dan
Terrible bed ,sick had rust in it bathtub in bad shape, pay for most channels I will never go back
Rachel
Everything was very clean in my room... linens, tub, floor, sink, etc. However, I'm not used to cleaning with such chemicals... the smell was aggravating. But very grateful for a reasonably priced room for the night.
Kelly
Motel was a basic motel. It does need some remodelling, especially bathrooms.
Bishowjit
It was great and clean.
Sheila
It was clean and cozy,,it was a cool night & the heating system was quiet which made for a good night sleep,,,

Everything seemed to be upgraded to a decent level. My suggestion is possibly softer, fluffier towels. Otherwise great for an overnight. No issues.

When we first checked in and got to our room, there were dust webs all around the ceiling. So I went to the front desk complained. The owner did come out and cleaned it right. We went out for a few hours and later that night, I found an empty liquor bottle on the nightstand shelf. I went and complained and asked for another room because we felt like the room was unclean. He told me no they didn’t have any more availability. Which the motel seemed like it wasn’t full because there was not a lot of cars in the parking lot. Heproceeded to tell us just put the bottle outside the door. As the night went we opened up one of the beds you can tell it was sleeping in and the sheets were not changed. The bed just was made. On top of everything, the floors were not swept. It was a horrible experience. The owner was very unprofessional. I would recommend not to waste your money and cleanliness of the motel zero out of 10.
Sandra
The room was clean, the gentleman at the counter was quick and very pleasant. For sure we will return.

Marvin
Good quite palce for the fam..
Wendy
Good Wifi, surprisingly comfortable bed with adequate pillows, smallish bath towels adequate for a small person, thin toilet tissue, clean room and common areas; some paint scrapes on the wall and entry door.
Perfectly adequate stay with good value for cost.

They advertised a pool and there wasn't one.The pool was the reason I chose this place . Person checking me in completed ignored by inquiry. Got no room service or clean towels in 3 day stay even though they said the would bring us clean ones on second day .
Tanya
Needed a reasonably priced, pet-friendly place during a baseball tournament. Port Motel met our expectations.
Brett
Good if you have a car but no footpath to walk to town

You get what you pay for
Well, you get what you paid for. We stayed at The Port Motel and our room was decent and clean. This time because we had our puppy with us the room assigned was very dated and rather dirty. The bathroom tub and toilet were in very rough shape, rusted and not a clean appearance even tho cleaned. The carpet was horrible and looked like it had not been vacuumed or cleaned in a long time.
Other than that it was a place to lay our heads which was comfortable and the staff amazing to talk to.
Would I stay here again…yes if it is only me but as for family or a couple it all depends what room they assign to you.

I didn’t like anything. It was filthy dirty. The towels were so thin and a grey colour. The little tiny bar of soap was way too small and the toilet paper way too thin. Bathtub was dangerously slippery and no grab handles.
Ronald
Rooms are nice
Perfect for the money? Just needed a bed
Jim
Great place to stay. Staff were very friendly.

The owner at the motel said no he was not giving me the room I booked online and hung up the phone was very rude, I did not know that he still accepted the booking and took my money, when I did not even stay there at all.

1st. night not to bad but bathroom filthy with mould.
Due to flooding in Montreal Que. we had to return home and the owner REFUSED to give us a refund for 1 night.
It was necessary to leave and he would not even listen.
Will NEVER stay there again and will advise others.

We really enjoyed our stay. There was a nice pool, play equipment for kids, a bbq and a gazebo.
Very clean and the owner was very friendly. It is located just on the edge of town, so nice an quiet.

Great place to stay.
Tammy
Comfortable stay at a good price.
As this place very reasonably priced it is not fancy and it is definitely dated. In stating this the bed was very comfortable, the A/C worked well as it was scorching outside and the room was clean. The owner was friendly and nice. He also seems to do a lot of work keeping the place up. He’s always on the go.
There’s an outdoor pool, a lounging area , gazebos for shade and a small, simple playground. As a bonus there are two gas barbecues for the guests to use. Live tv options plus included Netflix was available to watch.
This wasn’t a leisure trip (funeral) but the room was comfortable. I hold consider staying here again in the future.

