Great property and rooms. We booked a suite for 4 people and it was wonderful 2 bedroom suite. Hotel had many features such as electrical blinds, clean and large bathroom, several seating chairs and desk space. Overall we had a great stay.

good simple clean, convenient location just off main raod to salzburg, rest. good local food, right on the street, so not romantic but a great sstop over between vienna airport ( 2 hs and salzburg, another 2 hrs.

Check-in automatico facile e veloce. L’hotel si trova di fronte alla stazione/ferrovia e a una strada molto trafficata, ma le stanze sono sorprendentemente insonorizzate: non si sente nessun rumore.!Attraversare la strada dal parcheggio all’ingresso dell’hotel è abbastanza pericoloso in assenza di strisce pedonali. Supermercato a pochi metri. Cucina/ristorante dell’hotel molto buona. Colazione scarsa. Il frigobar si spegne una volta tolta la chiave di attivazione della camera.
Check-out poco chiaro e personale che parla solo tedesco (a parte un paio di camerieri con cui siamo riusciti a intenderci in inglese).

We stayed here when traveling to Hungary from the UK. The hotel was near the motorway & easy to find. Staff was pleasant & helpful. The room was really big & the bed was comfy. The only issue we had was the toilet smelt of cigarets which was coming through the vent. I brought some air freshener from Lidl (2min walk away) & that didn’t mask the smell

nightmare experience!!!

There was an aggressive and nevrotic old lady at the front desk.
Our reservation and confirmation mail was clearly showing that we booked and paid for a quadriple room with 2 bedrooms for 3 adults and 1 child at the age of 12. All written and confirmed by hotels.com
She does not speak English even one word and I asked help from other staff around who also totally ignored us. So forget about the multilingual staff lie!
But the lady kept shouting and hitting his desk in terror and as I understood from her body language and her writing on sone pages showing us, she was asking extra money for the room and/or for the kid.
She denied to show the mail confirmation which must have been sent to them also, and totally denied to read mine either.
At the end of 15 minutes fight and yelling on us, she granted us a key and kept insulting in German behind us. I got the happenings on camera and I will send to my lawyer and sue the place if those words contain any discrimination and hate.
It is unbelievable how these kind of people might be in hospitality business in Austria...
Regarding the room;
My bed had a heavy smell of human urinal, most probably previous guest peed to bed in his sleep or drunk. It was unbearable but also impossible for me to go down back to that woman and fight again, so I slept with my kids in other bed...
Wifi was not working at all!!
And final surprise is there were some clothes left at the wardrobe from the previous guest!!

A hell corner!!!!!

The picture showed two bedrooms, when arrived we were offered single bedroom with 3 beds. The offered on Expedia place was two bedroom and the actual was single with 3 beds. Not really fair.

We stayed one night en route to Austria and could not find any other affordable stay for a family of four. This location was mediocre. The biggest advantage was the size of the room with a double bed and two twins. The space was huge and TV service good. However, it took us forever to check in and not the friendliest - we had to hunt the front desk person down inside the restaurant. Hotel was older and decorated for fall so was cute. However, we were given a room next to the road when I specifically requested otherwise due to the noise of the street. It was noisy even with the windows closed. You could hear the traffic, trains, and restaurant guests for most of the night. I could not sleep well. The breakfast the next morning was European fare so decent and the waitresses very friendly. However, two of our family experienced stomach issues the rest of the day and we have to wonder the coincidence... We would probably not return for the price and what we got from the hotel.

Hotel in Sankt Valentin, Austria

We were very happy with the hotel rm and the restaurant. The room was spacious and well organized. We stayed nine nights while we visited relatives. The room was clean and well cared for and the main waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Good base for rail tourism

Accommodation itself was fine and comfortable. But, alas, the advertised \"multi lingual\" staff do not speak English and it took two days of hassle until they recognised that we had paid in advance. Location wise, St Valentin itself is not exciting. But logistically it is an excellent base as the rail station across the road allows easy access to the tourist attractions of Linz in one direction, Steyr and Garsten in another, let alone St Polten and Vienna in a third direction.

We had a change of plans at the last minute and needed to find a place quickly. We had no complaints at all, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and it was clean and quiet. It was the quickest check-in and check-out I've ever had at a hotel, less than 60 seconds each, a quick look in a hand-written ledger confirmed all the details; other hotels should take note! I would definitively recommend it.

Habe die Bewertung von anderen reisenden gelesen und kann mich anschliessen. Für die Durchreise eigentlich sehr gut geeignet auch mit der infrastruktur. Leicht übersehbar: onlinecheckin ist draussen links von der Tür. Frühstück war etwas unter der Erwartung für ein dreisterne hotel. Dafür die Bedirnung sehr gut und auch tolles spiegelei

Der self-checkin funktioniert super.
Die Lage ist direkt.am Bahnhof und es gibt Ladestadtionen für Elektroautos.
Unsere Hunde haben den Aufenthalt ebenfalls genossen - man ist sofort in der Natur von der Unterkunft aus.

Das Personal ist nicht so gut bewertet, da es praktisch keines gab. Ausnahme die Dame beim Frühstück.

Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut eingerichtet und das Haus liegt ideal zum Bahnhof. Frühstück ist in Ordnung. Uns hat ein wenig die Unpersönlichkeit im Haus gestört, also das Gefühl von willkommen sein - auch wenn das Servicepersonal durchwegs aufmerksam und freundlich war. Wir werden das nächste Mal ein anderes Haus versuchen

Hotel Restaurant Wallner is everything you want in a 'Gasthof'. We used it to stay the night to continue our travels the next day. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. The hotel seems a little outdated but is very tidy and extremley clean. Exactly what we wanted. We also made use of the EV-charger in front of the hotel. Tesla Superchargers are also nearby
