Friendly staff, easy check in & out. Room was very spacious & comfy bed. Very clean. Only downfall was the wifi wasnt working so couldnt get internet or Bluetooth/ chromecast to TV, so couldnt watch anything, except normal TV channels. When we asked why it wasnt working, the staff just said it had been out for nearly a week & hopefully will be fixed in the next few days. There was no mention of the wifi not working when we checked in.

Great hotel situated at the top of the Montville (artisan) town. Room was with Balcony, clean with friendly and helpful staff. There were great views given the town location. The town comes to life in the morning and there is a convenience store for the various items you may need. Local cafes available with stunning views of the countryside.

Stayed here for a night for a girls weekend away. The property is very dated but kind of fits in with the aesthetic of Montville. Having said it was dated, it was still very clean and comfortable and check in was easy and super friendly. Loved the on-site parking and, how we could just walk to anywhere we wanted to go including all the shops and restaurants, cafes. Would recommend this place to others for and comfort. Suitable for families and couples.

Top of the town

Our room was tucked away from main road with balcony overlooking bush and sunset.
For those that dont know Montville is hilly including the driveway at Inn. Rooms beside road are flat so if you dont have a bit of mountain goat in you request them. Back rooms are like a little secret surprise.

It was lovely and peaceful, the management couldn't have been more helpful. The only problem I had was the shower, which was great once I was in, but it was in a spa with high walls, and I have just had a knee replacement, so struggled to get in, and there was no rails in the shower to hold on to.
I was very happy with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We arrived to a very friendly greeting from a lovely lady. Unfortunately it was raining but we were determined to make the most of our little weekend getaway. As we opened the door and walked in, we both noticed a musty smell in the room. We turned the lights on but it seemed to make no difference. The room was very dark. We enjoyed a drink before dinner at the Montville Bar and Grill conveniently located next door. The food was so good we decided to book a table for the following evening. The staff there were also fantastic. We tried to watch a movie in our room after dinner, but the TV kept dropping out. Our bed was very comfortable and clean. Our shower was hot but hard to keep at the correct temperature. We had a fabulous stay in the area , finding lots to keep us busy. The property is in need of renovation, and some brighter globes. Our cold water tap in the ensuite needed a new washer.

The motel was clean and in a convenient location was greeted warmly on arrival and enjoyed our stay the only negative things i can say is the room was located down 2 steep hills wich we found a little inconvenient specially after a few drinks !! Also the pool area lacked a little loving and was also down another steep hill but these are only minor things, the motel was excellent value for money and as i said great location so if your ever in Montville do not hesitate to stay here.

The location of the property in the main street of Montville was excellent. The room had new carpet and was a reasonable size. The bathroom had a new toilet however the apricot tiles, sink, brown switches and power points were outdated. Satisfactory accommodation for the price.

I have to say the bed was comfortable and overall the unit was clean.
The problems were obvious as soon as we got there. There are two very steep driveways that need to be negotiated and as it was raining they had to be handled with care and traversing while cars were coming up and down them. There was no phone in the unit to call reception and we were later these had been pulled out so we had to use our mobiles to make contact. Wifi was only available for about two minutes at a time before it dropped out. The most disappointing element of our stay was there was no hot water so cold showers were necessary. When we raised this with a lady cleaning the rooms she informed us that the hot water service was broken. Why would we be given a room when it is known the hot water service was not working?
