Short family vacation

We had a great, short family vacation. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and very clean, and the food in the restaurant delicious. The only bummer was that the pool wasn't open. There is an ice cream parlor and a small shop in walking distance, and it was just a short walk to the beach, too. We would stay again!

Location Location Location….. 100 yards away from the Beach, very convenient, ecept for fast food, everything is in walking distance. The Room is very small and NO Wifi in the Room, enjoy the 24” TV.Try to get a Room in the Main Building, the Rooms look nicer. There are no real Showstoppers, but for 6oo$ a weekend I think it is a little bit overpriced.
If you are OK with a small Room without Wifi, than this is definitely the place to stay.

Enjoy the breakfast and the Friday night buffet- you will mot disappointed…..

Wir waren zu Zweit zum zweiten Mal im Deichgraf. Unser Zimmerwunsch wurde voll erfüllt im 4.OG mit Blick auf die dicken Pötte! Unsere Zimmerfee Aphrodite ist super Empathisch und sehr Umsichtig gewesen, netter Schnack, tolle Mitarbeiterin mit Herzblut fürs Gästewohl, zur Verabschiedung wurden wir sogar gedrückt. Für uns die Mitarbeiterin des Monats! Aber auch das Frühstückspersonal waren sehr nett. Alles in allem, alles stimmig. Wir kommen sicher wieder. U+M aus Berlin

Solides Strandhotel mit herausragendem Frühstück

Die Zimmer und die gesamte Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch sauber und grundsolide. Das Frühstück ist wirklich überdurchschnittlich mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Leider war Nachts Lärm von der Heizungsanlage, Brenner oder so. Ich hatte Zimmer 234 und konnte trotz des geschlossenen Fensters Nachts nicht so gut Schlafen. Eine 2. Decke wäre auch gut gewesen, da ich Fenster Nachts auf Kipp hatte. Frühstücksbüffet gut, viel Auswahl. Abends im Restaurant gutes Essen von der Karte. War sehr lecker. Personal Höflich und Informatiev. Strand direkt vor der Haustüre. Manko das Wasser im Bad. Man muss es sehr lange laufen lassen, bevor man warmes Wasser bekommt. Das Hotel kann ich ansonsten nur Empfehlen.

Sehr saubere Zimmer, freundliches personal

Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang und im Restaurant waren sehr freundlich.
Am allermeisten hat mich die Reinigungsfrau beeindruckt die uns am letzten Tag mit einem strahlenden Lächeln eine schöne Heimreise gewünscht hat.
Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber.
Kleine negative: das Balkon war ein langer Balkon, alle Zimmer auf der seit waren damit verbunden. Der Wind pfiff ordentlich da kein Windschutz vorhanden war.
Das Zimmer besaß keinen Kühlschrank oder Wasserkocher, allerdings glaube ich man könnte einen Wasserkocher auf Nachfrage bekommen.
Die Matratzen müssten ab und an umgedreht werden da sie eine Kule hatten.
Im Badezimmer tropfte das Waschbecken und die Heizung. Die Dusche hat sehr lange gebraucht bis das Wasser warm war.
Vom Geräuschpegel her hat man von der Straße oder den Zimmernachbarn nichts gehört. Nur wenn der Koch morgens loslegte um seinen Arbeitstag mit Musik zu beginnen würde man davon leider wach.

Das Hotel hat meinen Erwartungen weitestgehend erfüllt. Ich empfand die Wartedauer beim Abendessen sehr lang. Das Essen konnte ich erst nach ca 50 Minuten bestellen. Das Essen wiederum war aber sehr gut.

Gut gefallen hat mir das ein kleines Kissen zusätzlich da war. Die Unterkunft liegt fast am Meer und so kann man aus dem vierten Stock das Meer sehen.
Der Bus fährt auch dort in der Straße ab und das dreimal die Stunde.
Es gab leider eine Party auf der Straße , was auch im vierten Stock bei geschlossenem Fenster gut zu hören war und sehr sehr lange ging, so das an Schlaf nicht zu denken war.

Es gab Fehler bei übermittlung der Buchung.
Ich buche niemals ohne Frühstück!!! im Hotel wurde ohne Frühstück eingetragen, so das ich das gegen insgesamt 42 € Aufpreis nach buchen musste. So etwas ist inakzeptabel!

