So many things stood out. The staff, the 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. snacks and non-alcoholic beverages available to all guests at all of the properties. I will return to an Astotel hotel in the future when I return to Paris. While the room was smaller than I would have liked, I learned that is indicative of most hotels in Paris.

I had an amazing stay here! The only thing is that the bathroom was so small I had to sit sideways on the toilet, and I am very short so definitely be wary of that if you’re taller than 5”4 lol. Otherwise, great location! There are some adult clubs and lots of sex shops nearby but there are also plenty of restaurants and fun things to do. Very good location, accessible, only a 30 minute bus/train ride to most tourist traps!

The staff were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to help me. The location is amazing close to restaurants, the main road, and metro and walkable to a lot of wonderful places. However, the hotel itself is a little run down. I know that rooms in Paris are small but this was extremely small and the toilet was right by the head of the bed. Under the mattress was torn and hanging, no closet, and the shower door had a huge gap so the water would leak out. The A/C was amazing though. It's okay for a day or two if you really need it, but I probably won't stay there again.

We had a terrific stay at Hotel Monterosa. Right from arrival in the very early morning, we were greeted warmly and our room was ready early. So helpful, as it was a late overnight flight for us. The room was perfect for two travellers, and had all we needed. Two beds, small desk and chair, renovated bathroom and windows that opened to the streets of Paris!

The hotel had darling little rooms with nice, colourful touches. It is in a great location, I’ve only ever stayed up near Montmartre in Paris and can recommend the area, it’s an easy walk down to the Seine. Metro stations, including Pigalle which allows access to Gare du Nord for the airport train and Eurostar, are all close by.
The staff were lovely and the free mini bar and soft drinks happy hour were lovely touches. My brother and I had a lovely stay and I would recommend the hotel.

The elevator is tiny and takes so very long to get moving that you wonder if you should just walk out. Limited services - like no ice on premise so you need to go to their sister hotel across the street in order to get a container of ice; and that's somewhat uncomfortable. Also, no washcloths. Clean bathroom, but shower is awkwardly designed to allow water getting outside of the shower area. You definitely have to make yourself small when taking a shower.

Although the hotel is in an older building, the rooms are updated and cute. The area was wonderful-within a 15 minute walk to Sacre Couer, Moulin Rouge, and the Opera House, but just so quiet and charming-not crowded like the other touristy areas. Plus, so many charming cafes and restaurants. The staff at the hotel was wonderful and so helpful, and the coffee, sodas, water, pastries and snacks they served all afternoon/evening were such a bonus! I would definitely stay here again.

We had a good 2 nights' stay in room 302.
The room was a good size for Paris.
The bathroom had a shower, toilet bowl, sink, and a shower gel bolted to the wall. Bring your own hair conditioner as they only provide hair/body wash.
The room had an open cloth cupboard with 5 sections and a space for hanging clothes.
The minibar had 2 mini bottles of still water, 1 sparkling water, 1 orange juice, and 1 Pepsi. The were replaced daily.
There was a kettle, tea, and coffee on the table and 1 chair.
The noise insulation was not great, but it did not matter as the street was quiet.
From 2pm there were coffee, tea, croissants, pain of chocolat, strawberry tart, madeleines, savoury nibbles such as mini pretzels and cheesy bites next to reception. The following day the strawberry tart was replaced by muffinses.
There was also a Smeg fridge with mineral water, Pepsi and some other soft drinks and also a microwave oven in the lobby.
There were some interesting picture books in the lobby fro you to browse.
There is a bus stop nearby for bus number 68 going directly to Opéra, Louvre, Musée d'Orsay and Rive Gauche.
We would happily stay there again.

Great stay for my first trip to Paris! Though rooms were small, especially with luggage, I managed to move around well. Balcony was a huge plus! Loved sitting outdoors with a decent view. Staff was amazing and super friendly! Tried their best to communicate in English and vice versa when I appreciate considering my French is very minimal lol. Would definitely recommend a loved one to stay here if they are ever traveling to Paris!

