This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. The entire place from the lobby where you checked in to the room smelled terribly. My husband’s feet were black from walking on the carpet in the room. I thought it would be okay when I was booking it because it’s a Wyndham owned hotel. Not so much.

My room not only was dirty and tbe bathroom was moldy, the toilet was permanently running, the cabinet doors were literally off the hinges below the sink and the frudge was propped open, not working. I took pictures and showed the front office. Tbey switched my room, and it was equally bad. The shampoo and soap was covered in mildew, the floors were "crunchy" because they were not cleaned for so long, the shower had no hot water at all, and the tub/walls/bathroom floors had mildew stains.

I literally cannot believe just hkw bad this was. Avoid at all costs!

We usually stay at the super 8 by window.Because Renee is usually the one that sets up our reservation.And never , ever makes a mistake , and it always makes us feel welcome and at home. But when we found out , she was also working for the howard johnson , which is also by wyndham we thought , hey , let's give this room a. The room was even better than the super 8.And we enjoyed our stay even more but as usual, the stay would never be as pleasurable.If it wasn't renee who was the one greeting us with a smiling face and always a warm gesture welcoming us in and always giving us a fond farewell by our names. Not just okay.Have a great day.It's always okay , sarah and daniel have a good stay and always by sarah and daniel can't wait to see you again. You guys at super eight and howard johnson have a superstar on your hands when it comes to greeting clients , and I really believe that without renee , you wouldn't have the clientele count that you have now , she deserves a raise. You're amazing renee

It’s actually pretty nice for a motel so definitely worth the price! I do love Commerce as well and it’s really just a nice southern town where my family is all from so despite these kind of motels looking a tad bit sketchy usually, Commerce is much better safety wise than a place like Atlanta or in metro Atlanta. The Hibachi restaurant down the street is also one of my favorites ever and the portion sizes are insane - I had leftovers for 3 days!

Upon check in the staff couldn’t find my reservation after giving numerous identification and then they still couldnt locate reservation my money was deducted already then about four hours took the same amount again off my card so I decided to leave a day early it was too much continental breakfast was granola bars and coffee and then I checked and manager Tony called me to attempt to apologize but said that they needed to charge me 30 plus nore how inconvenient it was a horrible experience I have stayed at numerous Howard Johnson’s and never experienced anything like this

Well the first room we was given had mold on ceiling around the walls and on headboard to the bed. Second room was better no mold. But one morning no cleaning service done so I had to go get more towels, washcloths and bathroom paper. Then second day cleaning service tried to come in at 8 am with no knock or anything til the door was almost open.

Check in got to the room found a ski mask like robbers use call the front desk. They acted like it wasn’t a big deal. The floors were dirty. Had ear cleaners on floor, bathroom was disgusting. Don’t really have anything good to say about it. I’ve stayed in hotels days inns in bigger cities and paid less money and had the floors cleaned no weird ski mask like a robber, stains on sheets and bathroom in all the ones I’ve stayed in not this horrible I have stayed in Howard Johnson before and paid less than I paid for this one and once again, the floors were clean there is no mask on the floor. Nobody’s ear cleaners on the floor and the bathrooms were clean. This is ridiculous. Do better!!!!!!!

Room smelled like an ashtray. Curtains wouldn’t cover window completely. Stains on sheets and pillow cases. Hair in the bed and bathroom floor. Lamp shade had marks where cigarettes had been put out on it. We decided to drive home 5 hours in the middle of the night rather than stay in that place.

We checked in late which is our own fault but the room was dirty as if it wasnt really cleaned. There were dirty scraps of toilet paper on the bathroom floor, and debris of all sorts. The trash bin had something spilled in it like cocacola or chocolate. It was just nasty. I wouldnt reccomend this hotel to anyone. Not worth the price by any means.

The stay was friendly but our room was rather unkept. The beds looked as if they had not been cleaned and the bed was clumsily made. There was a dirty sock in the corner of the bed. Graffiti was on a photo against the wall. The bath tub had broken shelves and the room smelled like cigarettes and mold. The floor was in need of a major vacuuming.