Das Hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Wir waren im Wellness-Gebäude (das mit dem Schwimmbad) untergebracht. Für eine Nacht war es ok. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war bei der Ankunft sauber.

Hotel \"Deichgraf\" hat leider seinen Zenith überschritten und wirkt etwas aus der Zeit gefallen: So ist Wifi nur an der Rezeption angegrenzendem Restaurant verfügbar. :-( Insgesamt ist der Hotelaufenthalt optimiert - leider nur für das Hotel, nicht für die Gäste: Überteuertes Frühstück hier, 4 Euro für Whirlpoolbenutzung da und - was ich in vielen Reisejahren noch nirgends gesehen habe: DER AUFZUG WIRD ZWISCHEN 22 und 7 UHR AUSGESCHALTET. Das kann dann auch weder die Strandnaehe noch das freundliche Personal im Restaurant (samt Wartezeit von 1h für´s Essen, auch in nicht Stosszeiten) nicht wettmachen - schade!

Die Lage ist gut, Parkplätze sind vorhanden aber der Aufzug wird von 22 bis 7 Uhr abgeschaltet und kann nur auf Anforderung beim Nachtportier genutzt werden.
Das Restaurant schließt um 21 Uhr und selbst Kleinigkeiten können nicht mehr bestellt werden.
Das Frühstück ist zu teuer.
Die Dusche ist nur für schlanke Personen geeignet und ein Plastikvorhang ist nicht hygienisch.
Der Fernseher ist sehr klein.
Positiv ist die Aussicht auf die Elbe sofern sich das Zimmer auf dieser Seite befindet.

Insgesamt schöner Aufenthalt. Besonders hervorzuheben: Das umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet und die freundlichen Mitarbeiter.
Einziges Manko: In Anbetracht des doch recht hohen Preises war es überraschend, im Zimmer einen Sessel mit abgewetzten Armlehnen vorzufinden.

Energiesparen war ein Fremdwort

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage. Vom Zimmer aus hatte ich einen schönen Blick auf den Weltschifffahrstweg. Ich habe dieses mal ein Hotel in Döse gewählt, weil die mir bekannten Hotels in Duhnen ausgebucht waren. Da in Döse nicht viele Angebote vorhanden sind, hat mich bei der Buchung überzeugt, dass man dort zu Abend Essen kann und eine Bar vorhanden ist. Die war allerdings wegen Personalmangels nicht geöffnet. Das Zimmer und sogar die Flure waren überhitzt, die Eingangstür immer einen Spalt weit offen, was ich als sehr negativ empfunden habe. Als einmal abends die Tür zum Windfang geschlossen war, musste ich außen herum zum Haupteingang, weil nur dort der Zutritt per Chip möglich war.

Die Dame am Empfang war für unseren Geschmack etwas zu flapsig und hat sofort einen Spruch über unseren Familiennamen gemacht, der, da wir sie nicht kennen, unangemessen war.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage, wenige Schritte zum Strand und zu Restaurants. Leider ist die Einrichtung der Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen und die Matratzen waren durchgelegen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Allgemein schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer ordentlich und sauber. Flurbereiche dunkel und tlw. etwas schmuddelig. Pool ok. Frühstück knapp bemessen und zu teuer. Preis insgesamt ziemlich hoch.

Das Hotel befindet sich nicht in Duhnen sondern in Döse. Das Zimmer war etwas sehr klein für 2 Personen.
Personal sehr freudig.
Manko: Abendessen im Restaurant reserviert. Leider nur ein Kellner für die Bestellaufnahme und Abrechnung. Dadurch sehr hektisch trotzdem freundlich. Übrige Personal sehr hilfsbereit.

Ein sehr erholsames Wochenende

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Tolles Frühstück und schönes Schwimmbad mit angenehm warmem Wasser.
Unser Zimmer war etwas älter, aber in Ordnung. Wie wir sehen konnten, gab es aber auch modernere Zimmer.

Wir waren schon mindestens acht Mal im Deichgraf.
Personal ist in allen Bereichen super nett.
Langsam wird es aber echt Zeit mal etwas zu renovieren. Die Zimmer bräuchten mal einen neuen Anstrich. Uns stört es nicht wirklich, da wir viel unterwegs sind und das Zimmer nur zum Schlafen brauchen, aber diesesmal fiel es extrem auf.
Die Lage ist einfach top!! Dichter am Strand geht nicht!!
Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.
