Every single member of the staff was welcoming, kind, and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the room was just stunning with the balcony view of the water. Taxi stand are very close and there are many nice restaurants within walking distance. Please note that you have to go down to the desk for a different key if you want to use the gym or pool. Highly recommend this hotel. Pay extra for the water view!

My superior king room with a water view is quite large. It has 2 balconies. Simple room but workable. Nothing luxury at all. I believe is the largest room on the 9th floor. Breakfast is ok, nothing fancy. But, it has a good selection of cakes, cupcakes.

We stayed 2 nights hotel staff,location and cleanliness all great.Silly things not so great for a 4 star hotel .
Breakfast bacon was cold eggs pre cooked and left. In the room toilet roll is near on transparent
Water glasses were paper cups. Also no tea spoons just tiny sticks .

I wish they would have the pool open. It was very hot and it was a beautiful pool but you couldn’t use it because it wasn’t the summertime so my suggestion to them is that they opened up the pool a month earlier that’s just me.

When booking thru Hotels . Com they advertise the hotel has a pool but neglect to mention that it is only open for the summer at the hotel’s discretion after checking with hotel staff they expect to open the pool June 6th. Our stay was May 28-to June 1. The hotel site does say it’s closed until summer.

All the staff were exceptional, friendly and offered advice, and useful information.Top tip - Pick up a map from the front desk. The location on the bay front was picturesque especially at night. Everything we needed was within walking distance and if we wanted to venture further a taxi rank was just around the corner. We enjoyed the Elements bar and a special mention to the two staff called Rita! Their cocktails were very popular with us .There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the best coffee. Whether you like pastries, cereals yoghurts or cooked food, it was available. The room had an ensuite with a good shower and was serviced every day. The towels were large bath towels, nice and soft. The hotel had lifts to every floor, and it was good that there was comfortable seating in both the reception area and the bar.Although evening meals were available in the hotel,we either walked across the bridge to the far end near all the boat moorings and found restaurant there or went slightly away from the harbour inland. There is also a Gelato shop just next to the hotel. We were slightly disappointed that the swimming pool on the top floor was not ready in mid may but I believe it opens in June. We will stay here again in the future if coming to Naples.

The room looked ok on first imspection, but then we noticed under the bed hadnt been cleaned for a long time, hairs, dust and large bits of dirt under there. Also the bathroom had a shower over a very tight bath, even though the bathroom had room for a wider bath. It made showering difficult. We also had an issue of very noisey neighbours (furniture being moved, shouting and swearing and abusive langage) the last night of our trip from 00.30am to 03.00am and we rang reception and went down twice but not much was done, other than to tell us in the morning the loud american lady needed some drugs from the pharmacy as she had issues and that they had been upstairs 3 times and didnt hear anything. They did offer to move us to a different room around 02.30am, but we were due to get up in a few hours after that to pack to go to the airport so not much point.

Location of the hotel could not be better.

A couple of gripes though. The roof swimming pool does not open until June 1st. Disappointing for those that like cold water swimming. There is the sea of course but not really suitable close to the hotel.

I thought the breakfast was disappointing. The fruit salad seemed to consist of only tinned peaches and lots of pineapple (even in the mixed fruit choice)
There was only full fat (UHT) milk or soya (I think?) No skimmed or semi skimmed. The bread choice was disappointing.
I cannot comment on the choice in the cooked breakfast as I (despite being British) do not eat them.
The staff at breakfast were excellent and very attentive. Well done.

Wouls I stay at the hotel again? Yes certainly.

We had a wonderful three-night stay for my birthday celebrations. The location is perfect, with beautiful views, easy access to everything in the city, and plenty of lovely restaurants nearby. Our room was spotless and very comfortable throughout our stay.

What really made the experience special was the staff — everyone was so attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make my birthday stay feel extra special. We truly felt welcomed and well looked after from start to finish.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Naples and would happily stay here again.

Hotel is in a great location on the sea front. We had great stay, it was our friends birthday whilst we were there and they really helped to make her day special. Great staff and nice rooms.

We were very lucky they kindly upgraded our rooms.

It is not clear on Expedia that the standard rooms are actually internal rooms, which would have been very disappointing. So I think that should be made clearer, obviously not the hotels fault.

Would definitely stay here again if I return to Naples.

The AC worked fine. Would have liked it a bit cooler, but overall it worked fine. I didn't do much shopping around the area. My wife has a walking disability so had to plan things out strategically. Still though the hotel was in a prime spot to get local food. Staff was very friendly and the view.... the view was amazing! 10/10 that sold it for me.

This was rated as a 4 star hotel... should be a 2 star. Elevators were dirty, furniture in lobby is old and worn and needs to be replaced. Breakfast area was very stark and overcrowded, hot items on the included breakfast buffet, (i.e. eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc.) were ice cold. Cappucino was luke warm. This was the conditon for eacjh of the 3 mornings we attempted to eat at the hotel. We ended up just skipping breakfast. In the rooms there were no drinking classes (paper cups only) and no ice buckets provided. Our travelling companions room had issues throughout their stay with air-conditioner not working. And finally upon arrival we were told that the following day water throughout the entire hotel would be turned off between 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We were able to work arround this incovenience, but for the large group of tourists that arrived the following day, it was a shock. For what we paid and what we received this was a really bad exprience.

Staff was somewhat dismissive about our fatigue when we arrived early due to an early flight. Told us we could walk around for the day until our room was ready. Didn’t tell us about the hop on hop off bus that we could have used. On the end of our trip to Italy we stayed there again. They had my name misspelled and couldn’t find the reservation. The room had a musty odor. We had an uncomfortable night.

Loved our stay! The dinner staff was amazing, they helped our son have an authentic Italian experience and even showed him how to properly eat spaghetti. The reception desk was also so helpful, they kept our luggage after check out so we could attend a local tour. Overall thankful for all the hospitality here at the Continental.

We only stayed here for a brief overnight since we had to leave early in the morning, but my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We weren't able to eat breakfast there since we had to leave early for the airport but the staff were very helpful in packing up items to eat on the drive there. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is high quality construction, great location. Breakfast buffet was high quality with lots of volume and choices of high quality foods, lots of staff for attention to beverages and questions. Some elevator problems through the three nights we stayed there. Most reception staff were knowledgable, one was not. Lots of little steps in the walking route that are not as clear as you might wish, so some near misses of tripping hazard.

A wonderful hotel! It houses an incredible collection of original Italian design pieces from the 1950s. The first floor was designed by Gio Ponti and features original period furnishings! An incredible experience! These are pieces you’d find in the world’s finest museums. Breakfast is just as fantastic, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Castel dell’Ovo and chairs by Carlo de Carli! An incredible place with a fantastic staff. For design lovers, this is a must-experience.

Room was ideal and staff at room very good food in restaurant was one big con ordered for fish had to wait over one hour and when came the fish was just one very small piece of fish with on over thing on plate waited so much time that we gave up for anything else.
It was New Year’s Eve and waiter in restaurant was so helpful that he went to desk to book us in at restaurant for New Year’s Eve and desk came up with no you can not do that. Hotel is in great place and room ideal but as for bar only open until 6pm . Would never go again

The staff went out of their way to make us welcome, they were courteous, kind and helpful whenever they had the opportunity. You felt at home immediately. Breakfast was amazing!
