Far beyond my expectations, convenient to everything, quiet (except for the inevitable train passing noise).super clean no odd smell at all, and the backpackers seem to be nicest people ou can find too. It's economic yet comfortable stay, i couldn't find any reason to complain now that i paid $22 for a big room with a king bed table and chair and private bath and walking distance to the train station

A very fun and nice hostel. Mix of Taiwanese and international guests. Staff was very welcoming. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and only a short walk to the train station and dining options. Would visit again.

Lovely stay in Hualien

My stay at BayHouse was incredible! The staff are the friendliest and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and have a good time in Hualien. Any time they saw me, I was greeted by my name (which is a small gesture that means a lot) and we had a bit of small talk. The hostel’s environment is very cosy and I really love their eco-friendly ethos. If ever in Hualien again, I would definitely stay here. Absolute value for money!

Good location

We really enjoy our stay in Bayhouse. Very close to the train station. The host is very nice and friendly. 1 minus thing is you can hear train passes by in the morning till evening. It didn't bother me and my little boy. If you are a light sleeper maybe you'll have to think about it. Other than that everything is good. We will come stay again if we can.

Home away from home!

Bayhouse is a very lovely place, quiet and comfortable. I found the staff very friendly and welcoming! Really enjoyed my stay there for 4 nights! It would be good if Bayhouse could invest in some bicycles for guests to rent directly for riding around Hualien!

It's close to Hualien Station and has great access to public transport. There are also delicious restaurants about a 10-minute walk away, so I'm very satisfied with the location. However, there was no staff at the front desk, the door key number was an automated email, check-in and check-out was done by leaving the key on the desk, there was no explanation of the hotel facilities, and I couldn't ask anything about restaurants or sightseeing, so it wasn't a good hotel.

7號合宿的房間鄰近馬路，除了戰鬥機之外還不時有人、車的聲音，來的人最好自備耳塞，招呼我的人講話很制式很大聲，一樓販售的商品香精味道對我來說太濃了……

像回家一樣的溫馨自在

謝謝管家Damon很熱心建議也很健談。
枕頭不是很好睡，床有點短但還算夠用。雖房間內有浴室，但洗澡我都到1F公共浴室洗，不用跟別人搶很方便，像在家一樣自在。

女生房-貼心-提供熱水袋。
床鋪軟硬適中。附鎖小置物櫃。
大金冷暖空調設備，夏冬皆宜。
一樓交誼廳很多座位。
一樓後方陽台打通 自助洗衣機。
進入大門按密碼鎖，無門禁。
冰箱也可以存放食物飲料。
小廚房有烤箱 微波爐 盤 杯 餐具。
沒有包早餐，但冰箱有豆漿可以食用。
小幫手很熱情又親切喔！ 給他200分。
雖距離鐵道近，但晚上10點後 火車很少，所以幾乎感受不到火車轟隆吵雜的感覺。

無可挑剔的體驗

出發前看了網友的評價，更期待入住。
從火車站走過來的路程並不遠，途中經過了一個小公園，不難找。

抵達時key上密碼即可順利進入，一個人靜靜探索青旅一樓的所有，每個角落都很用心，還有許多第一次見到的小創意(自己有住過滿多青旅的經驗)例如旅人自我療癒放鬆精油、便利貼牆、還有公益拍賣、免費分享區、明信片等等，最喜歡的則是旅人和小幫手無私分享的各種經驗和小店(本身是吃貨，而且更喜歡在地獨有的特色美食)，種種的一切，實在是讓我太喜歡、太驚艷了。

一晚的單價非常低，但完全不會因為低價，品質而有所影響，房間的用心處處可見。
一進房間有淡淡的香味撲鼻(果然是香香的女生房)很喜歡雙拉簾更有隱私、床頭燈櫃、乾淨舒適，床鋪竟然是有厚度的獨筒床墊(非薄博的軟墊)睡起來超級舒服，直接被圈粉。

除了硬體設施外，我也非常欣賞北吉光的環保意識，本身也是注重環保的議題，希望能用自己小小努力讓環境的傷害降低，酵素清潔液的概念非常棒。
最後是與管家杜杜一見如故，又親切又熱情，照顧每個旅人，更謝謝杜杜分享的\"日本媽媽\"甜點奶酪，真心好吃!
謝謝經營北吉光的所有人，對於旅人來說，雖然只是短暫的停留，但的確在我生命中留下了非常滿好的回憶。
另外還想說杜杜所創作的北吉光創刊號，著實讓我感動萬分，那是無法形容的旅人心情，再次感謝所有人。

管家服務態度滿分！！但住宿環境霉味太重且吵雜

管家超級熱心、親切，不論是事前電話詢問還是當場的應對（不同人）都超讚！！
但房間的規劃上可以再加強......可能是浴廁也在房間內的關係，雖然方便，但整間都是濕氣跟霉味，一推門就嚇到，然後整晚非常痛苦鼻子不舒服...加上冬天較冷，也不便開窗流通(不然靠窗的室友應該冷死)....
浴廁在房內的缺點還有晚上12點、早上6、7點都有人起床洗澡吹頭髮，也是完全沒有隔音(畢竟同一間)。雖然管家有說怕吵到室友的話，可以去一樓洗，但一樓好像也只有一間，真的要洗根本不夠，大家可能也覺得有一半的室友已起床就沒關係了@@
這邊其他人都是分享正面的經驗，但霉味問題在google評價有很多人提到........希望管家正視這個問題唷。

這次入住了兩晚，訂了雙人房間，第一天的女管家很友善，還擔心我不能把行李搬上房間，熱心地幫助我，房間很整潔，如衛浴是拉門更好，因浴簾會令地面濕透，第二天的男管家，他很健談啊，還跟我聊天，旅店還有明信片可用，只要自覺投幣便可，還有留言牆，門口位置的吸煙區很舒適，很棒的小旅店。

住宿距離火車站只是步行約10分鐘，非常方便。週邊環境很寧靜、房間整潔及寬敞、雙人房的2張單人床極有私隱度、浴室大及熱水充沛、職員態度和善及主動給與意見往週邊的地方遊玩、㕑房很乾淨、價錢合理、往市內觀光如東大門夜市也只是步行40分鐘而已。
唯浴簾太短，花灑水會易弄濕外圍(在此說一聲抱歉)。另只有樓梯，所以重的行李搬上搬落有點吃力而已。
整體上也非常滿意，值得入住啊!

