My partner and I stayed in the Toorak cottage this weekend and the reviews are not wrong! We loved everything, we couldn't even try to find something negative to say if we tried. The bed was the most comfortable bed we've both ever slept in (we are even talking about purchasing the same one). We had everything we needed. The spa bath was relaxing, we had complete privacy and we were so relaxed when we left we are already talking about booking again. The little touches that go in to making sure you have a good stay were just a bonus, like a coffee machine with a variety of coffee pod stengths available (personal fave of mine), the cottages were soundproofed so you can't hear other guests going about their stay either, a Bluetooth speaker to play music, breakfast in the fridge, even the extra towels were a nice touch (also a personal favourite of mine). All of it was such a great experience and you can tell that alot of thought and consideration has gone into ensuring your stay is as convenient and comfortable as possible. The gardens are beautifully maintained and easy to navigate as you walk through. The view from our cottage of the trees and gardens was so peaceful and the best part was that you're away from light pollution so you can see the night sky and not have to worry about the sound of traffic or see skyscrapers in the distance. We are definitely staying again.

These cottages are simple but elegant. Fully equipped for a private couples weekend. With Maleny shops and cafe/restaurants @ 5minutes up the Road ( plus Maleny dairy cafe less than 300m up the road. Very conviently located between both Maleny and Montville. They are surrounded by lush Gardens and with only 5 cottages on site felt VERY private. We enjoyed our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bendles - it is the perfect little getaway spot for couples with the privacy of it as well as being amongst nature. The personal touches made it extra special; music playing when we entered the cabin, a basket with basic foods as well as enough in the fridge to see us through breakfast the next day. The cabin itself was perfect for what we needed and the seclusion was just ideal. Waking up to see the cows on the distant hill was incredible, such a beautiful difference from typical city living. We would love to return in winter when we can use the fireplace and have a cooler experience, although the air conditioning saw us through the QLD heat while we were there! A great stay overall, very happy we chose these cottages as our getaway destination.

Very quite and peaceful surroundings. For the movie people free Netflix movies and a fire crackling away in the background of your room created a relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend staying in Downderry Cottage to celebrate my birthday. The cottage was romantic and relaxing indeed. Despite taking our own breakfast, there was a complimentary breakfast provided (eggs, bacon, tomato, muffins and cereals). This was a lovely surprise as it was not mentioned on our booking. On arrival in the car park we were greeted by bubbly Julia who guided us to the cottage and explained everything to us. Julia was so helpful and kind. So peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was so welcoming - clean, homey and there wasn't anything left wanting. The home made biscuits and cup of tea was the perfect way to begin our relaxation. A spa before heading out for dinner (or if we had planned it better we would have ordered dinner in from one of the local restaurants and just enjoyed staying in 'our' cottage). The bed was so comfortable and it was so peaceful, we accidentally slept in till 9am!!! But that was ok as checkout wasn't till 11am so gave us time to leisurely eat our beautiful breakfast - we chose the fresh fruit and local yogurt. I would highly recommend staying here - and next time I think I will organise a mobile masseur to come on our arrival to really make the most of our time.

Bendles Cottages is in a beautiful setting only a short drive from the trendy towns of Maleny and Montville. The hosts John and Sue were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfy, but due to the amount of rain in the area recently there was a musty, damp smell in the room, probably from the repeated condensation and a leak in the flue in the room. For breakfast you have a choice of light to large, as well as the morning paper, which was a bonus. We chose a fruit plater, bacon and eggs and toast with vegemite and marmalade. It was delivered to our room by John who set up our table on the deck, then came back later to clear it all away.
The shower had good water pressure, but as it was over the spa bath with no screen so the water tended to spray everywhere.
The bed was comfortable, but again the pillows were just not right for me.

This is a magnificent hideaway. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and all is so peaceful. Our cottage was roomy, spotless and well appointed. The hosts, John and Sue are wonderful and have thought of everything to make our stay perfect.
The Australian Zoo, just down the road, is wonderful. We fed kangaroos, petted koalas and saw many interesting birds and animals.

Being ten days after I had back surgery I was hesitant to say the least going to an unfamiliar new accommodation that we'd booked prior. I had nothing to worry about. Sue and John rolled out the welcome mat and ensured our stay was peaceful and relaxing....and safe. They gave me a slip mat for the shower, my steps were dried to make sure I didn't slip and our cottage 'Toorak' WOW!! Everything about this place is just wonderful. The gardens are kept beautifully as are the cottages. With easy access to a big Supermarket up the road, the village style townships of Maleny and Montville close by, it's easy to see why people keep coming back to Bendles. I shuffled around the gardens, watched DVDS when I needed to rest and marveled at the view from my verandah....in fact that is where I spent most of my time. As I couldn't leave to go to the shops I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The attention to detail, lovely and clean, all the mod cons, FREE WIFI, cooked fresh brekkie delivered to your table and the FIRE PLACE....absolutely awesome. We WILL be back.
