Unfortunately, my stay did not meet the standards I would expect from a five-star hotel.
I paid to privatise the spa/pool at 12:00 for 45 minutes, which is already a short slot. When we arrived, no staff were present and the area was not prepared. I had to call reception, staff arrived late and only began setting up once we were there. The pool was not heated and we ended up getting only about 30 minutes of use. No apology was offered, which made the experience feel like a waste of money. There was also confusion about the price (I was initially told €100, then €150 on arrival).
The room also lacked basic amenities: bathroom items had to be requested individually, the bathrobe was damaged, and the USB charging port was not working.
Checkout was handled poorly. Because the spa appointment started late due to staff delays, our schedule was already impacted. Despite having a late checkout until 13:00, I received a phone call and a WhatsApp message shortly after warning that €100 per hour would be charged if we did not leave immediately, which felt unnecessarily pressuring.
Additionally, the €150 security deposit remained blocked on my card for 30 days after checkout and required several follow-ups with both the hotel and my bank.
On a positive note, the luggage attendant was very welcoming and helpful.
Overall, the service and organisation did not reflect five-star standards.

The beds are in a really bad state sadly as well for the pillows. They have massages treatment’s you can use after sleeping and waking up with neck pain and back pain. The shower was not working, one button was broken. When entering the lobby you smell PISS. I have never been in a 5 star hotel like this before. If you expect an experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

I love this little tucked away hotel. It’s close enough to walk to everything but far enough away to be quite a secluded from the noise at night.it is right on the Seine on the right bank but a tiny walk over one of the many bridges and you’re right there on the left bank. The staff went above and beyond for every request. They even helped us with adjustments when our flight was delayed a day. I would definitely stay here again. The only draw back at all is that the pool can be rented privately from noon-4. So if it is rented it’s closed during that time. But everything else was absolutely wonderful. We were so impressed by Le Damantin. The staff were all and I mean ALL, really friendly and helpful. The room was clean, well arranged and lovely decor. The food was really good at every meal. We couldn't be bothered to go out for dinner our first night so ate in the hotel, and it was so good we dined in another night instead of going out. The hotel is really conveniently located, just a 30 minute taxi from Gard de Nord and easy walking distance of several sites of interest. The weather was lovely so we walked everywhere instead of getting the metro. We would definitely stay here again. The only slight negative was that our room window was over the courtyard and one night some (rather embarassingly, English) guests were being very loud until 3am, so perhaps a room with a window facing the street would be more guaranteed to be quiet.

We stayed two separate times at Le Damantin this past 10 days and we loved it both times. We had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower, the rooms were great, the staff was super helpful and it was very walkable to all the major tourist spots. We would definitely stay here again. Only critique is there is only one small elevator that is pretty slow. Very minor point. Thanks again for the great stay!

Arrived at the hotel at 6pm to no room being available-we had to wait for another hour until they found us a new room which was an upgrade-the wait made us late for our dinner plans which was a pre-booked tour on the seine, we just about made the departure time.
Room itself was fine except the bathroom door did not close meaning no privacy for two friends sharing the room. When reported, reception came up and tried to fix the door to no success. We asked if they could leave us get ready as we were already late and fix the door while we were out.They came back and asked to fix it while I was in the shower 10minutes later. Upon return, they told us the door was \"fixed\" but it wasn't.They offered us a new room the next day for duration of our stay.New room was also on the upgrade floor and nice.
We had to request for room service to clean our room the next day as our please clean the room sign was on the door from 10am-3.30pm without being cleaned. Dirty room service plates and trays were also left out in the corridor was a full day without being cleaned away.

It was a birthday weekend destined to be a disaster, I had requested from the hotel a airport taxi to arrive at the airport and not to be greeted by anyone… we ended up getting the train instead!

We attended breakfast our waiter said everything on the menu was included, then to be asked to sign a bill for €80!!
We went out for the day around Paris, returning to the hotel at 4:30pm to find our room hadn’t been made up! Is that a 5* service???

Great location! Staff friendly. Rooms are fine, one had a good view, nice bathroom. The other had view of inner court, not worth much, room was quite small (king bed) as there was barley any room for luggage. Only issue was check-in, as one of the rooms was not clean until after 5pm, which was a little frustrating after a long travel.

The actual hotel room was very nice. It is very modern and luxury. It was also clean and the location was great. The manager had a very rude attitude and also there was a noise in my room the entire time from the ac dripping, i made them aware but they did nothing.

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The standard rooms with no view are very small but we had no intention of spending much time in the room. All the best sites to see are within 15-25 minutes walking distance from here and it's a fairly pleasant walk. Lots of construction in the area though, so be prepared for different routes. Uber from here is super reasonably priced. We ate at least one meal here every day and the food was PHENOMENAL. The bed was memory foam, very comfy. Pillows were soft/down feathers. The shower was gorgeous and had a giant waterfall shower head. The pool was my favorite thing. The pictures actually don't do it justice. It's all marble, the marble floor is heated, pool is heated a bit, and the temp in the pool space is very warm. There's also a sauna that was great to use.
The staff are fantastic, they go above and beyond. I can tell this hotel caters to rich, rude people because the staff apologized anytime there was a miniscule wait time for anything. I'd most definitely stay here again if I ever visit Paris again, 10/10

I reserved the superior room that had a small table and chairs in the balcony, hoping to have breakfast with the beautiful view and was not given that room. At the reception I was told that they didn’t have those tables in the Expedia pictures. When I looked out the window, both neighboring rooms had that table.

My first trip to Paris and I’ve fallen in love not just with the city but Le Damantin hotel also. Location wise it is excellent. The staff and owners were extremely welcoming and helpful in all aspects. I booked a return trip on checking out. It is definitely one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in.
