Staff and breakfast were phenomenal - outstanding. However, It was very warm. There was no fan in the room. We opened the windows to try to cool down. It was very loud and bright outside, so we didn't sleep well. Also, the blanket (Duvet) was very thick and way way to hot for summer. All of that, beyond the great service, is not good for such an expensive hotel.

Our room faced the pedestrian only road, however, since the hotel does not have air conditioning, the rooms were sweltering, but we could not keep the windows open due to the noise from the cafes and bars until 1:00 in the morning and then at 6:00 the supply trucks start driving by.

An amazing stay right on the town square in Ortisei. Beautiful historic property but service and food surpassed expectations - half board is highly recommended and excellent value. Service was top level at both reception and the restaurant (Sisi was our favourite!). Junior suite was large enough for family of 4 and housekeeping was excellent. Spa treatments (at their partner hotel) were also exceptional. The stay surpassed our exceptions and highly recommended.

Unless you wish to stay in a 5 star hotel, this hotel exceeds our expectations in terms of its services, and facilities. The location is also excellent, with easy parking in the back yard.

This is an awesome property with great staff and a fantastic spa/pool area. We really had no issues with the hotel itself and they went out of their way to accommodate us. The only draw back was that it is on the main street and the late nite revelers could be heard, but that is not the hotel's issue.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It's centrally located in the center of town and within walkable distance to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was the best we had at any hotel during our stay in Italy. The staff at the hotel were professional and so very helpful. Walking distance to Seceda and Alpe di Suici. Unfortunately, I had to check out early to catch an early bus/train and no one was in the front desk. I left my keycard in a spot where no one can take it if something happened. I emailed this hotel regarding this, and they were very prompt to responding back. Everything ended up working out!

Excellent location in the village to walk to shops & restaurants. In a ZTL area so you must provide your license plate if you have a car but you pull right in front, pick up a parking pass and it's very convenient. Hotel is older but they have renovated the bathrooms & rooms are clean & nice sized. We had lovely balcony with gorgeous views. Didn't feel like reception was as warm or helpful as other places we stayed at during 2-week trip. Part of that could have been language barrier. They had a lovely music entertainment & reception on 1st night of stay & they do have events that they offer, free tours, etc. It would have been amazing to receive calendar in advance so that we could have planned for & enjoyed some of those options.

Everyone is courteous and always greeted you with a smile. Appreciated the hearty breakfast and servicel.The hotel participates in the Val Gardena program which offers a daily variety of activities and experiences which cater to just about anyone’s needs or activity level. We went on three different hikes and enjoyed a regional wine tasting. The leaders of all these activities were outstanding and beyond our expectations. We will definitely visit again.

Only negatives was warm at night with no air & since we were in a junior suite, it faced the front of hotel & front street. And it was very noisy at night till like midnight to 1 am which made it hard to sleep since you had to have windows open for air. Also a lot of light at night which shines in to window in bathroom so had to make sure kept door closed at night.

I don’t know how I can begin to tell how impressive and excellent this hotel is. The staff at the front desk are knowledgeable and kind and the dining room staff run at minimum a five star service. Breakfast is excellent and the spa/pool are clean and wonderful with hydro therapy and 3 different types of saunas. We would stay for 3 more weeks if we could! Rooms are large updated with a vintage flare and very very clean.

This was my second visit to Ortisei, and this hotel was incredible! It really embodies the mountain chic with everything feeling very well thought out, which worked especially for our hiking adventures. The front desk was extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The Classic's intown location was convenient to both lifts and public transportation. Garage parking was just around the corner. The staff were remarkable and attentive. Knowing that at the end of every day the Sauna and Indoor pool were waiting for us followed by a wonderful meal and an awesome desert, made coming back a delightful experience.
