Right in the heart of Montville on main street, this place is great for a quick weekend away and is a great way to just get away from the busy Brisbane life. Shops and cafes are all just a stroll away and you cannot fault the view. We stayed in the street view apartment and just spent a few hours people watching. The pub across the road had Christmas in July on which made for an amazing after sunset view with the fairy lights etc.

Next was the excessively hot water in the kitchen sink. It was scolding and way above safe levels. We told the building manager about both items however he dismissed them as trivial. They will be small things until someone gets hurt. Anyway if you are careful with the dishwasher and the hot water everything is OK

Rooms are spacious but room decor is older and a little \"tired\" for the price point (not recently renovated). Our shower did not work properly for our overnight stay (water came and went sporadically) but this was most likely an isolated event.

Mayfield on Montville is in the perfect location for you to enjoy all that Montville has to offer as it is walking distance to everything. It has spectacular views over the valley and out to the ocean. So in that regard it is wonderful.
The apartments have a cold feeling about them as they are quite large with little furniture. A fire place and some more comfy furniture would give you a more welcoming homely feel. The bathrooms definitely need some modernising.

We went out for a wedding and just stayed for the one night. Clean and tidy room positioned perfectly in the middle of town. Walk downstairs to amazing restaurant with spectacular views. Had a nice spa bath in room and great views. Staff were lovely and let us check in a bit earlier and leave a bit later.

Very disappointed with our stay here. The room smelt stale the furnishings were old & the fridge was not working. The shower also leaked onto the bathroom floor making it dangerous. We paid more that our friends who stayed just metres up the road for a recently opened establishment that was lovely. I complained to the managers who operate the motel across the road but they stated it had nothing to do with them as they don't own the property just manage the property so how can you get any satisfaction when no one takes any responsibility. My advise don't stay here.

The location is in the center of Montville. It has great views and the rooms are a great size but the rooms facilitates are dated and getting tired. It was very clean and neat. However there are a lot of steep stairs to climb to get to your room.

NO HOT WATER - Very disappointing in every way!
We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment in August 2017. The 'luxury' accommodation boasted a large spa bath with beautiful views. However, after my 7 year old son had a 3 minute long shower, there was no hot water left to run a spa bath, or even have another shower! I then made contact with the management team of the Mayfield on Montville the next morning to explain our disappointing experience, and they stated that they are just a booking agent and have no responsibility for the accommodation. They advised me to contact the owner of the unit and pursue them. This has been a horrible experience, and I am incredibly disappointed at the Mayfield on Montville's lack of care and concern for their customers!

In 2017, there is no excuse for not providing basic internet service. This drives modern entertainment as well as allowing us to keep in touch with friends, family and work all around the world. Not having a decent internet connection in this price range (or for sale at any price) is downright inexcusable. It basically spoiled everything else. In addition, this was billed as being a romantic couples place, it was clean and need, but without a drop of romance, or any hint of welcoming touches. Also be aware, the restaurant below, if it does decide to open at night, will be extremely noisy and really make this an undesirable place to stay.

We picked up the key, paid in advanced and were left to our devices. This would suit a small family or couples looking to get away for a weekend. As stated previously a fantastic view with a big balcony. Great location, right in the heart of Montville, opposite a lovely pub with great meals and live music. Additionally if you like to shop and browse or take a bush walk through some lovely scenery, this is all within easy reach.

spacious apartment on the Main Street of this quaint little town. Good place to get away from the rat race and relax. Huge bathroom with jetted spa and separate shower. Area has great views and even staying in the 'street view' room, you can still see a small view of the ocean. Only problem is there is no wifi.

We didn't see another tenant all weekend and car park had 3 vehicles overnight. We rarely,travel but told an upgrade n/a but ocean view room avail for more than found the rate extra a night. We could,book 5 nights done on the beachfront for that price . The apartment decor is very dated, has dirty. And crushed curtains that were fashionable ten years ago-bedroom had holes. Decks have \"timber\" furniture that is weathered and grey ..be an ideal rustic wedding prop.
Cockroaches in unit. Coffee cups with brown rings. Only two glasses in the room. No television reception and cheapest brand of TV. Bed was two singles put together but without the topper for a king so it came apart and was uncomfortably hard . I woke with a sore back in the rib area.

Worst Motel Stay for Years
No reception, no one on site at any time. Had to find a place across the road to get a key, pay account. No instructions on how to operate the two TV remotes. Sparsely furnished with tired furniture. Upholstered sofa stained, and tub chair black with dirt. No ice in ice cube tray. Tiled flooring dirty. Nothing to recommend this place at all. Insecure car parking. Way overpriced for what is on offer.

We spent New years Eve and New Years night in an ocean view apartment. What a glorious way to end and start a year! The apartment has lots of room, everything you need and the location offers lots of different things to do. Topped of my the Mooloolaba fireworks watched from our balcony.

The apartment was in a fantastic position close to shops and bars. The apartment itself was advertised as a luxury apartment, this was not even close to luxury. The room needed a good clean, only superficial cleaning had been done, the ledges were dusty, on top of the fridge was dusty, also the bedside tables. Light bulbs were missing from lamps and it smelt like someone had vomited on the sofa. It was a very outdated sofa, so maybe it was sick of being used.
Outdoor furniture was old and worn. Overall it was very disappointing for such a great location and beautiful town. Come on guys, you can do better.
