This is a rare opportunity to see what the interior of a real French residence from the early 20th Century looks like. Very authentic. Reasonably well maintained and not so remodeled that you cannot tell what it was like years ago. I stayed during the Vintage car expo, held just 2 blocks away. It is only once a year, but worth a visit.

Myself, my husband and my 3 children stayed for one night on the way down to the south coast. It was lovely, with a lovely pool. The room was nice and comfortable and spacious and the hospitality was lovely.

This property looks nicer on the Expedia listing, as it is a business during the day. We stayed on the third floor of the Chateau on a 90 degree day with only a small fan.

Stayed one night as stop on journey through France, was adequate for our needs, the family room on the top floor was large and quiet. The pool was clean and helped to wind down after a long day on the road. We stayed in August and the town seems to have limited restaurant options in August, we found a perfectly adequate Italian doing Pizza and Pasta dishes.

This is a wonderful old manor converted to a hotel. The rooms are large, clean, and quiet. The included breakfast is family-style, a nice way to meet people. The breakfast was tasty with fresh quality items. The staff was friendly, helpful, and bi-lingual. I would stay here again

Sent 2 emails in advance that they never responded to. Seemed surprised when we turned up. Bath tub in bedroom. Bed and bedroom a bit small. Excellent breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice.

Clean hotel accommodation was quite good

WiFi didn’t work, bathroom. Window has no blind so shower is visible from outside. Apart from that clean and good quality rooms. Person in the desk friendly enough but very little English but we made each other understood.

Be careful which place you book here

The site you book with gives you ,is deceitful, we thought we were staying at this lovely hotel. This hotel is also a real estate agent that manages properties, we ended up in the middle of town, in an apartment out the back that did contain all our needs, but left a bit to be desired, it wasn't real clean, smoke reeked, even into our clothes in the suitcase. Not very happy I'm afraid.Had to go back to the other hotel for towels, .We had to wash the bath mat before we used it.

The manor is in a good area and walkable to the town center. However, we booked and paid on hotels.com but before they would let us check in they demanded another $47. We couldn’t cancel and get a refund so we had to pay.

Nice Manor in Vitry Le Francois

We only stayed one night and were there limited hours but the gentleman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The room was good for one night and there were very few guests staying at the property so we didn't have issues with noise. We could imagine it would be loud if there were others around because you could hear everything outside in the hall. There is a nice pool on site and the grounds were peaceful and comfy. The oddest part of the experience is that they are also a real estate firm and as such there are realtors on site and the name on the building is of the real estate company, not the manor. We quickly figured out we were in the right place though.

Prima voor een weekendje of op doorreis

De kamer was ruim, bedden goed. Melding fietsverhuur is incorrect, geen fietsen beschikbaar (pas op zo’n 15km) badkamer ‘smoezelig’ gastheer zeer vriendelijk.
Hotel ligt in een woonwijk, loopafstand van centrum. Parkeergelegenheid prima. Ontbijt prima voor franse begrippen. Zwembad fijn.

Nous n'avons que moyennement apprécié le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de salle de bain (jacuzzi et lavabo dans la chambre) et que l'accès au WC est peu aisé. L'équipement de la chambre est assez spartiate (pas de gobelet - pas de clim -pas de set d'accueil café/thé.. ) par contre le cadre général est très agréable et nous avons bien apprécié le côté piscine terrasse avec un un distributeur de boissons fraîches. Le petit déj est excellent.

Pourquoi tous ces avis négatifs? Après les avoir survolé, on craignait le pire. Mais cet hôtel (ces chambres d'hôte) est vraiment très bien. Accueil chaleureux, décor soigné, spacieux, piscine propre et chauffée, plein d'endroits où s'asseoir confortablement dehors, possibilité de manger son repas autour d'une table en terrasse, petit-déjeuner copieux et de belles rencontres à la tablée... Rien à critiquer. Nous n'avions qu'une halte à faire, mais nous serions bien restés plus longtemps.

Camera ampia ma trasandata soprattutto per quanto riguarda la pulizia. La vasca idromassaggio era inutilizzabile perché se azionavi il getto dal pavimento usciva sporco e cattivo odore.

Chambre Violette grande et très confortable, avec équipement haut de gamme non prévu dans annonce Booking (réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, bouilloire, tasses et cafetière). Douche italienne de très grande superficie. Très bon petit déjeuner avec appareil professionnel pour le jus d'orange.

Pour les beaux jours, la terrasse est superbe. Les chambres sont très bien et l'accueil toujours chaleureux.
On se gare très facilement juste en face et pour le soir, le centre ville est accessible à pied en 3min.

Super endroit, super accueil, tout était top. Le seul bémol je dirais que l’exterieur est trop chargé... trop de trucs, trop de mobiliers trop de pots de palmiers.... Pas facile de circuler et un peu oppressant, mais c’est peut être nécessaire pour le nombre de lits de l’ensemble... je sais pas... en tout cas tres bel endroit en amoureux ou entres copines, et nombreuses possibilités d’accueil pour les groupes

Katastrof från början till slut. Ett hus med diverse kommers. Saker överallt. Charmlöst rum utan finess. Inga glas-ingenting. Detsamma gällde toaletten som var helt tom sånär som på handdukar och papper. Var fanns toalettartiklarna som utlovades vid bokningen? Kändes som en verksamhet där man kunde tjäna pengar men göra så lite som möjligt.
Frukosten tog nog priset när värdinnan satte fram bl a ost som var stenhård och luden.

Tout s est bien passé excepté la déception du hammam qui ne fonctionnait pas...le courant pas branché et pas de serviette.
L appartement super mais pas 2 chambres comme indiqué...2 lts ds le salon...pas grave..l accueil sympa. Nous reviendrons !
