The pictures do not do this place justice. It is an oasis on the creek, lush and green with beautiful Nigerian artwork in every nook. Quiet and elegant. Great staff committed to my every comfort. Lovely grounds. Lovely well appointed room. Great menu. Tasty food. Nice pool area. Steady reliable wifi allowed to work remotely unperturbed. Yes. I defo love this gem and will be back. Booked this hotel property specifically to relax and enjoy the *onsite* spa. When I arrived at the property I asked about booking a spa service and that was when they said the spa was under renovation. Guest services was friendly but not enough for me to overlook a spa resort hotel without access to spa. Restaurant didn’t have all food on menu. Hotel room smelled musty. A few bugs flying around in room. Breakfast buffet was average, nothing special.

I checked out of hotel early and asked for refund because I would not have booked this hotel if they had advertised that the spa was not in service. The manager denied the request for refund. No problem for me - much better to get out of there!

The Junior Suite with Ocean view was quite nice, very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, nice furniture, and linens. The grounds were well kept as was the swimming pool. Restaurants were easily accessible.

The service people are polite and helpful opening doors carrying bags. Swimming pool very clean. Food is prepared well and presentation is exceptional. Laundry services are prompt and meticulous. I've stayed times and would not hesitate to return again.
Stay here feels like home.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The only thing going for them is the location and view of the Lagoon. Otherwise, it’s all terrible.

I booked 3 nights and had to leave after the first night due to mold & blood stains found in my sheets. The mold was in the headboard and other parts of the room. I couldn’t sleep or breathe at night because I am allergic to mold. I decided to check out the next morning. They tried putting me in a different room and I just couldn’t stay.

I requested for a refund and the hotel refused. I was happy to at least pay for the one night I stayed but the hotel kept the money for the remaining 2 nights.

Secondly, they charge you for room service from the restaurant to bring you stale food. For your peace, health & safety — do not book here. I rarely leave reviews for places as I know running a business in Nigeria is hard but this was beyond unacceptable. Please beware.

No elevator, flooded bathroom and light went out twice at night.

Also room has a persisting odor.

I had to check out after one night of a 4 night stay and the hotel refused to refund the remaining 3 nights that I did not stay.

Very disappointing and I feel ripped off.

This is the most amazing place to stay, but I’m reluctant to say that.., because I don’t want everyone coming here. My husband I met here and we’ve had many more experiences here. The hotel was nice overall. The pool area is very nice however it would have been nice if they had service for drinks and food by the pool.
The room as good except the shower glass was a bit awkward and didn't open very well. Also the tv channels were continually breaking up or freezing and the tv had backlights that could be seen in the picture.
Overall the hotel was acceptable.

I liked the hotel location, but don’t like the hotel itself, it is very dirty (room, gym, pool area etc), the room furniture is very old and not in proper conditions , the AC was bad, room smell is bad , the toilet area is very narrow and annoying,
The breakfast was very limited even they are not refill if something finished

Staff friendly, only issue was poor state of barhroom, hot water supply via shower was brown, iron colour n smell. Broken tiles and door handle as well as no toilet paper on arrival. Breakfast set up very poor. Limited food (trays empty). Could improve but very much a has been hotel (look and feel).

Highly recommend this lovely and peaceful hotel

Wonderful place for relaxation. Beautiful gardens and pool and lovely outlook to the water. The place is kept very clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the Chef makes delicious food. The only slightly less than excellent part was the shower fittings.
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely come back if I have the chance.

The bath tubs are very dangerous. I ask for a mat but was never able to attain one. Bad design all the way around in restrooms! Staff was super nice, beautiful property, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone because of my experience with the shower.

The surrounding area was very nice. Was not allowed to check in early but asked to have a seat as if we would be allowed in a reasonable amount of time. It was 11am. We sat til 11:30. If we couldn’t check in early they could have said so or let us know how long the wait would be. The floor in the room was dirty once we checked in. The place was nice along with surrounding areas, but it could’ve been better. We needed to extend but no one inquired until the day we were leaving and a new booking was already made at another hotel.

