Comfortable break away

Great for a short break, although the outdoor balcony was in serious need of cleaning and cob web removal. The hammock was very mouldy but was lovely to sit in. Unfortunately our cottage was on the road side and the traffic was very noticeable. I was craving an escape from Sydney to hear the birds, but the traffic was overpowering them 😔 I think the cottages on the opposite side of the property overlooking the valley would be much nicer. I know it’s a case of ‘you get what you pay for’ and this cottage was less than many others you can choose from in the area, but I would have expected the cleaning to be more up to scratch. Interiors of the cottage was also very dated with big chunky furniture that doesn’t maximise the space well. I understand bring a small business though upgrades are expensive and this is purely my own personal experience. I’m sure there are many others who would enjoy the cottage styling and appreciate the surrounds as they are.

Robotic checkin, not interested in providing information regarding suitable places to take our dog walking. Nothing available onsite. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked. Housekeeping exemplary. Picnic hamper (platter as we stayed in) was hideously overpriced for $90. Much better value available in Maleny. Couldn’t walk anywhere from balmoral ridge, it’s on a main road and about 15 minutes drive from Maleny. Felt like we were imposing on them because we took our dog. Advertised as pet friendly, and I contacted them prior to ensure that they were aware. Although the accommodation was clean and as advertised, I wouldn’t stay again because we felt unwelcome.

Nice place to stay. Great service.

Nice place to stay in a bush setting with scrub turkeys feeding outside our cabin. Great views from deck. Service was great with a nice breakfast. The only negative is the close road noise from heavy vehicle traffic at night and early morning.

Cosy cottage with privacy and beautiful view

A very tranquil relaxing few days away from the every day. Completely enjoyable and peaceful allowing time to reconnect and very intimate and private. We never saw other guests as the garden surroundings complete the scenery. Very happy and definitely would return.

Over and beyond our expectations\nwould give a 10!\n

Where do I even start on our amazing experience?
First our babysitter fell through at the last second, I rang and asked them if I could bring my 9 year old son and what the extra costs would be. He said don't even worry! He stayed free and we only had to pay extra for our son's breakfast in the morning. When we arrived he greeted us and took us down to our cottage (I have been on many, many retreats and the staff have not once taken us to our cottage, rather they would throw the key at you and that was that). He was such a gentleman. He had extra blankets, pillows, cups already organised for our son to stay. There was home-made chocolates and cookies waiting for us, as well as fresh scones. My husband ordered some wine for us and we were amazed when they gave us 2009 wine all the way from kangaroo island (top notch stuff!), he showed us all the hot spots to visit. He brought us breakfast fit for a king and queen's feast each morning and it was absolutely delicious, did I mention this breakfast is complimentary in your booking price? Wow. They even noticed my son liked their home-made cookies so filled the jar back up for him and that my husband liked the pod coffee so gave us extra pods. So much attention to detail.

Had a wonderful stay at Lillypilly’s. This was my second time I stayed there with my partner and it was a night away without children. it was very relaxing. The ‘little touches’ make the accommodation very comfortable and I will definately be back.

Arrived at Lillypillys to be greeted by lovely owners and complimentary scones,jam and cream which were delicious. Stayed in cottage with a slight lake view and fabulous spa bath with comfy bed. Everything lovely with tasty breakfast. Nice overnight stay.

Great place for a escape

Easy to get to, but feel like you are away from everything. From the second you step into the place you automatically de-stress with welcoming forest entrance and hosts/owners who are relaxed and go out of their way to make sure you know the facility and how to relax... nothing was too much trouble and the place is built for a stress free get away.

Too expensive for what you get.

too expensive for what you get, small shower, small spa, small rooms. There are better places to stay for the same price in the area. Not able to do any cooking in cottage as it only has a microwave and hot water jug. So you have to eat the expensive meals or eat out. Only two coffee pod left in unit for your coffee. Other type available in bags.

Amazing Getaway

We were looking for a quiet getaway to recharge before the work year begins and could not have picked a better place. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome and completely at home by the amazing couple the run the place. Our cottage was perfect although we booked last minute and missed out on a lake view cottage. The food was outstanding and the spa package left us ready to tackle another year of work. 10/10!

Nice, secluded room

Upon check in we were greeted and made to feel like family. We were served home made scones and introduced to our room. The room was gorgeous, clean & tidy. The spa bath was wonderful! I'd happily stay here again.

Every small detail was taken care of from cleanliness to room service, breakfast and more.

The manager was so friendly every time I spoke with him. And helped with every query our family had.

Our Garden view room was amazing! Very nice and cosy, the 2 person spa bath and the fire place topped it of.
Although we didn't have a view the owners aloud us to take a bottle of wine and sit on the day spa deck and watch the sunset both nights.
Overall it was a great place to stay and a great weekend!

We were very impressed with the time and effort that has gone into the cottage.

The beautiful furnishings and set up, the complimentary homemade biscuits & vegan protein bliss balls.

The menu and food that Josef prepares and cooks himself is delicious. ( I am a chef and you even get homemade hollandaise)

We would and have recommended Lillypillys to people already and are looking forward to staying again for a couple of days to relax.

Well done to Josef and Adele, I am sure you time and effort are appreciated by many.

My partner and I came up for one night as a little get away from our hectic lives.

We arrived to our private cottage, to be greeted by the friendly staff bearing home made scones: Still warm from the oven. The cottage was surrounded by a lush oasis. It was utterly charming and included all of the modern comforts.

It was nice to see fine detail was paid to making our stay comfortable. Homemade cookies, homemade tea lights, bliss balls, even the fireplace was set up to go. Our favourite feature was the spa looking out to the garden and water feature. So relaxing!

I loved it so much, I wish we could live here!

Expensive, as there are better options out there

Fantastic breakfast. Rooms are a bit tired, soap dispenser in shower is a bit tacky when you are paying $310 a night. Road noise was really bad. Couldnt sleep due to it. For this price i expected more as I have stayed at better places for this price

A perfect getaway country cabin with privacy

A romantic getaway with a clean modern spa bath overlooking the valley- but still inside. The log fireplace is a small enclosed one, but works well. Clean modern bathroom. A deck to enjoy the hammock or just to remind you of the fresh country air. The internal benches, window and door trims have been finished in natural hardwood to maintain the country theme. We'd definitely stay there again. the breakfast was a nice added touch.