Got to the hotel and ac was broken and safe was also broken...no other rooms available to switch to so we cancelled reservation and found another hotel

The room was of a good size for Paris with a kettle with tea & coffee, free soft drinks and snacks available from the lobby and many cable channels in various languages.

Sound insulation not so good, I could hear doors banging & water flushing from time to time (not very early or very late) and needed earplug to sleep due to the noise from the street (traffic & people talking), which I think was due to a badly closing window or defective double-glazing.

We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely little hotel. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our every need especially a young lady named Maria at reception. Great area to stay as it is close to all amenities including cafes,restaurants and the metro. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We got to Hotel Monterosa pretty late and we were welcomed by Idir at the Reception desk. Idir was very attentive, informative, courteous, accommodating, helpful and welcoming. We were the last guest to check in that night, and we spent almost an hour at check-in talking and having fun with Idir. He gave us great advice as far as places to see, things to do and how to get around. He knew us so well, what we needed. Others personnel who were very helpful at the desk were Louis and German, Everyone was so nice and courteous. The room size was as expected, but very clean and comfortable. Our refrigerator was constantly re-stocked after every cleaning. We were pleased with the ability to eat the snacks and drinks offered by the hotel to all their guests in all the Astotel hotels. Joyce Hotel was right across the street and they were also nice and ready to help. Location wise, great location. Close to bus stops and subways. Less than 1/2 kilometer to Galeries Lafayette where we did a lot of shopping, less than 1/2 kilometer from Moulin Rouge and Sacre Couer. This hotel is highly recommended from my stand point.

The hotel is situated in quiet street within walking distance of Gard du Nord. Staff very friendly and helpful, plus spoke English. Room not large but clean and has everything needed incl free soft drink minibar & coffee/tea making facility. Large selection for breakfast (included in our rate) including some hot items ( bacon, sausage, omelette). Ingenious touch was the snacks left out buffet style for afternoon/evening, which could be enjoyed at any other hotel in the same group in Paris. Well located to get to major sights, we walked to most though this could be a stretch for some. Would recommend and would return

Location was close to restaurants but you do need to take transportation to get to any of the sites. Metro was within 2 blocks so that was convenient.

Situated midway between the very interesting Montmartre area and the shopping area of the Grande Boulevardes the hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and has several metro stations within 5 minutes walk. The hotel is very clean, quaint, and the staff members are very friendly. Some rooms have balconies and the hotel provides free soft mini bar and free open bar most of the day. The open bars at other Astohotels around Paris can also be accessed if you need a break and dome food and drink while walking this wonderful city.

Lovely hotel a few minutes away from a Metro st.
Lovely little hotel and easily found from the St George Metro station. The welcome and service from the receptionist was outstanding, made us feel very at home. Was given our key card and told we were on the top floor - got in a very tiny escalator which only fits 2 people. The room was a surprisingly a good size - after reading other reviews about the rooms being tiny, I was shocked. Very clean and the complimentary fridge with drinks was very good. The bed was a little on the hard side for me and on our first night (a Saturday night) there were LOUD people partying outside on the street until 2am, I assume they went home or inside due to a massive thunder storm. Was pleased to find a safe in the room to keep our passports and euros, very easy to use. Bathroom was a good size with an amazing shower! Overall a wonderful hotel and would definitely return to it.

Hotel Monterosa, is well located in Paris, everything is around, from nice Parisian Bistros around the hotel, to shopping in Haussmann boulevard, to all attractions nearby, to Metro stations around the corner.
The Hotel is very clean, the rooms are quiet small like all real estate in Paris but what really stands out is the staff from Henry the Reception Manager, to Rahma the dinning room waitress always extending their help and sometimes getting out of their way to make your stay pleasurable, also the daylong snacks and the very well balanced breakfast.
I really would recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Paris and want something in central location with all amenities and excellent services at a decent price.