There was also quite a bit of activity in the adjacent hotel that was just beside “Super 8” it “appeared” as if lots of women were going back and forth in the short amount of time we were there. The batteries on our security door went bad and we had to wait until someone could fix it before we could get back in our room.

I was traveling with my younge daughter and niece and I did ask the clerk if this was a safe area and she told me yes.
However I felt just the opposite.

Again the staff was very friendly and prompt but the rooms were not good and the area was not safe feeling.

This property should be shut down. Expedia/motel website doesn't have ONE good endorsement. From cockroaches and spiders in the beds to on the floors and walls, smells, dirty, windows filthy. I requested a refund from expedia from this place, it should be REMOVED from the available motels in Commerce, Georgia by Expedia for their own reputation.

The room itself was fine. It was clean. However, there was no cable or even local TV. To watch anything other than free streaming, I had to enter personal subscription info - bad on a fall Sat night when I want to watch college football and/or MLB playoff games. I've never stayed somewhere that didn't even provide local channels. The reservation was for 2 queen beds, but at first, gave me a 1 queen room. Once I asked, they switched it for me - which was fine. I'm just not sure why they did not give me what I reserved in the first place. The coffee maker in the room was unusable because the part that holds the filter was missing. Signs said breakfast was not available due to COVID-19. Not trying to start a political debate about this, but guests should know this. At this point, many other places have brought back their breakfast options. If guests are concerned, they can choose not to eat.

I got a room for 4 nights. Cockroach infested! killing about 10-20 a day. The cleaning lady said she would clean it. She never came back and never did clean. The bathroom had green and black mold all over the walls. When i checked in it looked like 2-3 months of built up dirt and trash in all the corners of the room. I can tell when they vacuum they never pull the furniture away from the wall. No matter how bad it is.

This place is a dump! It’s an old building bit that is no excuse for the filth. Parking lot was full of trash. Grass was cut I. Some areas, and other area’s looked like it had been cut after months of not being cut so dead grass and trash everywhere. Walking in room we were hit with an odor ! Just rank! Beds were nice but not sure if sheets had been changed. Around the tub Was gross and had someone else’s body hair In Bottom. Will NEVER EVER stay here again.

Took forever to check in. Staff were talking foreign in front of me. Room was nasty. Roaches in bathroom. Bed was hard - like you were sleeping on metal rods. Guest had to pay for t.v. I think it would be best to tear down the whole place and build something new. Worst I have ever been in in my life.

Front staff was very nice and accommodated to my needs being disabled in a wheelchair. I got into my room it stunk pretty bad, there were roaches, the bed is not disabled friendly. It like to almost slid off the bed when getting on it. No shower curtain in the bathroom. The room door does not close fully. I had to put my chair in front of it even though the door was locked from the outside. No matter what you do to lock it from the inside the door still has a crack in it from not closing fully. Also it doesn't seem to actually lock from the inside.

Beds didn’t even have a bedspread on them; one lamp didn’t work, no nightstands except one small one between them. Had to sit in corner of room in a stained chair to be able to use phone while plugged in to one of 2 outlets in the entire room. Carpet was coming up in doorway of bathroom; walls had stains on them. The owners of this property seem friendly enough and staff accommodated my request for additional towels after they were not replaced after one night. However The condition of this building is distressed. Rusted grill grates, toilet paper frame. Inside We found cigarette burns in the bedding and tray. One lamp didn’t work. A few outlets were faulty as well. The furniture is dated. The bed frame sheets were dirty. The room had decent accents though. I can understand the struggle to keep up given the troubles that the pandemic likely caused but I would not return.

The staff was nice enough. However the property was unclean. Trash (small baggies) was all over property from parking lot to stairs. Numbers to my room had been peeled off. Shower curtian was discolored due to mold and mildew build up. Tub had not been scrubbed. Toliet wasnt bolted down. Tp holder came out if wall if used. Had to sleep with lighta on to keep roaches hiding. Funiture had water damage possible mold. No cable roku tv with i suppose owners info for hulu/netflix/etc.
Other guest seemed to be extended stay guest, whom seemed shaddy and on something.
Ive been in cheaper motels that so much better than this. Needs major remodel, pest control, and room cleaner that actually CLEANS! Have seen truckstop and dive bar bath rooms cleaner than this.
