Over priced for a small room with limited views. The bed was very uncomfortable. You just sink inside each end as if its very old and been slept at the same spot every time. Pillows very extreamly hard. So you sink in bed and head get elevated with rock hard pillows. Also food was very much pub quality,mostly deep tried in burnt oil.
Aint going back.

Pros: Very clean room, nice lake view, a good resturant on site, free parking, EV cahrgers on site, good size heated swimming pool.
Special thanks to Sarah who was providing excellent customer service example.

Cons: Don't recommend no window room unless the price is really attracting, ICE vehicles in EV chargers spots most of the time, No gym.
Management needs to review customer service standards, some of staff members need a proper training.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a problem with our room so the lovely person on reception gave us an upgrade to a fantastic room. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Pool area on the lake was so relaxing.
Hotel aesthetic was great, it felt like a lot of care goes into the look and function of everything.
Would definitely reccomend.

We checked in on Friday, within a few hours by the pool, we were asked to evacuate so they could clean the pool, we were told this would take 4 hours. On Saturday, there was a power outage and told it wouldn’t be back for a few hours, so we checked out and came home. Not the best experience. Pool doesn’t have enough lounges to cater for the hotel capacity.

Everything was great. Venue, staff, cleanliness all great. My only negative was with the room. There were amazing balcony rooms but I didn’t realise I booked a room with no window. It did have a sliding door that opened to a weird enclosed concrete courtyard covered over. It was under the carpark and smelt so had it closed. Out of the front door we walked into a corridor that gave cruise ship vibes. Also the room lacked places to put our stuff and nowhere to hang wet clothes and towels after swimming. Beds were comfy and room was clean.
Also the pool was too crowded but it was peak holiday times

Balcony opened to carpark. Had to turn on shower at entry into shower not directly at the tap. No door for shower. No air-conditioning in the room, had to ask 3 times for a fan.No offer for room upgrade. We were there for a family wedding. Very expensive but poor service and poor quality

The hotel room, room-service food, and facilities were nice but the AC was ineffective and there was a foul sewage like smell likely not the fault of the hotel as it could be smelt down the street at Coles as well. Combined, these things contributed to a bit of an unpleasant experience.

The lake was beautiful and the room was nice. There was however no where nice to have dinner in the area. We had to drive to get to restaurants. There is a restaurant at the hotel but it was more like a pub and always really noisy and chaotic. The pool area was nice but while we were there, there were a lot of kids jumping and playing, which is normally nice, but we couldn’t enjoy the pool area.

Had a great stay! The check-in and check-out process was easy, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy.
The only downside was the parking — it can be a bit tricky, as spots are sometimes taken by bistro visitors who aren’t staying at the hotel. Otherwise, everything else was smooth and enjoyable.

Our room was freezing, we told reception and was told there had been issues and to turn it off. The next morning a repair man arrived and agreed it only pumped out freezing air and it would be looked at. We went out all day and returned to a freezing room. So we turned the unit off again and turned on the TV which didn't work. Told reception again and finally the TV control batteries were replaced and the TV worked. Very disappointing.

Essential rooms are small and clean- perfect for 1 night.
Bistro is adequate with limited food choices. The chairs are very uncomfortable. Would love more unprocessed foods like soups and salads - everything comes with chips.
Bar is great, plenty of choice and reasonable price.

Overnight getaway at The Beachcomber in Toukley

Check in was easy. The reception team member was pleasant and informative. There’s plenty of parking. The property is well maintained and has a lovely vibe. Great food and entertainment. Rooms are clean and pretty much sound proof. Our balcony overlooked the pool and lake on the 4th floor and was perfect to watch the sunset and sunrise.

Beachcomber in the lobby and the amenities are beautiful, fresh, vibrant and welcoming. Wish I could say the same for the rooms. The hospital sheets on the bed and the marks on curtains. No privacy looking out into a car park and vice versa them to you.
It feels like you go from 5 star luxury to a budget motel when you step in the room. The saving grace is the bathroom, however odd design to put the shower handle so far away from the shower head.

What a gem!

This was the most amazing place to stay! The views were priceless, the food and service is top notch and the room was modern and clean. Plus free onsite parking!
Staff are super friendly and accommodating.
The only thing I could suggest is more seating/deck chairs around the pool as they are mostly taken by morning and then nothing available all day.

The hotel staff were amazing!! However, the restaurant refused to serve us dinner because we weren’t over 26 years old and had a 17 year old with us. We weren’t drinking alcohol, so not sure what the problem was. It really put a cloud over our stay, particularly the way we were treated by the restaurant and aecurity staff

This place was amazing, the staff were friendly and they had many things to entertain. A playground for little ones, scenic views, a little petting zoo area, restaurant, cafe, bar, club, pokie lounge. They pretty much had everything you need, bear in mind there’s no oven, toaster but a mini fridge with premium teas and coffee. The only downside was the pool wasn’t heated like we thought it would be. We’ll be back again and recommend this place to anyone travelling those ways.

Second time staying at the beachcomber. Beautiful facilities, clean spacious rooms. Lovely breakfast, pub and pool area.

Just some minor things aircon is very noisy in the room. Robes in the rooms would be a nice touch. Also the bar at the pool area isn't always open so you have to go upstairs to order food and drinks. Music at the pool area would be nice all day everyday at the pool.

Would definitely recommend a stay here for a weekend away.
