A wonderful hotel and a great find. I'll stay here again. The hotel was big, clean, modern and had all the amenities I needed. I arrived stressed and left relaxed. The spa was superb - one of the best I've stayed in. The food and breakfast was superb. Room was nice and clean. I was able to charge my car, for a price. OK, there were several things I had to pay for on top, but this didn't spoil my stay. Note to Hotel Manager - your front desk team were efficient, but a few smiles (not as extreme as Disneyland!) would add value for guests!

Nice hotel, but make sure you read the description

It’s funny I traveled for 34 days internationally and it was at this hotel where I have my only communication problem with the one of the people at the front desk. It eventually worked itself out, and of course, the issues really may not being able to speak German. The other thing is, I didn’t realize it was a big conference hotel so the amenities Reflected that but they were nice. I actually had two rooms and where mine was very nice. The other the other one was somewhat bargain basement and had no air-conditioning. Luckily the gentleman at the front desk who was definitely able to understand my concerns found us a different room that did have air conditioning and packed was a lot nicer. So I think this might be a hotel that gives online bookings some of the less favorable room so I would definitely read the prescription.

Great location Hotel .

As a couple on a few days stay at this hotel it had some pitfalls due to it being really a business hotel with a conference facility. The room was excellent, the staff were excellent as well (especially Reception) but when hordes of business guests arrive/eat/drink in the hotel it gets not very holidayish for us! Overall probably 7 out of 10 as Reception were so good at providing advice and tickets (yes Tram/train tickets) . Parking a bit pricey at 24Euros a day , but it was underground and secure. Location was excellent on the lake and the exterior bar gave great views over the water and many chairs for relaxing in. The Tram stop is just outside and takes you into Potsdam - a very nice town .

We had a very bad experience (also due to some bad luck, so our overall rating is better than our particular experience, which would only be 1 star). In detail:

Good: The staff we interacted with tried to be helpful and the hotel has a cute huge teddy bear in the entrance area. Also, the room was clean at least.

Bad: The hotel appears to be far away from 4 star standards. Minor issues include boring, uninspiring, small-ish rooms; lack of toothpaste (but sewing tools??); TV lacks settings (or they didn't work, it was way too bright when we watched the CL final in late evening); small shower; only two usable towels (for two people); pillows very low (although we realized later that other pillows would have been available in the lobby).

The main issue for us was that we only booked the hotel to have a good night's sleep before a sporting competition in the early morning. However, we only had a terrible and short night because the room was uncomfortably hot as the AC didn't work; the duvets were way too thick (in particular for summer); necessarily keeping the door open to the shared balcony created noise (actually frogs were very loud the whole night) in addition to a potential security issue. Staff brought us a fan in the middle of the night which helped somewhat. I realize that these problems would not be as severe during winter.

Our price of EUR 144 plus EUR 22 for breakfast (which we skipped to get a bit extra sleep in the cool morning) was absurd.

Die Lage des Hotels ist ruhig und schön. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr gut. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ziemlich schlecht. Das Frühstück war nicht im Preis inbegriffen, obwohl es bei der Online-Buchung inbegriffen war, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war ziemlich schlecht. Das Restaurantpersonal ist sehr freundlich.

The room I had overlooked a very noisy area where people drinking and shouting meant that the windows had to be kept closed in the evenings. This left the unairconditioned room very hot and uncomfortable. Staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. Meals were good with a variety of choices in their “Lemon” restaurant.

The staff was friendly, hotel was generally clean and it was a good location for a conference.
The room was too small even for a cheaper room for a four star hotel. My room was a bit stuffy and smelled like cigarettes. I didn't complain cause the hotel was full anyway and the staff had enough to do, plus I was only staying for two nights.
It felt more like a 3 star hotel rather than 4.

This property is quite a distance from Berlin if you are using it as a base, but is a short walking distance to the bus, train and tram stops.
The hotel itself is well-represented and friendly despite its large size.
We did not use the fitness facilities or have breakfast but I believe an improved fitness facility will be opening next year.
We had a meal in the bar one evening which was good quality. The atmosphere in the bar was great and service friendly.

