Reception and Cafe were closed for the 3 days we were there. Place had clean linen but kitchen area you had to wash items before using. We found our key card where stated but it was surprising that we could open another room with our keycard by mistake. Makes you wander about security. We didn't find the breakfast promised. Managed to find one staff member very undwcently

House keeping needs improvement, feel of dust on bare feet on floors. Coffee cups tea stained,benches not wiped. No coffee satchets. We did not receive our breakfast as advertised. Power and water out on arrival, this is unavoidable, however seemed to me that when i rang the off site manager to inform of the situation she was rude and i felt like i was a complainer.
Advertised as luxury but i disagree. Our view from the front door was the carpark and the one back window view of public toilet. The noise from upstairs units was annoying on lower floors. Over all customer experience was Mehhh. Paid less for better rooms for sure.

There was a clicking noise all night disturbing us. It could be the sprinkler system.
The shower screen was not effective. Subsequently, water all over the bathroom floor.

Room was a good size. There was no staff there to book us in, we received no email with lockbox instructions, had to get one of the maintenance guys to get our key. We booked accom with two days of continental breakfast which was nowhere to be seen, and no staff to ask. Poor.

The only criticism would be that there was no communication about the current closure of the restaurant and supplied breakfast options. I had packed expecting to have breakfast/dinner options there and lunch out with family. This is important as I'm ceoliac which means I can't just pickup a random snack. I'm used to working around such issues but forwarning would have ment I would have been prepared and not have to make special trips for food shopping.

We paid extra to stay with breakfast included but there was no breakfast or restaurant available in this place, so we have to go somewhere else. The nice area showed on photos was is not available at anytime for guests. We would like a refund for the breakfast that we paid and was not included

The bed was comfortable. Very easy to find.
Unfortunately there were no staff to ask any questions of.
I did call and leave messages however did not get any responses. It was the weekend and they do have signs up and notices online they are not available over the weekends and after 4 pm I think it was. We wanted information about our breakfast that was included in the package and never got an answer and therefore never got our breakfast that was paid for!!
So just be aware there will be radio silence at certain times.
I also had to wash all the coffee cups before using them as all 4 were soiled with old coffee or hot chocolate which looked like they had just been rinsed and put back as there was residue down the outsides of every cup!
Left a bit of a bad taste in our mouths. There is plenty of accommodation to choose from around the Maleny/ Montville area and that’s what we shall do next visit. We stay in this region often due to visiting family in Brisbane and always have had wonderful hosts. Shall stick to what we know next time.

There is no fireplace.
There is no spa, just a photoshopped deep bath.
The king bed is short - probably <2m.
They set us up with one roll of rump ribbon.
They don't answer the one staff number.
Place is very run down.

Clouds was brilliant, well appointed and reasonably priced. I loved the breakfast basket that was a lovely surprise. The view from my balcony was amazing. This will be my first choice next time I am staying in the area.

The area around hotel was a great view, however when we checked in room there was a foul smell and sheets were stained - there was noisy guests so was not a peaceful trip - our rate included breakfast however when I sent email to as no response from them, husband went to restaurant and was told they weren’t operating - we had to source breakfast elsewhere a cost that wasn’t budgeted hence booking the trip with this amnesties - contacted Expedia 3 times they advised waiting on hotel ‘manager’ get back to them the staff say oh you have speak manager - will keep everyone posted FYI it’s been 6 days since our stay!

We booked this accommodation as breakfast was included. Was told the next morning after our first night that breakfast was only open weekends. We were told you would have received an email after booking that breakfast was not available week days. We would not have booked if knowing this was not available. We noticed there was packet cereal in the dining area and the least they could do would be to offer some in your room. They need to notify other booking companies that breakfast is not included on week days, our room also never got serviced. We ran out of coffee and milk, no fresh towels and no staff to ask for replenishment.

Arrived at this property 10 mins after their reception had closed which is at 5 o'clock due to traffic, nobody at property except other guests, phoned out of hours number without success, never answered phone. Contacted Wotif who also tried without success, leaving us without any where to stay for the night, had to book alternative accommodation 30 mins drive away. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel. Refund requested and declinded, never been contacted by hotel.

VERY Unusual.

Be aware if you arrive after 5pm there is no one in attendance. I had to guess that the key might be in a safe outside. I had to guess that the blank envelope was mine ( no name on it ) and I had to guess which room I was in !!!
I paid for breakfast and the hotel does not do breakfast during the week.

