Cannot rave about this place enough. The only thing I marked down was the amenities because the restaurant wasn't open, which was a real shame because I'd have loved to eat there but I do understand it's not open every day and we stayed on a Tuesday night.
The hotel itself is stunning. I wish I had longer there, there is a stream running through and a hammock hanging over it. I did attempt it but have little grace so didn't go too well 😂 but it's beautiful to sit and have a drink in the evening or cuppa in the morning.
The room was rustic looking but still had everything you need and was spacious. The bed was sooo comfortable I couldn't wake up! I was in Blue Heron I think it was called. We arrived after the office closed so they left all the information out for us. In the morning I went to say hello at reception and chatted for ages, they were so nice and friendly.
P.S. visit the Pourhouse in town if you can!

I normally do not leave bad reviews, but this experience was honestly horrible and very upsetting for my family. When we first walked into the hotel, we noticed dog hair all over the couch. I brushed it off because I understand people travel with pets and tried not to make a big deal about it.
Later that night around 11 PM, my husband went into the bathroom and turned on the light when he saw a roach come out from the sink. After hearing that, I immediately panicked because I have a huge fear of roaches. We started quickly cleaning up our snacks and belongings, and that’s when we noticed multiple roaches around our food, inside the trash bag, and near our things.
At that point, me, my husband, and our two small children packed up and left immediately around 11:30 PM. We drove all the way back home to Cherry Hill, New Jersey, which was about a 2.5 hour drive. It was upsetting and honestly dangerous having to drive that late at night with two young kids, but I felt more comfortable going home to shower, clean our belongings, and make sure we did not bring anything back with us.
The worst part is we were only there for about 4 hours before discovering the infestation. The next day we had to wash all of our clothes and clean out our car after even finding what looked like part of a roach leg from our luggage.
This entire experience was disgusting, stressful, and disappointing. No family should have to go through this, especially while traveling with children.

This was such a peaceful stay. We took our dog with us ($75 by the way. We didn’t know it was an extra charge) and she was so happy with nature, us being city people. The hiking trail was great. I loved that there was no television, but my husband didn’t! There is wifi though. Next time we will get a stand alone cabin for more privacy. But our room was fantastic: fridge, pots, pans, stove, etc. It was ready all you need to bring is food. Oh and ice, they sell ice, but i would have preferred ice trays for freezer and there were none. We also brought our kcup coffee maker. We will definitely return. The staff was very friendly as well.

This was our third stay at Magnolia, the staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The stream is beautiful and they just opened a restaurant. The food was really good. My only complaint is a cleanliness. I would suggest that they do some quality control around the cleanliness because the lodge was not clean. The floor was extremely dirty. There was some hair in the top. I didn’t feel comfortable using the kitchen because it was not clean.. just something to focus on moving forward. We had a great time though and enjoyed our stay, we love that we can take our dog!

The view from the balcony was excellent, wonderful, a great view of nature. The cabin was very clean, the bathrooms, the kitchen, the living room were excellent. I would definitely visit again soon. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Great place to stay in the woods. Sadly I didn't have a chance to try the pizza cause it is only open Thursday-Sunday but maybe next time. The lady that works in the office is very polite.

Magnolia Resort WOW! This trip was beyond my expectations. I went through a total healing experience. I Started my trip with Magnolia Quantum Spa I walked out there brand new. Now this resort caters to tranquility, quietness and its landscaping water streams and resort itself is PRICELESS. I can’t wait to go back.

Forest Lined Relaxation w/ Babbling Brook

Beautifully maintained quite lodge and catering venue nestled in the trees with calming babbling street and koi pond. Very friendly staff. Beautiful country style rooms. Pool and play yard for children. Wooded benched gathering area for events like a forest wedding event and the like.
Looking forward to our next stay when the restaurant will be open. Lovely outdoor dining area.

We stayed at Magnolia Streamside Resort and it was truly beautiful. The house was spotless with warm wood interiors and two comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was good and we didn’t cook much but everything we needed was there. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by magnolia trees and clear mountain spring . We would only wish to stay longer.
This resort is a true gem .If you’re looking for a magical rejuvenating and relaxing gateway,look no further!

We had such a beautiful stay! We stayed in the Tree Top Suite. We felt like we were at a home away from home. My only concern with booking in the summer season is that I only saw one air conditioner in the wall of the main living space (kitchen, living room) None of the rooms seemed to have air conditioning which may be uncomfortable in the hotter months. Other then that we LOVED Magnolia Streamside Resort. We will book again!

Pleasantly delightful.

We had a pleasant experience. The cottage was clean and had all the necessities. Peaceful location in a lovely area with a nice stream that runs through it. Was unaware the cottage did not have a television. I'm sure all those who seek to disconnect will be grateful for that. For all others they do have wifi services if you want or need.

The inside of Laurel Cabin was dusty and somewhat dirty. The dishes were dirty and cracked. The paper products were cheap. There was a small snowstorm while we were there and the walks were not cleared until a day later. Overall, the place was not well cared for.

My room was very clean, the heater worked. Front office seemed never to be open, but that could be due to the time of year (November). Very quiet. WiFi available and working. I would have liked to have had Kleenex and a wider tea selection, but there was tea and coffee, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, etc
No ironing board and no iron. Could have used more hangars. Overall it was very comfortable- the bed and pillows were just right . The surrounding property is very pretty and it would be a perfect venue for an event such as a wedding or party.
