The hotel was dated but clean and quiet and reasonably priced. A good selection of fast food restaurants and Walmart nearby. Staff was always courteous and helpful. The only issue we weren't happy with was the bed. It was very, very hard and we both were in pain during the nights and stiff and sore each morning. Overall, a good deal for the money. The bed was our only negative experience.

The front desk manager is phenomenal. He addressed all my needs and what I thought was absolutely fantastic is that he brought the Wi-Fi password code to my room because I didn’t have a pin to write it down. I will definitely stay here again.

Last minute reservation for a tournament. Check in process was fine, staff was very nice. When we got off the elevator it was suffocating hot, opened our rooms and it was 90° on the thermostat. It took over 3 hours to cool the room off, still walking into the hall was still hot.

It was an okay stop for the night. There is an older building in front of the hotel that appeared deserted. The room was missing towels and hair dryer. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were a couple of fixtures that kept falling from their designated places and some sort of square grab bar tubular fixture setting on the floor in the bathroom as if it was just being stored there?.

This hotel was the worst. When I checked in no one was at the counter for at least 20 minutes. The desk representative Ashley was very unprofessional and the other barefoot man as well. Dirty rags in the room, continental breakfast was a lof of bread and some squeeze butter. A NO FOR ME!

Beds weren't clean and room obviously not to typical standards. I was informed on arrival that I had no reservation, despite me calling them 3 days before arrival and confirming. I was then asked to be in a room in an older bldg that was in very bad shape. The hot water could not be turned fully off in the tub, the paint in the tub was flaking off in patches, the bathroom fan was extremely noisy and came on with the lite. A table was pushed against the connecting door (to the adjacent room) to prevent others from entering thru it. Several electric outlets were loose in the wall. Only 2 drawers of 3 in the dresser were usable.After 3 days of a 6 night stay, I was offered a room in the newer bldg.

I enjoyed working with Rick, he was very polite and responsive to our requests, such as more towels needed. Here are my comments to represent my scores: the property is located by the highway, so expect noise and not much ambience for property sight; the property and equipment is \"old\", so expect the look and smells that go with those types of properties; the breakfast is basically cereal, milk, and juice; while the linens are bedding are clean, the floor in my room was unpleasantly \"sticky\", not sure if unclean or due to the high humidity; 2 pillows per bed, which is nice, however, if you are a heavy pillow sleeper like me, I was folding it 3 times to have any comfort - just go to walmart and purchase a pillow and leave it there; the location is great for the highway (easy on and easy off), gas, shopping, and especially Atchafalaya, a great restaurant. Perspective for my stay: I was in town for the superbowl, and paying the amount I did for being 50mins out was accommodating. If I paid that much for a basic vacation or travel, my scores would be very unflattering to the point of only \"Ones\". Basically worth $39/night max.

No eggs, no donuts, no jelly, no artificial sweeteners, no liquid creamer, no cereal, no sausage, no bacon. No waffle maker, no bagels, Very odd. But great room and great staff!

We were very pleasantly surprised by this little hotel! It’s right off the highway and very quiet. Not far from New Orleans or the Mississippi Gulf Coast for some fun. The person working at the desk was so friendly and kind. The room was pleasant and clean. No complaints!

There was supposed to be a continental breakfast. The continental breakfast consisted of a loaf of great value white bread, a bottle of squeeze butter, a toaster, coffee but no artificial sweetener only sugar, and corn flakes. I don’t expect a lot but this was pathetic.

My family has stayed here several times. It’s very affordable and clean. The free breakfast doesn’t have much, but I would rather pay the lower rate than other local hotels and get breakfast elsewhere if necessary. The staff here is excellent and friendly. It’s probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Before you book the place, make sure you book non-smoking. The non-smoking rooms are newly renovated. I stayed here for 2 nights. Richard our desk receptionist was awesome! He called to make sure that everything was ok and that I would be coming to check-in. When I arrived at night, the parking and office areas were well lite with bright lights. They had cameras to monitor your safety. I had no issues with checking in. Everything they posted on the website is the same as what you see at the hotel. The room was very clean. It came with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine and tv. Since this was a quick business trip for me, I didn't mind that they didn't have a swimming pool or workout area. There's not a lot of amenities. I just needed a decent place to sleep. The only thing that I would recommend if you check in is, ask for a room that's not across from the elevator. My room was across from it so I heard everything. However, other than this problem I had, I would totally return to this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located around tons of fast food places, Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree, clothing stores, gas stations, and other small businesses.

It was a little warm in the room when we first got there, but the AC had it cool in no time. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay at this hotel and more than likely will stay here again the next time we visit the area. Thank you for all your help and the thoughtful gifts for our granddaughter.

Unfortunately the AC in our first room didn't work due to electrical issues. The one in the second room also tripped the breaker but we got it going again. The beds are very thin mattresses and looking under the clean sheets I saw a large stain and the cover over the boxspring was dirty. Continental breakfast was small plastic wrapped muffins, empty juice pitchers and cereal. Sketchy looking area with old style hotel building in front of the newer building we stayed in. I would not have felt comfortable staying alone.

I'm originally from Picayune and will often stay at the Heritage Inn during my visit. Overall, I thought the cleanliness for rooms and the property was exceptional. The service was great as well. However, there were a few notable issues that were of concern and hopefully will be addressed during my next stay: The internet seems to go out every morning for a few hours. I was hoping to use this time to continue working before I left for the day to visit friends and family. Secondly, there were no irons and ironing boards in either of the rooms. This was a tremendous inconvenience as I had to continue requesting for one at the front desk.

The hotel and our room was very clean. It was cleaner than many of the higher rated hotels we have stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only real complaint was how the room was stocked. There was only one bar of soap for the sink and the shower and it disintegrated quickly. There was only one coffee package and no creamer, sugar, or stirrer. Also only 2 towels. When asked we were provided additional items listed.