Cons. Slightly lack of bathroom needs
Cons. Slightly lack of bathroom needs
Virginia
Room smelled musty, door was hard to open, no locks on window in bathroom. At check in there was no information shared and it smelled very bad in the office. Pool area was closed. \"Shampoo\" was more like hand soap refilled into little shampoo bottles. Had to find the cord for the tv as it wasn't plugged in and it seemed very unsafe as there where multiple items plugged into an extension cord that didn't have a ground on it. The carpet was damp in the room. Very outdated and multiple areas where it looks like there was been water damage. Mirrors are so old they have marks through it.
Colin
This property was convenient for our needs We had to be in Port Colborne to meet with family and close our parents estate
ricky
i liked the property becuase its isolated from city.
steven
Room is so small and dirty even i can't explain. I wish i could give zero star. Oh my god bedsheets are terrible too much dirty and stained. Washroom is so small and hairs everywhere. I really regret why i choose this motel for stay. Thank god i choose this room only for one night. My overall experience is terrible.
Keira
It was convenient quiet and a place to lie our heads. Nothing fancy but for the money it worked
Carol
Clean and acceptable. Dated motel
Wayne
Old, shabby , chair in front of five exit, wiring hanging out of walls. Exit sign hits you while walking in..needs safety audit
Gurpinder singh
Everything was good
Sylvie
Stayed for 3 nights and not once did someone come to change our towels. It was noisy and there were dead flies on the window sills.
James
I understood from the beginning that this is an economy Hotel. However, as soon as I commented that the heating system was not working as I expected, they immediately changed my room to one were everything worked just fine. The staff was friendly.
Rebecca
The room was full of mold, you could smell it before you even got in the rokm. They switched us rooms to a room full of blood splattered walls that smelt heavily of bleach
Tanya
Perfect for exactly what we needed! Only in town for one night and not very long. The gentleman who checked us in was kind, accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.
Thank you for a great nights rest!

If you just need a place to stay while on a road trip with no expectations, then it'll work.
I imagine it'll be cold with the gaps in the door seal from the amount of morning daylight coming through the bottom and side of the door jamb.
Limited outlets and internet, the pool looks good from a far.

Smallish and basic room for the price, but very clean, working fridge, great shower pressure, no complaints
Brandy
The unit was birty the blanket had hair on it and makeup carpet was vacuumed
Marlene
We enjoyed our stay, the room was updated and clean, we were close to shopping and restaurants which made this location great!
Scott
Would stay again
jean-pierre
Toilet not flushing or after 3-4 time's if you are lucky. TV sucks, hardly any channels, option of suing Rokku remote but not working. You need to set an account??? Might as well not habe any TV. Cobwebs in corners of room. Bathtub drain awful.
Greta
I was impressed with the renovations. Everything looks new and clean. Nice layout, not like most typical motels.
Kevin
Port Motel was quiet, clean and inexpensive.

Great location close to Port
What I did not like was the room itself was small for 2 people and 2 queen beds. No heat in the bathroom. Room was not very clean as my dog found an empty dog food can under my bed. Didn't appear that they had cleaned under the beds in a long time.

The bathroom was not very clean and outdated. The pillows were lumpy and the towels were thin.
Emi
We have stayed here multiple times and it is great value for the money. This past stay, however, the cleaning job wasn't as good as usual (garbage left in room, duvet had a weird smell), but otherwise there have never been any issues. The management is very nice to our kids.
Joanne
Pleasant overall. Owner sometimes hard to read but always pleasant.
Emi
Great value for the money, especially for families. The renovated rooms are very nice; the pool in the summer is great! The complimentary snack basket is a nice touch. We stay here multiple times a year and enjoy it every time.
Olga
Good for vacation

The owner was very accomodating.
Jacques
Very good value for the price. I also like the ground floor rooms which is something I always request.
Chad
Check-in was easy and the Owner/Operator was very nice. The room was not in very good condition. But it was very economical.
David
The floors were grungy not clean I felt like itches in the bed, damp even the clothes in my suitcase felt damp even with air conditioning on
Neil
1st room was not too bad but then the air conditioner didn't work so we got to put in another room that one was quite dirty.
Rebecca
Try somewhere else.
Disappointing stay. Check in was not smooth. No pool and room was not as advertised. Front desk person was not friendly. Did not seem to know what rooms were and were not available. Will not be returning.
Steven
Looked great in the rear view mirror. Have to be a curious sort for this experience.
Michelle
Because I travel with my tiny dog, I always get the worst rooms so I never give negative reviews. But this was beyond any other experience. Soap scum in shower, rude service at desk and at check out the key was just grabbed from my hand by a man wearing headphones, that did not even give me opportunity to speak to him. There was an ongoing fight in the hall from 2:00 am that continued off and on until 4:30 am. I was frightened, and then the next day I found bed bug bites. They were made aware, no refund from them or Expedia who I booked through. The worst accommodations experience I have ever had. Extremely disappointed with both the motel and Expedia’s response.
KAREN
Nice room, updated.
Nancy
