Great amenities, the pool was amazing and the bed was very comfy! The water in the shower only stayed hot for a about 5 minutes and then get a bit cold though...althought the water pressure is great!
The only other thing i would mention is that we used the buzzer at the van outside twice and nobody came, we did try calling as well but nobody answered. Overall we had a great time and will be back again!!

We have stayed here four times and normally a lovely stay and I highly recommend but this last stay, sadly was not.
Owner will make you feel very unwelcome and a nuisance. Called for a possible early check in, even if the room is ready they are not on site to accept you. When getting back for the 2pm check in we had to ring buzzer multiple times to get help. No pool towels so bring make sure you bring your own.
At check out we were out of the room by 9:30 and popped down to the pool for the kids to have a swim before the drive home. We were asked at 9:50 when we would be leaving. We said we were out of the room and expected that we would be able to stay for a swim as the parking lot was empty and we were using our own towels. She did give us half an hour and called me on the dot to make sure we were on our way out. When getting back to the car (which is right out of the room, motel style) my daughter wanted out of swim suit for drive home it had started raining so we quickly popped into the room which was still uncleaned and unlocked for her to get changed (obviously if it was already cleaned we would not have went in) The owner was waiting and watching outside of the glass patio doors and made us feel very uncomfortable. I am aware we wanted in early che

Hotel is an ideal place to stay. Rhonda the host is fantastic & will do anything to assist you. The room is very clean as is the pool with parking for each room.The hotel is a little way from the town but there is a nice river walk across the road that will take you there. Also a nice pub with good food to the left of the hotel across the bridge.

The room was absolutely beautiful and very stylish functional and beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and it was actually outstanding. The Pool and the little reception Van which also is the bar was incredible. We didn’t get the opportunity to utilise that. The only thing I would say is that our check-in was quite stressful as I couldn’t get hold of The manager. That said we would definitely stay here again and it is a beautiful property.

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay at Loea Boutique Hotel on the Sunshine Coast. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the calm, welcoming atmosphere and the beautifully curated space. This hotel appeared to have been renovated in recent years. It is very tastefully renovated decorated both in the interior and exterior. The manager was very friendly and helpful. There are bikes for guests to use - the cycle/walking path along the river is just opposite the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Loea. Rhonda was a great host, extremely friendly and helpful. The room was so cute and the bed and pillows were really comfortable which was great. The pool area was so lovely. We will definitely be back. Would love to bring the whole family and book out the whole place.

Loea difficult if there is a problem
I booked a room for a much needed one night getaway with my wife however the weather turned nasty a couple days out from the booking but past the possibility of cancellation (3 days before the booking). I called the hotel to see if it was possible to rearrange seeing that it was paid for. The staff member said it was no problem but would need to be done by Hotels.com. So I called Hotels.com & they said that it was outside the agreement but if the hotel had already said they would happily reschedule the booking they would contact the hotel & complete the process. I waited while this was attempted but they were unable to contact the hotel so they said they would handle it & send me a confirmation email. No email came. I called both the hotel & hotels.com again & both confirmed it would be ok & would be sorted. This went on for over a month of repeated calls to both parties with both stating they would handle it. Did not happen. So after 5 calls on one day I was directed to a supervisor at hotels.com who attempted to deal with the hotel unsuccessfully. He read out the notes from the first call to the hotel where Loea refused to rebook on another date. Neither party was informed me clearly about this and consequently I pursued it. The supervisor was excellent & saw how the booking had been mishandled & granted me a coupon to the same value. Thank you Hotels.com

When I arrived at the property I was told there was no booking under my name and when she looked into it further she said someone had called and cancelled my booking. This had not happened and I was told I was lucky that no one else had booked otherwise I’d have nowhere to stay. A better system needs to be put in place around booking & cancelling, as I was made to feel uncomfortable and I had to prove I had paid etc. Eventually I was welcomed and allowed to stay but the whole process wasn’t what I had expected. Otherwise a nice place to stay. I wouldn’t stay here in future due to this mix up as it made me feel extremely uncomfortable…