Upon arrival was greeted by surly staff who acted as though it was a great favour for them to check me in.
The room amenities were terrible the bathroom toilet was set at an angle down so that is one were to sit on it the cover would fall onto your back.
The air conditioner was ineffective so little sleep after a long journey.
The breakfast was abysmal shocking.
I had booked for 3 nights but moved out after one i was definitely miss sold by Expedia on this hotel and wii be making representations to them

Nice hotel but lack in maintenance. Room ceiling full of mold. Hot water not hot. Checked in for a quiet new year night but got an illigal house party during curfew starting at 11pm and still ongoing at 4 AM when we checked out as the noise was deafening. Worst stay ever and not worth the money

I lived the intimacy of the place. Has a single traveller It was easy to meet like minded individuals. The staff were awesome especially Mary and Joseph. The pool area was my favorite spot. You were shielded from the city madness by that pool. The restaurant is 24hrs.

Reception is unwelcoming so don't expect to be greeted when you arrive and at check-in. Staff is not helpful and not at all friendly. There were mosquitoes in the room and the worker started spraying some type of chemical while I'm in the room without warning. There is no refrigerator in the room eventhough Reception said all the rooms have one. They then decided to switch to another room after I asked for a refund. The new room still has no refrigerator but instead a wine rack, I'm so confused at this point and did not bother to pursue a refrigerator. Additionally, the property appears bigger and more attractive online than in person. I won't stay here again.

The room they checked me in on 20th of January the A/C was not working I complained to them it took the 5 hours to respond to me. After they fixed it the next day it stopped working again, I complained after 3 hours no body came I went downstairs to the receptionist and tell them to change me to another room she refused and said all the rooms has booked until I started arguing with them before they changed the room for me to room 215

I am usually very easy to please but my experience at this hotel was beyond deplorable. I arrived at the hotel around 4pm to check in and it took almost 1.5-2hrs for my room to be ready. On arrival to my room, the ac was leaking water and spitting out chunks of ice on the floor. I went to the reception and complained, requesting for another room. The lady at the reception said maybe the ac needs defrosting and that they will try to fix it. I insisted that I will not stay in that room and needed another room. After waiting for another 30 minutes, they said they can give me another room. When I arrived at the room, I noticed there were 2 yellow rust stains on the duvet/comforter. I was already so hungry and tired because of many hours of travel. I opened the folder on the table nearby to check for room service and a roach jumps out. The attendant who brought my luggage was still in the room and he went on the smash the roach with his bare hand :(. I was done after that and said I could not stay in that room and went back to the reception, explaining what happened and that I will be going to another hotel. The new lady at the reception pleaded with me and said she will get me another room which she did. The new room was actually ok but the fridge was not working and it did not have hot water in the shower. I was already exhausted and hungry and just decided to manage the room for the night. Never staying there again.

The things advertised is misleading. There was no travelers office available, Whats offered as amenities was not given had to beg for two towels each day missed breakfast because it states till 1030 and it ended earlier. the hair salon opened whenever i was unable to get pampered like i had planned for, The facilities was not kept up the pool lots of floor tiles missing lighting in the evening was poor . The first room air conditioner broken bugs behind closet had to get moved to another room .I booked a standard queen bed recirved a doublr bed . I was very dissapointed and everything on the menu was not available if it wasnt because i paid in full through Expedia i would had left but they claimed i couldnt get refunded.

The hotel is located in the ritzy part of town with easy access to restaurants, bars and shopping malls.
There's a beautifully manicured courtyard, and the pool has a wonderful Sea view. There's a bar at the pool and a DJ plays a wonderful nix of music in the evenings. The restaurant has a wonderful selection of western and local dishes and all the staff members are very friendly.
The hotel has a travel agency on site to help organize trips to other parts of Africa and the rest of the world.
I stayed in a deluxe room with a very comfortable bed and all the features you would expect to find in a 4 star hotel, including a safe in the room, cable TV with plenty of channels, decent speed WiFi, a well stocked bathroom, etc.
I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it. I would definitely stay there again!

Friendly staff but poor customer service.
The problem seems to be training and supervision.

My room didn't have a functioning phone and it took 4 days to fix it.
My room had a refrigerator that didn't work. But it was replaced.
My AC unit also malfunctioned...spewing water unto the bed. It took over two days to fix it.
