He recommended places to eat and see. Very kind, helpful, and the accomodations were great. The one thing I loved the most is the the vanity mirror was next to a window so it was easy to to see to put on your makeup.

This was my 2nd time staying at this motel, at I was just as pleased as the previous time. Outstanding value for money, super clean, quiet, and nicely decorated with great facilities inside. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows, and air-conditioning (heat-pump). Also has full SKY TV, so no missing out on your favorite shows if you have to stay in, even FoxNews! I plan on coming back again and again.

We stayed for two nights in the two bedroom unit July 2024. So spacious, seperate fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom, big bedrooms (comfy beds!). Cleanliness was impressive (spotless!), lovely modern upgrades. Great parking. Owners are lovely. No need to look anywhere else, this is the one to book!

We stayed 3 nights, Room was serviced every day. Very comfortable unit with everything we needed. Motel is in a nice area and very handy to everything including the airport. On a lighter note, if the motel manager recommends the local Indian restaurant to his guests, he should ensure there is extra toilet paper in the room, especially if you have the hot Lamb Madras. The food was absolutely delicious. Overall, our stay in Nelson was fabulous and we highly recommend The Arcadia Motel.

A nice property convenient to the Nelson Airport, but this can be somewhat of a disadvantage depending upon the flight paths for take off and landing (can be very noisy). The property has a nice swimming pool and barbeque facility.. The beach is also quite close.

This is a nice, clean and well-maintained motel. It is well positioned, close to the beach. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He gave us an excellent explanation about all of the attractions around the area with recommendations for what to do and where to eat. We will stay there again when we are in Nelson.

Living in a bus I occasionally shout myself a night in a motel to relish the space and pleasure of true comfort. Andy was welcoming and my room was wonderful - clean, roomy and quiet. Wonder night to recharge for the workload ahead

This was a wonderful little motel. The owner gave us a great suggestion and directions to hike to the \"Center of New Zealand\" monument. He also made reservations at the Styx restaurant where we had a great meal. Wonderful stay in spite of the rain.

The motel is well organised, good value and clean. The spa bath was great and the room was comfortable, well equipped and a good size. The internet was good which is not always the case at other motels.
We enjoyed the area very much, especially a cruise up the shore of the Abel Tasman National Park. However the motel was some distance from the town and restaurant facilities.

Not so good. Arrived at 2.15pm and they were still doing something in the room and continued while we were waiting. The general state of the room was a bit average too. Bed was uncomfortable -- we think it was a king made from two singles pushed together. Very expensive too for what we got.
