I am so happy to have found this place. Everything was absolutely perfect. The villa, the location, the gardens, the incredible Mt Coonowrin view from our verandah and the breakfast delivered on your verandah each morning were all superb. It has spoiled us future locations on our trip north to Cairns. Wish we were still there. Thank you for having us.

Glass on glasshouse, fantastic.

Glass on glass house certainly exceeded our expectations! We instantly fell in love with the picturesque, peaceful and very private location, which was the perfect place to spend a week and celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary!
We thoroughly enjoyed the food in the fully stocked fridge especially all the delicious fruit. ( oh the pineapple, exceptional). Everything was just perfect, the attention to detail, spot on. Everthing was so spotlessly clean, the windows sparkeled,the linen so clean and fresh, with all the mod cons and all the special personal touches like fresh flowers on the desk, the candles, the outside blankets and the comfy furniture, the bath salts. We appreciated the refreshing pool. We loved to sfroll in the evenings and watch the Kangaroos. It is obvious that Grant and Darrell are very proud of their villas. Congratulations - this place is very special.

Perfect retreat in a beautiful location

An absolutely beautiful place to stay for a couple. We stayed as a treat for ourselves, and treat it was. A beautiful cabin, very private from the other two cabins which are nearby, with magnificent views and all you could ask for. Plentiful breakfast provisions with a large bowl of fruit, eggs, bacon, bread and juice; coffee pods and variety of teas. Lie in bed, in the bath or on the balcony and look out over the beautiful view and one of the glasshouse mountains. We had lunch and the most scrumptious devonshire tea at the cafe at the entrance to the cottages. Highly recommend

My partner & I had a great experience during our stay. The views were amazing & the cabin was very clean and well presented. The fridge was full of delicious food upon our arrival and we were greeted by the owner who was incredibly friendly where nothing was too much trouble. July 2018, we were greeted by the owners on arrival.
They were very helpful and courteous with their time and information.
Beautiful surroundings with a natural feel, complete with avian and marsupial visitors.
Generous pantry and kitchen. It is rare that I might review an accommodation, however,

Anniversary getaway

My partner and I treated ourselves to a 3 night getaway to this beautiful place for our 20 year anniversary, and we weren't disappointed! Everything lived up to previous reviews, and was absolutely amazing including the awesome spa bath with the best view I've experienced from a bath; the extra comfy bed, which you didn't want to get out of; the huge amount of breakfast provisions which we were unable to get through (although we gave it a good shot!); the kitchenette where we able to prepare our own dinner, and the pod coffee machine was also a great touch.
As much as we didn't want to leave this place, we did make a few trips down to the coast, which were about a 30-60 minute drive depending on which end we went (Caloundra or Noosa), but we didn't mind this as we didn't want to stay in the \"hustle and bustle\", and it was lovely coming back to the quietness of this location.

Great cabin surrounded in greenery

We went to stay here for a few nights for valentines day and it was amazing. The cabin was stunning, so was the views all around. Thr glass made use feel like we were alone in nature. Grant was very lovely happy to have a chat and always there for anything we needed. The fridge was full of brekky stuff from juice boxes and waters to bread, eggs and bacon. The cabin has everything you need. Will be back and my family will be coming too!! Thanks again

Wonderful Experience and Excellent Value!

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Glass at Glasshouse Mountains. The cottage was even more beautiful than in the pictures, and it was so relaxing heading down to the cafe at the end of the driveway in the mornings. I also saw kangaroos every morning at sunrise! Great location a close drive to beaches, hiking, and the Australia Zoo. I can't wait to come back with my husband! Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Amazing location in the Glass House Mountains

Absolutely loved the cottage we stayed in at Glass On Glasshouse. Breathtaking views with an incredibly comfortable living space. Great for relaxation and a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Air conditioning was useful in the humid climate and worked efficiently. Great views from all angles of the cottage with glass walls spanning most of the sides. A quick drive to the lookout also provided some incredible views. Would recommend to anyone wishing to spend some time in the outdoors in a peaceful, but luxurious space.

