaar overdreven, er staan 3 toestellen, een bank, loopband en fiets. Verders is er weinig te doen in dit Congreshotel. Ik had gehoopt dat er nog iets van een pingpongtafel stond of pool biljart. De receptioniste was zakelijk maar behulpzaam. Dit hotel is ingericht om bezoekers van een inhouse congres te huisvesten, ik bevel het mijn collega's niet aan om hier individueel zakelijk te slapen. Ik had de hoop op een luxere ervaring gezien de foto's. Helaas.

Silverfish in the bathroom, it wasn't the cleanest - shabby carpeting and dirt marks around one of the wall paintings. While it was nice to have a large room and balcony, with no kitchen utensils (you have to ask front desk for them) and \"green\" housekeeping (i.e. they don't want to pay for housekeepers or for new toilet rolls/soap refills) I don't think it justifies the price.
Outside soundproofing is good but inside not good. Kept awake by yelling children and thudding from above.

Bei der Ankunft streikte die Parkschranke, was die Einfahrt einige Zeit verzögerte. Da der Schaden auch in den folgenden Tagen nicht behoben wurde (Weihnachtstage) bescherte uns das kostenloses Parken. Die Suite war kein Komfortwunder aber in Ordnung, allerdings war der Teppichboden reichlich mitgenommen. Der Service funktionierte gut, die erbetenen Topper aufs Bett wurden umgehend gebracht.
Das (angemeldet) nicht benötigte und auch nicht in Anspruch genommene Frühstück führte nicht zur Reduktion des Gesamtpreises.

Ein bequemes Hotel in guter Lage nahe am Wasser. Architektonisch nicht der Hit – es sieht wie ein reines Geschäftshotel aus. Die Zimmer sind angenehm groß und bequem, ebenso die Betten. Die Dusche in unserem Zimmer war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Auswahl an Gerichten im Restaurant erschien uns nicht groß, das Frühstück von eher durchschnittlicher Qualität. Wir haben uns aber wohl gefühlt und eine herrliche Radtour durch die Rheinauen nach Xanten und zurück gemacht. Das Römermuseum dort ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Het grote hotel ligt aan de rijnpromenade en overal staan bankjes waar je de vele boten die over de Rijn varen kan bekijken. Ook is het een prachtig vertrekpunt voor (vlakke)fietstochten in de natuurgebieden in de uiterwaarden van de rivier. Lopend bereik je na 1,4 km het stadscentrum van Wesel met veel winkels en terrasjes. Dagtripjes naar Schloss Moyland en het historische stadscentrum van Xanten en de romeinse opgravingen daar met het Romermuseum vullen ook een dag.
