We were told up front that the room would stink. The air was broken. The microwave was unplugged because it was shorting out. There were holes in the bedding. The lampshades were cracked. The water was lukewarm. The toilet leaked into the floor and the television had lines running through. No towels. I could go on forever.

Advertising for full breakfast. There wasn't even coffee. I can't even name it all. It's a dump.

Stopped during a cross country motorcycle ride after encountering a major rain and wind storm. Bed was good, room and facility were average. I was able to park motorcycle directly in front of the room, which I prefer.

No coffee pot in the room. I asked for one the first night, but did not get one until the next day. So did not have one the next morning.
Room could use a better clean.
The bed was comfy. The shower was nice and strong.
The owners could do some minor things to improve room. Use a stain pen on scratches on furniture. Paint trim. Replace faucet. Faucet was wrapped with same aluminum material that had come off and was very unattractive and old.

I love this days inn. Often stop here when I travel from Texas to Ohio. I needed laundry facilities and the ladies at the office were super helpful, got my senior pups travel blankets cleaned up and fresh for the next day of travel. The pet friendly rooms have tasteful wood flooring so accidents were not a concern ( she didn’t have any but just in case)
Clean, plenty of hot water , microwave, good size fridge, nice little drip coffee maker.
Nice large lawn behind the pool for walking dogs.
Gas station and convenience store right adjacent and several nice dining restaurants near by.

Not worth the money

First, I don't know what the draw of Dickson TN is but stay someplace else. ALL of the hotels are over priced, Espcially the Days Inn for what you get. I stopped there because it was a good layover site on my drive back from Austin, TX. The room had a combination musty/Mr. Clean smell. The linens were a \"washed too many times\" gray. Everything that could be rusty in the room was. This included the door hinges, the toilet paper holder and a panel on the ceiling. I will say the bathroom had clearly recently been remodeled but in the end the room was not work the $95 I paid for it. On my way to Austin I stayed at a hotel a few miles west of Dickson that was only $75 and had a much nicer room.

Well the room was where you would breath the smoke, air conditioner comer was broken, no fire alarms in room and a corner of the room looked like the wood was rotten. My “non-smoking” room reeked of smoke that was difficult to clear with an open door and fan running. The bedspread was spotted. There were obvious stains on the floor around the sink and in the sink. The bath tub with rails was as requested but paired with an extra low toilet without any nearby rails to help those seated in such a low position.

I checked us in and was given the 2 keys. I walked into the first room and it smelled terrible. I walked into the second one and it looked like someone had slept in the bed and left it unmade. The smell was also terrible in this one. At that point, I went directly back to the office and told her that the second room looked like someone was already checked in there or it hadn’t been cleaned that day. She told me it was impossible and showed me the cleaning log for the day and dismissed me….I needed a place for me and my kids to stay, as I had been driving for 13 hours that day and wasn’t safe to continue. We had already paid, so we all just slept on top of the covers and left as soon as we got up at 6am. The place was just nasty. I wish I had never put myself or my kids through that. A pic has been added of the way the bed was found in the 2nd room.

Toilet did not work. It wouldnt flush, very gross. The lady at the desk kept my i.d., thank goodness the lady the next day caught me before i left or else id be in another state without it. She had no idea why the night lady didnt call and tell me. The beds were hard but otherwise everything else was okay. I probably wouldnt stay there again though.

When you check in a motel and they say check out time is eleven, you don't expect to just run down the road to grab some breakfast. Come back and find your room has been ransacked by the housekeeping that cannot speak English. They go in and they open your curtain. They leave your door open and your belongings are still in there. And you tell them when they're sleeping the parking lot. No, I'm not checking out yet. I'm just going to go get some breakfast.

First let me say the lady working the desk was nice and helpful. 2 rooms reserved on Expedia. Both rooms were filthy. Hair in the tub drain, unswept floors. One room, TV didn’t work nor did the air. Moved to another room and killed three roaches immediately. Talked to the lady at the front desk and she refunded our money. While waiting, someone walked in off the street and got a room for $70.00 less than I paid through Expedia. I went across the street and got the last two rooms at a MUCH nicer hotel and paid the same price. Do better Expedia and Days Inn.

Honestly because I choose this hotel for the free breakfast I was highly upset to find out there breakfast was oatmeal cream pies and honeybuns from the gas station that is attached to the front of the lobby. It should be illegal to advertise free breakfast and set out some SNACK CAKES. The pool was the only good thing about this place because it was clean, cold and 8ft deep. Definitely bring your own breakfast.

I didnt like that is advertise continental breakfast and all they had was danishes and coffee still in the plastic wrappers was not impressed you have to drive through a gas station parking lot to get to the entrance and the office to register there was one person in front of me and it took more than 15 minutes to get me to the desk I just don't think I should take that long to get someone checked in the rooms were fair but was not impressed with them either

No other food choices. Another guest said the same for the day before even. No good options for coffee either. I was very disappointed!! I was disappointed to find the bed sheets had not been changed. It was quite obvious the sheets had been slept in. I was tired upon arrival and simply removed them and put down a blanket I had brought with me to cover the bed instead of calling for new linens. When I went to the lobby area in hopes of finding something for breakfast there were only two breakfast bars remaining. Only coffee was available. I would not stay here again.

They advertised free breakfast. Thats one of the reasons i booked with them. All they had was coffee and juice. There was no do not disturb sign, so my husdand told the front desk not to go in the room unless we asked. Every day we left and then came back, they had been in the room. The carpet was so dirty that my grandchildren's feet got black, I'm not lying, the carpet in there room was even dirtier. There was food or whatever on the walls. There was a blood or something smear on the bathroom floor.My daughter came up to visit, she brought her puppy. She saw he was chewing on something and got it out of his mouth. It turns out, it was a nasty brown in color large toe nail. We came back to our room one night and the desk person was trying to run off sum homeless person.

Other than the person at check-in, the staff especially, the housekeeping staff, were extremely unhelpful. Had to argue daily just to get enough towels, trash never emptied, one of the days they never cleaned the room. The carpet in the room was so filthy that we had to wear shoes to walk around the room or our feet would be black like we were walking on blacktop. Pool was closed, no breakfast as advertised. Very disappointing.

I can rate nothing on Days Inn other than customer service as i was denied my room. Pet friendly is ONLY dogs, which you find out at the bottom of a subpage on their site. The front desk had no idea or interest in helping me find another hotel that accepted cats, even though one was in the same parking lot. And of course, the room was non-refundable.

Before booking our stay, we called to ensure our cat would be able to come in as we were traveling from PA to TX and this was our half way point and we were told that he would be allowed and the site also said pets were allowed. The restaurant close by was very good. Property was outdated and had broken air conditioners and other appliances stacked in breezeway. There was no breakfast offered even though it is on website. We got a decent nights sleep, it was inexpensive and we got what we paid for.