An amazing place!

Stayed here the night before we were due to fly back from Brisbane to the UK. It's just an amazing place, somewhere pretty special you don't go every day. Every little detail had been thought about, from having a fridge full of food to there being insect repellent in the cupboard. I can't one fault the experience, it was exceptional and I won't hesitate to return if I'm in the area again.

What an amazing place to getaway too for a couple of days. The room had amazing views of the Glasshouse Mountains especially with the floor to ceiling glass on one side of the building. Was surprised to see the fridge filled with brekky goodies and fresh fruit. The room was modern, very looked after and clean. They have thought of everything here from robes and slippers to candles and an array of DVDs. Great place to stay and didn't need to venture out far from our room.

A brilliant 3 days of escape

We spent three nights at Glass on Glasshouse and it made our getaway extra special. The room is modern yet warm and comfortable in design and furnishings. The hosts provided plenty of food in the fridge to hold us over for days of breakfast supply which was a lovely feature. There is very limited phone coverage however that isn't an issue when you are looking to relax and hide away for a few days. Less than an hour to the Sunshine Coast and cute inland towns like Montville. Beautiful setting which leaves you immersed in nature. Overall it was a very special place to stay and relax.

Unique, although a bit impractical....

Glass on Glasshouse is a very unique place -- it's in a very peaceful/quiet location and could be a great for a romantic weekend away. In my opinion, the rates are bit on the high side and for that, we found the room to be a bit on the impractical side. First, the check-in -- we flew in from Brisbane and had dinner in town because we were worried restaurants near this hotel would be closed . So, we didn't arrive until 8:30. Although, we were met that late and showed to our room, we felt rushed and the reception seemed a bit cold. And, this was after we called and let them know we would be arriving at that time. So, that didn't make us really feel overly welcome. Next, because they have new wood floors, they preferred that we didn't bring our shoes inside. And, I can respect that if it was someone's home, but it is a bit annoying for a hotel -- esp since you are out in the woods. They also swiped the CC for an additional deposit, which to be honest I have never seen outside of major chains for mini-bars/room service -- this was for damage to the property. Finally, we were a party of 3 -- there was a nice sofa bed in the living room and a king bed in the far back -- that was perfect! Bed was comfy/room was nice. However, the bathroom situation was a bit awkward. There is no door to the shower/tub area and the fireplace in the living room has a large see-through square window that sees right into the bathroom.

The good, the bad and the ugly

The GOOD - This spot is beautiful and extremely peaceful. The ceiling high glass windows mean you can take in the spectacular view and you feel like you are a million miles away from Brisbane.

Modern features such as sensor lights and great sound system throughout the unit. Bath is great but a bit weird that the water comes from the ceiling. Complimentary breakfast hamper and the homemade chocolates were fantastic.

THE BAD - We arrived about 12.45pm thinking check in was at 1pm. We were told they weren't quite ready and maybe we could go and have a coffee. The owner wouldn't give us the security code and said he would give it to us when we got back. Not a big deal except for the fact we were only staying one night and had never seen a place so stringent on the check in time. This made us feel that we couldn't stay a minute past 10am check out.

There is only three units/lodges so how long does it take to clean them??? Surely if someone arrives for one night you can be flexible on the check in time.

As per one other review some of the furniture needs replacing as the leather is worn. Again not a big deal for us but when you are paying a decent amount for only 20 hours accommodation you expect a higher standard.

$500 holding on the credit card also seems excessive. doesn't worry us but for some people that might affect them

THE UGLY - stupidest and least user friendly sink in the bathroom I have ever seen. What was the designer thinking???

Perfect views, total privacy

Glass on Glasshouse can be a destination by itself. Stunning views make you want to stay indoors and just admire the mountains. The best experiences: breakfast on the porch and star gazing at night. This was my best B&B ever. Highly recommended!
