My stay at Twin waters NovatelThe room very old and very dated at least 30 years television very old no Internet Netflix or anything now in our movies. No nothing just your normal TV stations carpet tiles I reckon 30 years old maintenance of the overall estate holes in ceilings in the hallway and stairways from water damage plants growing out of gutters on roof which more than likely caused this damage and rusty gutters with massive holes facias falling off the side of the veranda’s restaurant. That’s another story fishfingers weren’t the best as fish of the day dining menu very poor had to travel to Maroochydore for dinner each night after the first nights disgusting dinner poor pub food not restaurant quality out of five star I would rate two star said to see what was once a five star now only two after paying nearly $1000 for three nights mid week not money well spent could do a lot better elsewhere

Would not stay here again. It is more of a family place and tthere were tonnes of kids given the holiday season. The property is very tired and given the nightly cost, did not feel it was warranted. Restaurant menu was average at best.

Great location, fabulous gym & pool, and easy access to a beautiful beach. The grounds were lovely. The rooms & bathrooms however do need a facelift in the non executive section.
Bonuses were seeing the sunrise from your room and wild kangaroos grazing at dawn and sunset.

We stayed for 1 night and it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and tidy. However, there was no moisturizer provided which is disappointing as I did not bother packing any as we have recently stayed at another resort and this is something that was provided. Also not enough tissues are provided so we ran out and given we're only there for 1 night it's not a big deal but just an inconvenient.

Overall, we would stay here again and will be back to spend more than 1 night on our next visit. The property was well maintained, the swimming pool was great, the activities for the kids was a great bonus and the ambience of the place is just so nice and relaxing. The buffet breakfast was nice and overall, the entire experience was worth the price.

We found roaches and blood stained sheets! The beds are very uncomfortable! The property needs updating! The best part is the breakfast! They are delicious and the staff welcoming us were amazing. Sometimes, the service was iffy - not even water was given to us ;-(. Roos and wild birds were around the area so if you want that vibe, it’s a good place! But it’s not the resort/spa we were used too!

Stayed here for a special occasion weekend away recently, but what a rip-off!

The resort was extremely run-down both inside and out. The 'beach lagoon' was unswimmable due to being full of thick and foul smelling weed.
The room quality was old and basic with the king bed being just two beds pushed together with a VERY uncomfortable ridge in between.

We ate both in the bistro area and in the main restaurant, where staff were friendly overall, though they appeared slightly embarrassed by the obviously poor value for money and unbelievably long wait times for the food. We paid $34 for a cheese platter, which arrived with 6 crackers, a strawberry, 1/2 slice of dried apple, 5 apricots, a tiny sliver each of cheddar and soft cheese, and some relish, which in total, left 2/3 of the platter empty!

This Novotel is definitely nowhere near 5-star, and as a local, I will never return. They charge a 5-star price but deliver more of a dodgy caravan park vibe.

When I realised I had left my brand new togs behind in the room after we had vacated, I called the hotel, who promised someone from housekeeping would investigate and call me back that day. After 4 phone calls over the following 2 weeks with the same promises but no call-backs, I gave up. Very grim service I'd say. The only saving grace was the lovely American gentleman Maitre D, and the wait staff, and if I were them, I'd take my amazing customer service skills somewhere that deserves them.

Staff were fantastic but the state of the room was very poor - especially for what it cost!

We had an unclean floor, including a dead spider, the walls had something dripped down on it and even when showed to the evening staff was never cleaned off.

We had a trail of ants marching in along the floors and walls which we had bug sprayed…..plus we saw paint peeling from along wall on entry and all over the bathroom ceiling. I feel the whole site is showing its age….would be ok if you were expecting a campsite or hostel!

The amenities were excellent and the staff were very good. The food was great and the portions we large ( my pizza and tiramisu would have served two easily). However I did find the room a little shabby and in need of some updates. There was no hot water in the shower but it worked in the sink which I couldn't understand. Also the hairdryer didn't work but I didn't find that out until my last morning. The location was lovely and I had a nice garden view room but I definitely feel they need to do some upgrades to bring the rooms up to a better standard because if you go by the lobby you expect a little more bang for your buck!

We last stayed here 6 years ago and things have gone downhill since then. Several issues in our room but the main one was that our door kept malfunctioning and wouldn’t lock. Housekeeping left our room unlocked for several hours whilst we were out for the day.

The hotel is becoming quite dated and needs some urgent maintenance. The rooms are very dated and the carpet smells weird. The room I booked was supposed to have a queen and \"twin\" bed. We had a Queen and a single bed which was very small. The food from the restaurant was not good. Our burgers were burnt. The bar staff were not friendly or experiences. They couldn't make a spicy a margarita. The hot tub was not as hot as it was when we stayed 2 years ago and it was dirty. It's in a lovely location but it needs a major overhaul. No restaurants open late nearby.

We have stayed before property is in need of some maintenance in the accommodation side of things. Our room was neat and tidy however our mattress had see better days. We have come across this in the past. They definitely get there money’s worth out of mattresses.
Buffet breakfast was lovely however the restaurant itself could do with a revamp. We’ve been going there for 13years and not much has changed.

The hotel is in an amazing location and has great facilities, food and staff but really needs some love, there were holes in the roof of some of the walkways and paint peeling etc Such a shame because everything else is great. Special shout out to Emily in the restaurant who was just lovely and so helpful. In short, great hotel but dated. Spend some money Accor and bring this wonderful place back to its full glory!