房間有床虱，那是讓人難以接受的!! 其它滿意

民宿算是蠻近台鐵火車站和客運總站的，大約6到8分鐘的步行距離，。
地點是在主要市區道路裡的一條小巷子，不難找，環境安靜。附迎有便利商店、早餐店，康是美、BURGER KING、麥當勞5到8分鐘左右步距，生活機能還不錯。
宿內設施令人滿意，有旅人參考用的自家制的小冊子、電腦、水機、免費土司果醬、晾曬衣服的院子和衣架、防蚊液、防曬液等等。房間裡有吹風機、按摩的小工具、有洗澡洗髮精是分開的。
關於房間清潔度，表面看是可以的。但不幸的，我住的6人房的那張床，竟然有床虱，咬了我整個大腿和手臂都是紅點，痕癢難止的狀態持續了一個多禮拜。
本來想說這一家是給100%的滿意，可是床的整潔度真的很重要! 房間裡有床虱是一個相當嚴重的問題，希望民宿能改菅這一點，清潔的工作做得徹底，定時用吸蟲滿的機器給整個房間的床舖徹底清潔。

近火車站;整體不錯,乾淨.整潔;還提供明信片代寄服務;冰箱供應免費吐司及果醬;比較可惜的是只有提供洗衣機無烘衣機;公共空間桌上放著4大本近年來旅客分享的好吃好玩(旅客自行手寫)的資訊,這點很特別也很貼心!另外小管家非常的熱情,會主動與旅客聊天,覺得暖意滿滿~有機會會再入住!

Friendliest staff in Taiwan. Short walk from train station. Very clean and spaciuous. Place is very good for Hualien. I recommend.

我最快樂的一次hostel住宿體驗

這是我最難忘的住宿體驗。管家、小幫手和旅客們都非常親切友善，我們天天都在大廳聊天，又一起去玩。旅館性價比超高，價錢很便宜，但環境又新又乾淨，單人床很大很舒服，文青裝潢風格，有廚房和洗衣房，有免費吐司提供。位置方便，位於中山路大街開端，出去直走就有不少吃的、超市、書店等。

完全滿足

很開心選擇了北吉光作為我在四天四夜花蓮旅程住宿的地方。首先要感謝管家熱情的招待，能夠推薦在地的旅遊、美食、購物等資訊之餘，親切的態度讓人不怕去尋求幫助，幫了很大的忙；旅館的環境也非常喜歡，簡約的風格很對我的口味，旅館位置也接近火車站，非常便利。設施基本上滿足了青旅需要的，環境也乾淨，四天過去都沒有不舒服的地方。下一次再去花蓮一定會再來。

완전 만족합니다!! 화롄 기차역에서도 멀지않고 맛집들이 몰려있는 중산로와 인접해있어요~ 방도 엄청 넓고 방에 개인 화장실, 화장대도 있어요! 완전 굿!

第一次選擇Hostel很謝謝北吉光給我們這麼好的體驗。管家非常熱心介紹景點及路線安排，讓第三次來花蓮的我們玩的很盡興！
房間乾淨，空間充裕，唯獨火車經過聲音很大，也算是很特別的體驗。雖然沒有提供停車，但附近停車也算方便。感謝貼心提供吐司果醬咖啡，下次去花蓮還會考慮再入住喔！希望房間內可以加設全身鏡跟小毛巾就更完美了！

1.入住時員工不在，只是打電話跟對方說我有訂房，結果對方就告訴我密碼了，總覺得有些不安全。而且入住手續也是後來才自己下樓補辦，萬一遇到天災人禍，而我卻沒辦入住手續的話，可能會造成搜救上的資訊缺乏。
2.置物櫃很小，一個普通大小的後背包都有點難塞進去。
3.房間角落有一包開過的多力多滋，不曉得房間有沒有整理過。
4.浴室的淋浴空間與廁所只有一張浴簾隔著，旁邊地板還是濕了。

兩位可愛的負責人很好很親切，他們更像是熱心的朋友一樣跟你聊很多，告訴你各種房間事宜。住宿走廊的各式標語都很個性，非常溫馨。離花蓮站步行十分鐘的距離，不用打車，非常推薦自由行的朋友去住。

火車站5分鐘腳程的背包客棧

多次入住北吉光，管家接待親切，還有整潔的住宿環境，整體來說很舒適，房型有雙人房也有混宿，很適合背包客來過夜，也有附簡單的早餐，CP值高。重點是離火車站近，旅館附近也有小吃餐廳便利商店，生活機能佳。

明るいスタッフのホステル

駅からは近く、繁華街からは少し離れたホステルです。
チェックイン時、少し早目に到着してしまいまだ閉まっていましたが、入り口の張り紙で電話若しくはFBでのメッセージで連絡をとあって、メッセージを送ると数分で出てきてくれて、スムーズにチェックイン。周辺の地図のDLなど親切に説明してくれました。

A nice hostel to stay in downtown

The host is genuinely polite, make me feel like home every time I go. The room is clean and neat with a little area to read and chill(Double bed). The price is totally affordable as well.