Nicely situated for lake and public transport. Excellent room and breakfast. Large number of bikes for hire but all city bikes, not trekking. Restaurant was expensive but bar snacks were very good and affordable.
We were not told in advance that leisure facilities were closed for renovation.

We stayed in Potsdam for 2 nights while on a week long trip to Berlin. We booked last minute so this was the only hotel left. Wouldn’t have been first choice as quite far from city centre.

Room - we stayed in a premium double room. It was huge with a big bathroom. There was air conditioning which we needed as it was 30 degrees when we we there.

Location - 20 min tram journey. Tram comes every 20 minutes. It is quite far from centre but this didn’t bother us huge amount as we rented bikes from the hotel and cycled everywhere. Nice location near a lake.

Overall great hotel, very clean and tidy. A little far from centre but we had an enjoyable stay.

Combination of resort and conference hotel. Nice environment and rooms, most with views of lakes or woods. Good food. Location a bit outside Potsdam but not too far. Can be confusing to get to some rooms, so check for directions in advance. Nice, helpful, staff.

The hotel was really nice, clean and the room was so spacious it was perfect for a family of 2 adults and 3 children. I would definitely stay here again. It was close to the tram and you could purchase tickets from the reception.
The only negatives were that I wasn’t aware there was an extra €10 per night charge to have the put up bed in the room and also a charge to use the car park. This was paid on checking out after the room had been paid for.

We stayed in the family room for two nights and it was a nice size room for Germany! The hotel is used for conferences so the rooms are a good distance from the lobby. As an American who loves ice :) I was so excited when I called down to the bar and found that they had ice at no charge! Lol
I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent high end hotel to just chill !!!!

Excellent location to just relax and enjoy the nature. It is a short drive to Berlin about 20-40 mins drive if one wants to enjoy a busy hectic city life. The city center of Potsdam is only a few km away. There are a lot of restaurents and sightseeing places but I didn't have the chance to see them due to my hectic work schedule. Overall one of the best hotels in the region to relax and so I will definitely go back on my leisure time.

Pleasant hotel in great location

We spent one night in July in this fairly nice, very large hotel. Our junior suite did not disappoint in both size and quality. Lot's of things to do in and around the hotel with or without kids as there is a massive sport complex, playgrounds, lake and walking paths. The price is slightly higher than similar properties in the area.

Hello! the rooms were very clean and hotel staff was very helpful. They are happy to store your luggage (in its own locked space!) when you need to check out. A bit far from town, but right off the tram line so it is still super easy to sight see and is great for a conference. Breakfast was a wonderful spread, and overall i was pleased.

The hotel is fabulous: clean, airy, comfortable in a green surrounding. The hotel staff was excellent too: courteous, accommodating, very pleasant. The front desk helped me sort out transportation and laptop connection issues with patience. The hotel breakfast is also excellent though I'd have liked small a la carte options rather than the full buffet (only) service. The only issue was its location, which was not convenient for my work meetings held in Sanssouci/Neue Palais.

Alles in allem positiv überrascht. Trotz der Größe ein sauberes, gutes und übersichtliches Hotel mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten.
Ein wirklich großer Wellnessbereich mit viel Auswahl.
Frühstücksbuefett ausreichend inkl. frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen.
Sehr nettes Serviceteam im gesamten Komplex.
Aber:
24€ fürs parken ab 12Std, zu wenig Hacken im Badezimmer (Premium) und sicherlich keine 30Grad Wassertemperatur im Wellnessbereich sind dann doch 1 Stern Abzug.

Trotzdem: jederzeit gerne wieder.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen. Bis zu unserem Zimmer mussten wir jedes Mal eine Gehstrecke von 200 m quer durch Die Kongress Aussteller in Kauf nehmen. Als erstes wurden wir gefragt, ob wir den Zimmerservice haben möchten oder lieber nicht. Das finde ich in einem Hotel etwas befremdlich. Das Zimmer war sauber sehr schön groß und hell, jedoch könnte man Noch etwas an der Deco arbeiten. Der Wellnessbereich mit Schwimmbad war perfekt hier auf jeden Fall fünf Sterne! Das Hotel war sauber, jedoch warteten wir am letzten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes vergeblich auf den Zimmerservice. Insgesamt wohl doch eher was für Kongress -Teilnehmer und nicht für private Aufenthalte gedacht.

