Room and bed were clean. However, I found glass shards on the bathroom floor. Our room faced the street and was noisy until 11pm. After this, the area was quiet until 7am.

Room was beautiful and clean. However, the mattress was caving in the center. Laying in the bed was uncomfortable and loud with movement. This made it difficult to stay asleep. Hotel should replace damaged mattress.

Technology fail 1 tv was broken the other Tv worked but unable to warch cable was not properly connected. We tried to call it in but phone was not working walked downstairs to ask for another room or a solution but they were at Max capacity and manager was not in was promised that the maintenance guy would show he never arrived. Pictures in advertising the place like the bar and gym are not in the building. They are business around the hotel so you have to go outside the building parking is a nightmare is self parked and two cars were booted because the instructions need a bit of work specially if you drive in at night.

I loved the location, we were near to a lot of walkable locations. The website was misleading, the restaurant pictured wasn't part of the hotel, but the food was good.
The pictures on site were definitely older pictures.
There were a few long black hairs in the bathroom...

I wasn’t pleased with the rooms. It looked more antique. The parking two blocks down the street is very inconvenient, you spend $40 a day for a parking spot that’s two blocks away from the hotel.

The room was clean. The water pressure is a little lacking, but that’s pretty normal in the quarter. The real standout is the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I will definitely make this spot my first choice from now on when visiting New Orleans.

The room was clean and to our surprise, a corner room that had a good view of the street below. The ONLY thing that kept me from giving a 5 star review was the hotel itself was difficult to find. I walked past the entrance twice and ended up asking a person in the restaurant on the corner where the location was.

They’ve got a bad sewage issue. Soon as you walk in the rooms it smells like poop. You have to pay $80 to park and you walk a block to parking. Very inconvenient. Staff was nice. Only 1 slow elevator. Rooms are small. Never again!

All the front desk Staff were helpful & great!!
With an early flight coming in, we arrived hours before check-in & was hopeful, the hotel would store our luggage so we could start exploring, but our room was ready. So we were able to check into our room before lunch time.
AND a HUGE shout-out to the staff that cleaned our room every day while we were out. They did a great job!! We travel quite often & have not had service like this from any hotel in years. It was greatly appreciated!!

The room space was adequate for the cost however you would think things within the room would be more taste to the histories of the area and culture. Also some weird feeling when you walked as if the floor isn’t leveled cause grave concerns Staff was good. Parking is a conversation to be had. Not only is it a 2 block walk the process to unload & load your car is horrible on that street. Hotel flow access should only be available to even get on the street if that is how you would have it. Just an overall true experience.

The room was spotless, everything appeared to be brand new. A great old historic building with an art gallery in it, so awesome security. Across the street is the historic Customs house with patrolling Security, parking is nearby. Walking distance to cafe Du Monde, the casino, Canal place shopping mall of high end shops, near Brennan's, Court of two Sisters, Napoleon House, Absinthe House, and Jackson Square. Wonderful location.

Just a great stay in a fascinating part of city in a really nice boutique hotel. Great price too. Highly recommended.

The room was not very clean. The shower had black mildew. There was a lot of hair on the floors. I was told there was a safe in the room on the booking, on the text reminder, and on the door to our room. There was no safe. The room we got with a king size bed just had one chair and a crappy refrigerator in the middle of the floor. The furniture, floors, and mirrors were all extremely worn and in pretty bad shape. The carpet in the hallways is also very worn and stained. They leave giant trash bags all over the hallways. The front desk woman was extremely unprofessional and kind of rude at check in. What they also don’t explain to you ahead of time is that you pay them $40/day for parking, but you have to park your vehicle yourself a couple blocks away. There is no valet. This is obviously extremely inconvenient with luggage and we were not made aware of this in advance. I paid way too much to stay at this dump and would not stay here again.

This is a great option for visiting New Orleans. The location can’t be beat - close to the action, but still relatively quiet. The rooms are a good size and had all the amenities we needed (lots of extra towels which is always a bonus). The staff is incredibly friendly and they allowed us to check in several hours early which we really appreciated. This will be our go to hotel from now on.

They gave us a really early check in which was so appreciated. The location is perfect and close to everything in the French Quarter. The only downside was the wi-fi (not good) and the light in the sofa bed room of the King suite which had a sensor and turned on when anyone walked by and our guest was sleeping in there and got woken up every time. Otherwise great experience staying there.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will say that the pictures online are quite glorified and very misleading. Our room did not look like the pictures! They show a chandelier, mirror, nice lamps and pillows and a rug to make it look high-end. NONE of that is actually in the room. It’s very basic. It was decent, but we definitely felt misled. The hotel itself is a bit “worn”, the carpets in the hallway are threadbare and there was rust on our lamps in the room. Outlets were scarce. The bathroom was pretty nice and the bed was super comfortable. That being said, the location is great and Coterie, the restaurant next door is really good. I don’t know if we would stay here again just because there are so many other nicer options and it was a bit irritating to feel like we didn’t get what was advertised. But overall it was decent and the cost is reasonable.

Overall it was a pretty good stay. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was a bit cold in the shower due to only having a glass covering on half of it. It was also hard not to get water on the floor. Appreciated the AC system. Lots of hotels rooms are hard to keep cool, but that was not a problem here. Liked that it had a fridge and microwave, as well as a nook in the wall for storage space. Hall carpet was pretty stained on our floor, not a huge deal, but something that’s noticeable. Parking was a bit of a hassle as well as pricey, but that’s common in the area. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the coffee and water in the lobby. Location was great, extremely walkable with lots of good restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again.

I spent the day & stayed one night on my way back to Florida following a two night trip to Mississippi.. this was all the time I had to spend in NOLA so I wanted to stay and have a little more time before my drive home.

The room and hotel overall was beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Water and coffee refreshments available in lobby 24/7. The location was convenient, walking distance to many desirable spots including shopping, dining, French Quarter, Bourbon Street, aquarium, the casino, etc. My ONLY complaint is the parking. Hotel does offer parking (inquire about cost and how it works as I didn’t use this option). I was luckily able to find street parking right around the corner from the hotel that was free because I stayed Sunday-Monday. I woke up at 8 to put money on the meter for a couple hours then again at 10 for an hour so I could prepare to check out. Other parking options within a couple blocks away were $50+ for 7pm-11am so I’m glad I was able to avoid that. Beyond this parking issue (this was a problem with ALL hotels I found in this area), it was a great stay and I’ll return if I come back to visit.