Beautiful location. Property looked amazing but was quite unclean. The kettle was dirty, there was rubbish and a lot of dirt under the beds. The rug had food and crumbs all over it. The microwave was not turned on at the power point and to get it on we would have had to lift the massive thing out of a cupboard and then switch it on. I never received an email with check-in instructions, as I was advised I would, and was just lucky to bump into someone to help me in. There was a water bottle in the fridge to purchase but when I went to drink it it was already open. The property location is amazing and convenient to town and surrounds.

We had spectacular view of the coast line. The car park area is very small, we came to the conclusion that car parking marks were very narrow and not big enough for the medium size car. Guests were struggling.
We found the bed very uncomfortable. The bed had plastic castors without stoppers, this legs usually designed for carpet areas, on a vinyl floor, which our room had, bed was sliding on a floor. We had good size kitchen/ living area. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Ants 🐜 in the beds
Cups and cutlery were unclean
Pubic hairs on the walls and floor in bathroom
Shower curtain and drains unclean
The promised included continental breakfast was unattainable as the cafe was closed all week
We stayed on a weekday and only found out that it was closed on the door of cafe on morning of supposed breakfast
Very poor service

Great, well organised, modern and very comfortable.
I suggest a \"soft close\" stopper cushion on the internal sliding door to the ensuite, to avoid crashing noise during night time visits to the toilet.
My only dissatisfaction was price, but it was comparable to prices of what else was available when we booked. All accom at this time of year is exorbitant.

An admin disaster and what a shame! Beautiful property with well appointed rooms.
But stay was completely mis-managed. Booked a studio with Continental breakfast. Got an accessible room (despite no mention in booking info), and was told by onsite staff there was no breakfast included, my Expedia confirmation states otherwise.
Booked into my room, sat on the sofa….. WET. So wet it made my clothes damp! Back to reception to be told they’d just had all the sofas cleaned. No sympathy, just a shrug.

We had a lovely stay at Clouds. The only negative was the noise, we were woken up around 6am from the room next door (child running around screaming and crying.. not just 'normal kid noises') (I too have children so I understand... but 6am on holiday is disrespectful). It was also both mornings which was very frustrating.
Chrissy (sorry if incorrect spelling) was absolutely beautiful and her customer service was fantastic!!!!!!

The room felt warm and cosy. The heated towel rails also added a really beautiful and luxurious feel. The amount of bodywash offered was insufficient for two people, though fortunately we bought some of our own. Also, the car parks were too narrow and we had to move our car so that we could get our stuff out without banging our doors into other people's cars.

The young stuff did not listen to us properly and gave us a wrong bill first. In the morning, breakfast was very different from a picture on the breakfast voucher. The young staff received our voucher and didn't say anything. We stood there and stared at her till she guides us through the restaurant.

We returned to Clouds Montville for 2nd time in the last 6 months. It is convenient and has great views and facilities. We stayed for 3 nights this visit. Highly recommended, mostly clean and tidy, although under the sofa needs good vacuuming.

A beautiful spot to enjoy Montville & all the amazing surrounding towns & countryside. Modern room, clean & spacious. Short drive into Montville centre.
(Unfortunately weather was against us, so didn’t get to appreciate the amazing room views out to the coast due to (funnily enough) the Clouds!)

Quiet and peaceful

Lovely little self contained cottage - well equipped and very comfortable beautiful soft towels and robes and the bed was comfy. Great outlook although the other cottages are also quite close … the fire is just a free standing heater so not romantic but the air con heats and cools - lovely bathtub overlooking the bush … maybe some bath salts would be a nice touch - only negative was no food available for dinner onsite and it’s not in Montville as I assumed but we were easily able to obtain a home delivered meal from a local supplier - check in was delayed but super friendly staff gave us a complimentary drink in the lovely lounge - all in all a nice hotel.

Very large and spacious suite with kitchen facilities (ie microwave, plates, glasses and cutlery, toaster). Although advertised as queen bed and sofa bed had extra single bed also. Was very clean and well maintained. Lots of extra towels, blankets and pillows if needed. Great pool area for adults and kids alike. Complimentary breakfast was an added surprise.

We had a wonderful two-night stay in the blue gum cottage. The daily breakfast hampers were delicious and generous, the cottage is beautifully furnished and the balcony opens up to stunning scenery.
