On the left side of the bed there was an uncomfortable crease that made it nearly impossible to sleep. The staff asked us upon check-in if we’d been there before. We answered «no», then I was not given directions for the elevator, I had to ask how we got to our room. Only one pack of sugar free sweetener next to the kettle in our room. The breakfast was one of the highlights.

Nice hotel but always a little too warm!

I stay here quite regularly for work and usually dread the summer months as this hotel can be quite stuffy at night. Fortunately the weather was crap for my recent visit but it's still far to warm in the rooms for a good nights sleep. For info, the temperature controls do nothing - AC is turned off in all rooms.

Aside from that, the hotel is a very good standard with clean rooms and good facilities (breakfast is excellent)

Great hotel, but the entrance side of the building is a local late night party zone on Fridays and Saturdays nites. Such loud music till 3am made sleeping impossible.

Quick & fast check-in at reception with friendly & hive good info on parking. Beautiful & colorful deco. Aircondition is working coolingly at all time in the room. Good food & friendly service at breakfast .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The room was a bit on the tight side as getting around the bed with suitcases on the floor was a bit of a challenge, but we certainly managed. The evening light buffet was so helpful and a real bonus for the traveler who had put in a long day of sightseeing. The food was just excellent! I never saw so many choices of toppings for yogurt in my life! Definitely recommend this hotel.

Pleasantly surprised

Didn't expect too much when I booked this as I only booked it as the hotel recommended to me by a local was fully booked. However, I have no complaints after an enjoyable stay.

On check in I was told that there was a complimentary evening meal every day. I took advantage of this and the quality of the food was, although not exceptional, good. A different hot choice each night with cold meat, cheese, bread and fruit, plus unlimited tea and coffee. A real money saver.

Breakfast was also excellent, with a good choice of hot and cold food.

The staff in the restaurant were attentive but not overly so and I could come and go without being hassled.

When I looked at the description of the hotel, it did not mention the gym, so again I was pleased to find there was one and made the most of it.

The room was clean and well presented and the bed was comfortable.

The location of the hotel was excellent.

Bare en natt i forbindelse med jobb. Rakk ikke sjekke ut annet enn frokosten, som var kjempebra! Masse godt å velge mellom, og litt ekstra i forhold til standard frokoster på hoteller. Som smoothies, chiagrøt, ingefærjuice, veldig gode syltetøyer, oster m.m.

Egon restaurant med inngang fra resepsjonen. 3. Kino med inngang fra resepsjonen, og vi fikk med oss Blucher filmen. Som et ekstra lite \"egg\" fikk vi tilbud om kveldsmat i prisen! Takk for oss!!

Veldig fornøyd. Fikk et stort fint rom. Frokosten har hatt et større utvalg før, samt at kaffemaskinen var i ustand. Skulle gjerne hatt en cappuccino til frokost, men den økologiske kaffen de serverte var veldig god. Fornøyd med renhold og service. Kommer gjerne igjen.

Veldig stort og fint rom. Det er er et hotell med det lille ekstra, som shampoo flasker på badet, minibar, liten kaffemaskin osv. kjempegod frokost. Man får litt følelse at man er på ferie.

Ikke store rommet, men helt greit for en natt. Rent og fint og heldigvis tregulv og ikke tepper! Veldig stort utvalg til frokost! Nam! Regnet mye da vi var der og det regnet inn på terrassen ved frokostsalen. Sa ifra og da ble puter fjernet, men her trengs vedlikehold.

Hadde et fint opphold hos Thon Arendal. Sentralt hotell og fint rom i stille omgivelser. God frokost og nydelig utsikt fra frokostsalen.

Opplevde også suveren servicen fra de ansatte. Min kollega hedde f.eks. glemt sin mobillader og fikk låne resepsjonistens private lader over natta. Det var utrolig hyggelig gjort.

Eneste jeg savnet var litt bedre hodeputer, men jeg er muligens litt kresen.

Rommet var fint og åpent. Senga var god. Godt med puter. Minus er at man hører veldig mye støy fra utsiden. Kjøleskapet/minibaren bråket veldig tid til annen, selv på natten. Ene siden på laknet var flekkete. Badet bærte preg av at det var slitent. Utrolig trangt og flekker av mugg enkelte steder i dusjen..

Himmelsk frokost, i himmelse omgivelser \"roof top\"

Det er et veldig stille og behagelig hotell. Beliggenheten og - ikke minst - et svært godt trenings-rom - og en fantastisk frokost - hvor beliggenheten av frokostsalen i øverste etasje - gjør det vært å stå opp en halvtime før og bare nyte maten og utsikten.

Hvordan kunne dere si det sånt. Nøkkelkort virket ikke, hadde rød lys flere ganger. Måtte gå ned resepsjon og sa om nøkkelkort. De sa at jeg har UTSJEKK. Nooooo jeg har ikke utsjekket, så de vil ha mitt navn. Heldigvis jeg har mobil på meg. Vise henne. Så hun spurte meg hvor lenge jeg skal bo.., stoooooor naiv.. klokka var ikke 12.00 engang. Bare klokka var før 08.00 eller 8.30 noe sånt Sa jeg skal jo snart utsjekk IDAG
Hun sa aldri aldri aldri beklager eller unnskyld at de skyld på meg at jeg utsjekket selv om jeg har ikke gjort, Jeg var utsjekket på ordentlige kl 9.30…utrolige null unnskyld. Hun prate prate. Bruk mer skriver. Jeg er døv. På frkokoset ser jeg ikke noe smile… ingenting rydde. Feil skilt til pålegg. Mange mangler

Selve hotellet er bra. Rommet, tja - hva skal en si? Flott førsteinntrykk. Men senga sto på en hems, der det var veldig lavt under taket. Det ga utfordringer gjennom å skalle i taket en del ganger når en sto opp. Senga ganske myk og ikke så god å ligge i.
Godt tilbud av frokost.

Dårlig standard på dobbeltrom

Lite rom og badet var forferdelig. Skjoldete/ møkkete fliser. Masse fingeravtrykk over alt fra fete fingre e.l. Klaget og fikk nytt rom. Det var rent, men flere fliser var løse på badet og man kunne skjære seg ved å sparke i disse. Utsikten var ut i en tom bakgård, veldig grått og trist. Aircondition virket ikke på det rommet vi hadde. Frokosten var svært bra.Men helt uforståelig at dette er et 4 stjerners og ligger i dertil prisklasse.
