Charming hotel, and has a nice view from the top hill looking down.
No issues staying and my room came w/ a balcony which was a big perk.
Staff members are friendly and the morning breakfast was quite good.
It was a hot day in Steyr reaching near 27-29c, and the room stayed warm till evening.
Having balcony worked well, I stayed out in balcony often where gentle breeze was very enjoyable.
But I can see anything above 27c, you may need some patience till the room cools down in the evening.
The price was right for the room and the service was good. The check in time starts at 2pm which is a bonus.
There is a church located right next to the hotel, worth checking out.
Free parking is offered, but the area is about 100 meters away.
There is paid parking spots in front of hotel, you can park up to 1hour free which works out for checking in and unloading your luggages.
I parked my car for 20min in the paid lot and ended up moving it to a remote lot. No issues.

It is a very nice place, however, if you visit around the Christmas time get ready for a very busy place. There is no parking around this time, especially during the weekend.
Avoid the the time 4 to 5 weeks before Christmas, unless you are there for the \"Christkindl\" experience.

Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt. Hotel mussten wir etwas suchen. Es liegt ein bisschen versteckt, dafür aber sehr ruhig und hat ein charmantes Ambiente. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und die Betten super. Auch das Frühstück war Klasse. Wir würden sicher wieder hier absteigen.

Es war ein super tolles Hotel freundliches Personal, zur begrüsung gab es Champagner .Man konnte die Felsen Sauna kostenlos nutzen spwie den Wihrpooll die ganze Nacht nutzen da gab es zu trinken und Snacks Musik kann man nach seinen Wünschen wählen also nur Top ,das beste Hotel was wir bisher hatten. Frühstück wahr absolute Spitzenklasse ich kann nur sagen wir kommen definitiv wieder

Ich habe das Hotel gewählt, da ich bis vor ca. 3 Jahren regelmäßig in Steyr war und mit dem Hotel immer sehr zufrieden war. Allerdings hat sich die Leistung seit her wesentlich verschlechtert!

Mit Abstrichen ....
Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel mit Renovierungsstau. Man sieht ihm das Alter an und die Zimmer haben schon lange keinen Maler mehr gesehen. Im Speisesaal unapetitliches Flusen- und Staubgemisch rund um die Tischbeine lässt Nachlässigkeiten vermuten.
Wenn es angeblich ab 6:45 Frühstück gibt, möchte ich eigentlich nicht um 7 Uhr dem Personal dabei zuschauen, wenn es langsam alles herräumt und sich darüber unterhält, welche Säfte es mittlerweile zum Frühstück nicht mehr gibt.

Leider haben wir nur eine Nacht in diesem wundervollen Hotel verbracht, da wir auf der Durchreise waren.
Allerdings hat es uns, trotz des kurzen Aufenthaltes, sehr gut gefallen.
Wir reisten mit einem Baby und wurden an der Rezeption herzlichst empfangen (inkl. Begrüssungstrunk).
Auf Nachfrage wurde uns ein Tisch für da Abendessen reserviert.
Obwohl im Restaurant eine Hochzeitsfeier statt fand (wir nahmen auf der Terrasse platz), ging das Essen flott und war ein Traum. Auch das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, es wurde auch mit unserem kleinen Mann gespaßt. (In Österreich ist freundliches Servicepersonal anscheinend sehr selten anzutreffen.)
Da der Eingang im „obersten Bereich“ lag, ging es zu den Zimmer hier mit den Fahrstuhl hinab.
Das Zimmer an sich war freundlich eingerichtet und sauber, Badezimmer groß und mit ebenerdiger Dusche.
Und der Blick aus dem Zimmer etwas besonderes, wir blickten auf eine Bergwand :).
Man sollte vielleicht noch erwähnen, dass wir von der Hochzeitsfeier im oberen Bereich kaum etwas mitbekommen haben.
Das Frühstück, in Form eines Buffets, zeigte eine große Auswahl von Allem , was das Herz begehrte.
Fazit: Sehr schönes Hotel, Top Lage, super Personal und leckeres Essen.
Wir kommen gerne wieder, beim nächsten Mal auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt.
