The bed coverings were stained, the pillows were very lumpy, the bathroom mat had brown stains on it. I cancelled my reservation and expect a refund. There was a strange man hanging around the front. There was a family “ living “ in the back. I don’t recommend this hotel at all!!

Parking lot filthy dirty, alcohol bottles, trash all over. Upon arrival I see 2 guys climbing out window from their room. Back door is never locked, area around it also filthy including hallway inside.
NOT at all pet friendly, no where to walk dog
All night long people yelling, fighting, etc front desk does nothing.
Room (bed area) clean, tub so disgusting I wouldn't go in it.

Minor quips:
• Lack of housekeeping - I wasn't expecting or wanting fresh sheets/towels every day (3 day stay) but a TP restock would've been nice.
• Smoke detector light directly above the bed had me feeling like I was about to be abducted by very small aliens.
• A/C - this is a personal preference as I like it cold when I go to sleep, but it's February so I get the lack of cooling. Heat worked fine.

This property is so old and dirty and has holes mold fingerprints spots and more mold covered in caulk… it is very noisy street noise and people walking around . Carpet is stained and torn. Furnishings and old and battered. Breakfast was slim pickings if you dared pick. We were on first floor and door from back into hallway was not and did not lock. What I really do want to say is that the staff (2people) I was in contact were very kind and friendly and over helpful. Thank you for that! I travel often and at all levels BUT this was the worst place I’ve stayed I can remember.

I was only there to sleep overnight as most other places were booked - this had 3 star rating and was cheap (ish) so took my chances. The front desk lady was polite and happy no issues there. Was directed to my room on 3rd floor - up stairs - no biggie, but the stairs and hallway carpet smelled like piss - not sure if human or cat but it was bad. Luckily my room did not smell like piss but I had 2 beds - first one the comforter had large stains on it so I walked over to the 2nd bed - large spider hanging out on the pillow which then found it's way across the room. Sighed and fell asleep. Decided to not eat their breakfast and left early to get back on the road. I am in this area every month or two but would not return here.

Convenient location. Everything was good, not great. Met expectations for the price and location. Solid three stars all-around. Room was comfortable, but a bit small. No dresser or drawers. Front desk staff was friendly, but overworked. Nobody there when we went to check in an when we went back the next morning to get a room key fixed. Overall condition is a bit tired, but they said that renovations are underway.

Very noisy! External noise of traffic understandable but internal plumbing noises all night were concerning. Mold in shower was sealed over with clear caulking, tub area very poor.
People sitting at motel entrance on the ground smoking and processed food smells in the lobby aren’t a good introduction.

There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink was filthy on the inside. The air conditioner is extremely outdated and makes a loud noise the entire time it’s blowing air. Absolutely Horrible and Unsafe – Avoid at All Costs!

This was hands down the worst hotel experience of my life. I stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Torrington and left genuinely shocked by the condition of the place and the way I was treated.

First, the property is disgusting, the rooms are extremely old, dirty, and smell terrible. Right before entering, we saw a huge snake right outside the main entrance. A real snake, not a joke. I ran away and had to use the side door just to get in. This is clearly due to the owner’s refusal to use pest control, likely trying to save money at the cost of guest safety.

As if that wasn’t enough, the owner knocked on my door at 11:00 AM for checkout. I politely asked for a late checkout and he said it would be $50 to stay until 12:30 PM, ridiculous considering the room itself cost $110 for the night. When I declined, he said “no problem, you can stay until 2:30 PM.” I thanked him and went back to rest.

Then at 1:00 PM, he banged on the door, and when I opened it, he immediately started screaming, threatening us, and trying to physically confront me. Completely unprofessional and honestly scary. I felt unsafe and completely disrespected.

Do not stay here. Between the lack of cleanliness, pest risks, and the dangerously aggressive behavior of the owner, this hotel is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Spend your money elsewhere — anywhere else is better than this place.

Drug dealers, drug patrons and prostitutes seen in parking lot. The motel room was stripped of all amenities and had no drain control in vanity or tub. The beverage dispenser was out of service and our inquiry revealed from manager no plans to repair it. There was no place to sit no chairs in the room. No closet in the room. Telephone in room lacked instructions for use.

I waited and tried again with no success. Then finally I was able to get warm water for 4 minutes. Enough to finish my shower. It went cold as I was ready to get out. I don’t take long showers btw. Needed a place to stay for the night was exhausted from riding my motorcycle all day. I requested a room on the first floor towards the back where I parked my bike. They were accommodating to my request and welcome to me and my service dog.
The room was clean but had a stale almost musty smell to not only that room but the whole first floor which is halfway underground. The hot water didn't get that hot but was able to take a bath the tub is quite small and difficult to get in and out of. It was quite noisy until about midnight the traffic is insane there and the sound of opening and closing doors is quite loud.
They offer a continental breakfast but it consists of stale cereal and cheap bagels and bread to toast. The coffee was okay.
It's one of the cheaper hotels in the area and you get what you pay for.

I must say room appeared clean. No musty smells no smoke smells. But general building is run down and not inviting! Toilet seat extremely loose and unsafe. No roll for toilet paper - broken. Paint on Bathroom walls looked like someone just threw paint on it. No towel racks.
Old mattresses way too soft.
Breakfast nook awful with sour milk - nothing appetizing except toast. Way too expensive for such an awfully run down place. Extremely disappointed. Not giving Days Inn a good reputation. In fact, i will not book a room with Days Inn again, Anywhere!!! And i travel a lot!
