The Manor House Inn is outstanding. It is unique and special. We had never stayed at an Inn like this and were blown away. The entire Inn was spotless and Blair was a lovely hostess. We attended a concert at the Infinity Hall which is within walking distance. Breakfast was included and it was fresh and delicious, served in a charming dining area. Norfolk is a quiet town and the Inn was a great find!

A Wonderful Hidden Gem
A charming old manor from the Gilded Age, thoughtfully updated and modernized without losing the soul of the original home. Incredibly comfortable rooms, inviting common spaces, excellent breakfast, beautiful grounds, and friendly staff. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in our room. Perfect for a romantic getaway, we look forward to visiting again in the future.

My husband and I wanted a quiet place with a real, functional fireplace for the weekend. We were thrilled to find Manor House, which was exactly as described. Our hosts Nice and Drew were a pleasure the be around and prepared a wonderful homemade style breakfast for the guests. We had a great time there and are hoping to return another day.

Lovely in and the innkeepers, Adam and Kristen, are very friendly and helpful. They staggered the breakfast to keep us all safe which we appreciated. Food was great. Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Check in was very easy. Only downside is bed is really tall (I’m short) and medium comfort.

Our only diasppointment was that we couldn’t stay longer. This is an old historic property, in excellent condition, and it’s fun to imagine living in such a place back in the day. The hosts, Adam and Kristen, were great. However, it might be difficult for people who can’t do stairs, or like chain hotels. We recommend for people who enjoy interesting vintage properties in very picturesque towns. we want to return!

Beautiful property, quiet room, nice breakfast served by friendly owners. We will go back. We stayed in the \"Victorian suite\" because it was unseasonably cold and we wanted the gas fireplace. It was a little odd to have the bath in the room, though, so we'll probably get a different room next time. But overall it was an excellent stay and I recommend.

Manor House Inn is a wonderful place to stay in Norfolk. It's an old mansion that has been preserved; so it looks like it must have looked a hundred years ago. I've stayed there three times in two different rooms, and the experience was always excellent. Innkeepers Kristen and Adam are very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfasts. There isn't a lot to do in Norfolk--except for musical shows at Infinity Hall several nights each week--and the classical music festival in the summer. Also, Norfolk has an excellent library for a small town. It's a very nice getaway into the country.

My husband and I stayed one night at the manor house inn and we loved it! Its all in the small details! We loved our room and were welcomed with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne! We highly recommend staying here and we will be back!

We have stayed at Manor House many times over the years; this was our second time with new owners, Adam and Kristen. Everything was beautiful and clean as always, but our party found the breakfast provided to be fairly anemic for a bed and breakfast. The food served was delicious (but one of our party did not like the spicy sausage), but only those with very small appetites would have been satisfied with the small serving of one slice of avocado toast with one egg and two small sausage links. One of the draws for bed and breakfasts (at least for us) is the splendid breakfasts that are generally offered. I would suggest that the innkeepers at least add a selection of muffins, scones, or other bread to the breakfast table. It is important to remember that both BED and BREAKFAST must be memorable in a B&B.

Had a wonderful weekend. We were looking for a quiet reflective weekend with as little invasion of our troubled world as possible...we found it here. Great hosts, delicious breakfasts, and clean, neat accommodations. No TV in the rooms...but you won't miss it. Enjoy the peace, walk to the village, learn some history, and relax. Due to traffic, I was going to arrive close to 8 p.m. on a Friday night. Patti (one of the inn keepers) was kind enough to call me and let me know that the front door of the manor would be open and my room would be ready. It was perfect.
I noticed something different since I had stayed here two previous occasions. My first stay, the bathroom amenities were great: shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, bar of soap and moisturizing lotion. This time, there was just a bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo. I was glad I had packed conditioner and lotion! Breakfast the next morning was delicious and Patti was a very gracious hostess.

If you get the right room
This stay was a real mixed bag. Michael, one of the owners, was extremely pleasant and helpful. His wife can take or leave your being there. The house is gorgeous and quite welcoming. Our room, on the third floor was dark with steep stairway, an old, huge and loud air conditioner... occupying the only window. The room was dark and in need a cosmetic overhaul. All that being said, they should have been charging 1/2 the cost of the room. We asked for an alternative room. Unfortunately, we couldn't move to another room as the B&B was full. Again, Michael was very generous of spirit. Also, in fairness to him, we didn't ever ask for a refund or lowering of the price. We should have.

This place is absolutely beautiful. And OMG - the tub. After spending the day at the racetrack and being all hot and sweaty, the giant tub was a lifesaver. The Innkeeper is very gracious and helpful. We were able to just hang out on the grounds after check out and relax until it was time to head home. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely, historic mansion with up-to-date amenities
We stayed at the mansion around our Limerock race day, so it was 15-20 minutes away- no problem. The gardens and house are lovely, and although it was built in 1898, we had a proper albeit small shower and all the comforts of a regular hotel. Richard, the new caretaker, was quite congenial and very service-oriented - not something you always see in B&Bs. Coffee was always available, as was wine at night, and breakfast was just right. would recommend it as a base for events our hikes in the surrounding area.

This is a comfortable in with friendly innkeepers who care about what they do. The location provides easy access to scenic areas for hiking or driving and is within reasonable driving distance to Berkshires, Tanglewood, and other neighboring areas. There are two or three very good restaurants almost around the corner from the Manor House Inn itself. We definitely enjoyed our two-night stay. The house is a beautiful example of turn of the century architecture on a beautiful well-maintained and spacious surrounding lawns. We would be glad to return for another fine weekend getaway from Boston.