Great location with lots of activities included for the price including kayaking and little caterman boats. Other options such as bike hire onsite at a reasonable price. Kangaroos around the grounds, right outside the apartment door. Staff were courteous and accommodating. The room itself was simple, but functional

All if it ! The room was ok but the bed was absolutely terrible.. the worst I’ve ever slept in ! It was hard and uneven , the pillows were very uncomfortable. It was muggy and hot ! The air conditioner wouldn’t work so couldn’t sleep! The check-in was really disappointing, our room wasn’t ready upon arrival , there was no politeness to it , staff couldn’t t care less as they were rushed off their feet! It took for me to go and enquire 45 minutes later for them to say sorry. No compensation offered. You also had to lug your suitcases up 2 flights of stairs! The food at the sola restaurant was terrible . I would never stay there again !

Our room was unclean. Marks in the spa bath despite there being a tag on it to state hygiene cleaned. Marks on the wall. The fridge was uncleaned.
We mentioned it to reception and they advised a VIP clean would be done the next day. Returning back to our room on the second day I would not have called it a VIP clean. The toilet bowl which we were unable to clean due to no brush had not been cleaned and when I lifted the lid I found a lot of very old fasces on the underneath of seat and mold on the inside upper rim. Looked like it had not seen a brush in a while. Fridge still not cleaned. Marks still on the wall. We had two tvs and the remote control in the lounge kept turning the bedroom tv on and changing its channels. Housekeeping did not tidy up ie. fold up and put away blankets or straighten up couch. 2nd day cleaning did not get done till after 2pm and only once we called reception. Once again - kitchen bench not tidied up, blanket not put away and couch not straightened up. Add to that coffee and tea was not refreshed. Signage around the place I feel was not sufficient. Washing machines - website states washing machine takes $1 coins. Reception said 3 $1 coins for washing machine. Found the washing machine was 5 $2 coins. One machine was out of order with a sign. The other machine still half full of water. Add to this we were giving washing detergent from reception the was for front loaders and the machines were both top loaders. All in all a very disappointing stay.

We went to Sola restaurant for dinner and found it over priced for the quality and quantity of the food. I ordered the Moreton Bay Bugs Salad and was lucky if I had two it was all lettuce. Husband had the steak which was very chewy.

The property in general is very nice. Lobby looks sleek and aesthetically pleasing. There are activities available to do for the whole family. The room however that we stayed in is quite dated, and can use some much-needed renovation. Other rooms or units are quite nice and looks new.

I found it quite difficult to get in touch with reception before and during my stay. The staff seemed a little unsure of processes, as though they were all new or still in training. I was staying for a work function and had a short 40-minute break between sessions after traveling since 4 am, so I’d hoped to rest briefly. Unfortunately, a staff member knocked on my door to ask if my air-conditioning was working, which interrupted my quick nap.

My wife and I stayed for one night in a 1 queen bed garden view room @$355.00 per night. While we enjoyed the serenity of the resort, we discovered the bed sloped inwards towards the centre, this due to using two single mattresses and not a proper queen-size mattress. We could feel the join between the two mattresses. This made for an uncomfortable sleep and degraded the overall experience. It was not what we had expected from a Novotel Resort. Also, the teaspoon in the room had not been washed.

Too big for the insufficient staff to be able to provide any real care factor.
The pool facilities are around 30% of the scale needed for the number of rooms.
Young staff trying hard, but clearly untrained and overworked.
The management business seems to know they will continue to (over)fill the rooms and don’t have to try or care about the experience once you’re there.
Simple things like rooms have very limited facilities (e.g. no cups/glasses in the bathrooms / nowhere to hang dry towels in the bathrooms) yet Room Service meals are delivered on disposable paper plates with no cutlery??? Clearly the objective is to squeeze as much money as possible out of the punters with as little effort/or care as possible.
I have visited this property a number of years ago and had a very enjoyable stay - it is such a shame to see how it is being managed and milked today. We won’t be back anytime soon.

The room (358) small very basic, no safty instructions or information folder. Noisy air-conditioner. Dinner time the menu for a 4 star accommodation l wouldn't give it a 2 star. Two types 250 gram stacks don't cut it. There should be larger sizes.400, 500 grams. Plus for a coastal resort, people from the farm land love the reaf and beef at leased. Breakfast was great 👍 , dinner 😝

we were late arriving after hospital admission. So was dark. Found it hard to find our room. Ran into another couple having same issues. Ordered room service. Pizza was delivered very quickly. Very tasty but not hot and not exactly. cooked enough for our liking.
Overall did the job for our overnight stay. Slept well in comfort.

We touched Australian nature and run into kangaroos were amazing! Activities are plenty and huge lake for humbling and running. It’s a hotel but I feel like it’s kind of villa. High recommended for everyone especially for families with kids.

What a woefully kept hotel. There was heavy rain which poured through the covered walkways like a raging river. No amenities in these overpriced rooms (water, shower cap etc). Basically it’s an overpriced motel with a fancy lobby. Save your money and go elsewhere

When we got to the resort, we didn’t get the room we booked for. So they told us they were upgrading us to a room that was on the floor Level, which we specifically chose not to get with the last room, due to security issues. The electricity in the room along the wall behind the bed didn’t work so no lamps for the beside table., the toilet had a constant running noise and we couldn’t turn the water off to stop it, so we heard it all through the night. And it had an old smell to it. Like the room hadn’t been used in a while or it had been shut up for a long time and had an old person smell to it.
