The 3 stars Hotel San Francesco is set just around the corner from Assisi's Basilica di San Francesco (Basilica of St. Francis).

A convenient elevator will take you up to the wide terrace that offers a unique setting of the charming view of the Basilica, the Sacred Convent and overlooking the surrounding hills. Located right in the city centre, from San Francesco everything you'll want to see in Assisi is just a short stroll away, including the main square and the Basilica di Santa Chiara.

The hotel has 44 rooms all with private bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, direct telephone, minibar, hairdryer. From some of them you can enjoy the picturesque view of the Basilica of St.

The hotel was very convenient to find off of the highway. The parking was excellent and we were able to drive downtown directly from the hotel. The room was large and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was awesome.

I like reception service.
Hotel is nice but it is far from eating places. I had a bad experience, because, they did not allow me to eat at the restaurant the first night, because, the personnel said that it was reserved for groups, I complained and I was allowed to eat the second night and it was poor and expensive meal. I consider it shall be a 3 stars hotel.

The welcome desk was very nice but not the people at the breakfast room. Poor coffee , not possible to ask for a second cup. The A/C at the room is blocked every time we leave the room and we had to come back to the main desk asking to unblock the system. The hotel smell very bad. Location is far from the Basilica. Overall is not recommended.

Gorgeous Property Would Stay Here Again!

Plenty of parking, great breakfast, amazing staff, and convenient to all we wanted to do! The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. We had a wonderful view of the Adriatic and surrounding countryside. An overall lovely stay!

Broken tub

There was a bath tub, but the stopper was broken, so had to use shower. Beware, the signs at Fiucimino airport leading to Hotels lead to the Hilton only. We had to get a cab from there to the Mercure €23.

Fantastic Hotel

This hotel is one that sticks in your mind. The staff were super friendly when we checked in. The location is wonderful; up on a hill with a great view of the Holy House Cathedral and the Sea! My room looked out over the city and the sea, while my friend had a great view of the Cathedral from her room.
The location is fantastic, the rooms were HUGE and comfortable--great value for what you pay!

Good hotel if you are visiting the The Basilica dela Santa Casa. Is not a walking distance but has a good parking and you can drive from there. Basilica is in the front Hill can be seen from the breakfast room

It is walking distance from the Basilica in Loreto but like many Italian road side walks not the most pleasant. Easy to find, easy on site parking. A modern but pleasant hotel which is genuinely trying hard. The rooms are modern, a bit stark/boring. Wifi is A bit slow. Shower, no bath. Eco, motion sensitive lights so walk around the stairs and floors in darkness for a while. Only stayed one night so accepted couldn't crank up the air con but annoying, though confident the staff would have fixed if asked. No coat hooks, warm wooden floor but a rug would be nice. Handy location. Good price. Would use again as a friendly, affordable base for the region.

Me and my wife stayed there 1 night only as we were catching the ferry on our next stop on our road trip and was so quiet and very comftable. I wish i spent some extra time in the area, but sure i will stop off on the way back.

Vad har jag råkat boka…

Hotellet ligger relativt nära sevärdheter vilket är bra. Mycket trevlig personal. Väldigt rent i rummen. Rent generellt var hotellet i dåligt skick med flagnande väggar och mycket smutsiga mattor i korridoren vilket gav ett ogästvänligt intryck. Vi besökte hotellet off-säsong och det kändes som att första natten var vi de enda gästerna på det stora hotellet. När vi kom fram kändes det som att komma fram till ett spökhotell. Personalen gjorde dock allt de kunde utifrån förutsättningarna .
Frukosten var nog bra utifrån italienska mått mätt men för gäster som önskar äta annat än kakor var det torftigt. Allt som allt en upplevelse vi kommer att komma ihåg men vi lär inte vilja besöka hotellet igen. Men allt eloge till personalen som ändå gjorde sitt bästa.
Utsikten från vårt rum var dock helt fantastisk mot basilikan.

Modernes gut ausgestattetes Hotel.

Wir waren eine Nacht im Hotel. Unser Zimmer 310 gab einen schönen Blick auf die Altstadt und die Basilika. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und sauber.
Leider haben wir die Nacht im Hotel nicht in guter Erinnerung, da das Zimmer durch einen klimatischen Kälteeinbruch extrem kalt war und es nur dünne Decken gab. Auf unsere Anfrage wurde mitgeteilt, dass die Heizung erst Ende Oktober eingeschaltet wird.
Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war schmackhaft.
WiFi funktionierte tadellos. Es stehen freie Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Zu Fuss gelangt man in 20 - 30 Minuten zur Basilika, doch der Weg ist steil und mühsam.

Hotel é lindo (apesar da mobilia da recepção ser bem antiga e cheira plastico velho).
A recepcionista é muito atenciosa e nos ajudou muito.
O quarto é bom, chuveiro muito bom, cama boa e toalhas limpinhas.
O hotel fica um pouco distante da estação de trem e do santuário para ir a pé (muita subida e descida)

Pas de chauffage dans les chambres après la mi octobre… meme avec une couverture supplémentaire froid glacial : il faut dormir tout habillé !

In linea di massime l'albergo è pulito. Personale cordiale è disponibile. Unico punto da sistemare è la colazione, siamo stati 14 gg è tutti i giorni le stesse cose, poca scelta, troppo ripetitivo al punto che vai fuori struttura per cambiare.