Das Hotel überzeugt sowohl mit den Standards der Zimmer, als auch mit der Lage am See, den Annehmlichkeiten der Freizeitgestaltung sowie die gute Anbindung nach Potsdam.
Hier lässt sich gut Zeit auf der Hotelanlage verbringen, mit Sportangeboten, Ruhebereichen und Wellnessanlage, als auch Tagesausflüge nach Potsdam und Berlin unternehmen.
Wir kommen gerne wieder her.

Das ein Hotel dieser Klasse nicht auf die enorme Hitze reagiert und seinen Gästen im Hause keine Möglichkeit für einen Kaffee bietet ist völlig in akzeptabel und ein krasser managementfehler! Das geht gar nicht. Deshalb werde ich das Haus nicht mehr aufsuchen.

Die Unterkunft und das Ambiente waren sehr schön und großzuegig.Die Ruhe hat uns gutgetan.Die Auswahl des Abendessen war sehr vielfältig.da ichdie Histaminintolleranz habe konnte ich beim Frühstück leider nicht sehr vieles zu mir nehmen.
Das nächste mal würde ich ein anderes Zimmer buchen ,da mein Lebensgefährte teilweise einen Rollstuhl benötigt.Die Spaeinrichtung war sehr gut.

Stort och fint - underbar pool

Mycket stort och fint hotell, man märker fyra stjärnor.
Poolen och två bastu är fantastiska (damer o herrar i samma😉)
Hotellet är flera byggnader så det kan bli lite att gå ibland.
Vi skippade frukosten då fyra personer hade blivit 1000 kr per morgon 😳.
Det bil för att hämta pizza eller ta sig till stan fast spårvagn är ju mysigt.

Schönes Hotel, Studio Zimmer war neu und sauber.
Allerdings die Zimmer ohne eigenen „richtigen“ Balkon, sondern umlaufendes Gitter aus Metall, so dass man von außen hätte in die Zimmer sehen können. Ungünstig weil wir so immer zuziehen mussten und nicht bei offener Balkontür schlafen konnten.

Ein 4 Sterne Hotel in dem die meisten Zimmer nur ein 3-Sterne-Niveau haben. Nicht 4 Sterne Niveau: Größe vieler Zimmer, die meisten habe auch keinen Kühlschrank und keine Klimaanlage.
Die Freundlichkeit des Hotelpersonals ist sehr unterschiedlich. Wenn man früher als 10 Uhr den Wellnessbereich betritt, dann kommt kein \"Guten Morgen, kann ich Ihnen helfen?\". Es kommt ein \"Was suchen Sie hier!\" Man kann den Wellnessbereich als Gast kostenlos nutzen, aber nicht in jedem Zimmer befindet sich ein Bademantel. Man kann sich diesen für 10 EU ausleihen. Hoch sind meiner Ansicht nach die Parkgebühren 24 EU und die Kosten für einen Hund 20 EU pro Tag(man bekommt dafür ein paar kleine Leckerlis, einen Napf, eine Decke (kein Körbchen) und eine WINDEL!!!)

Herrlicher Ort. Auch für Autos mit >2m Höhe Tiefgaragenstellplätze vorhanden. Einrichtung nicht mehr zeitgemäß, gleichzeitig gut erhalten und - in unserem Fall - das Apartment mit Balkon war zum absoluten Wohlfühlen.

Überzogene Preise, keine Handtücher im Spa, nur gegen Extragebühr.
Leider ein „No go“ bei den Hotelpreisen.
Zugänge zum Treppenhaus, bzw. Fahrstühlen nur mit zusätzlichen Türen. Wer mit Gepäck anreist, der hat es nicht leicht in diesem Hotel.
Das Ambiente am Wasser war sehr schön, im Gegensatz zu den oben genannten Punkten.

In einem 4 Sterne Hotel erwarte ich zumindedt in der Lobby einen Wasserspender und einen Kaffeeautomaten.
Schön wäre auch die Möglichkeit zu einem normalen Frühstück....nicht jeder möchte so reichhaltig und kostenintensiv Frühstücken.
